Commonly known as a Morris chair, this project is on the bucket list of almost every woodworker! The square posts, front and back, and angled side rails create the trapezoid-shaped base. With huge sweeping arms, through mortise-wedged tenons, and a curved adjustable back, this build will show off your patience and craftsmanship. Our video production, booklet, plans, and patterns are designed to give you the knowledge and confidence to build this classic chair and do it well. - Jak na to + styl
I bought my tickets online to meet you in Indianapolis this past weekend but then I couldn't make it. Hope you come back again next year. I have always enjoyed watching you from PBS to CZcams and I think that history will remember you as one of the greats. Yjamkls for the show = looks good.
Thank you for the education, as beginner woodworker, I enjoyed your descriptions and techniques.
Fantastic build. Love it.
You used the flush trim bit top and bottom of arm curve but what did you use for the remaining middle? Chairs are sweet.
Looks Rough Cut with the right Tommy Mac.

Maybe I missed it, but what kind of wood did you use, and how long did it take to make one? Where did you have the cushions made? I think you said you kept these for yourself, but if you were selling them, what would you charge? I'm gonna take a stab at $1800-$2200 each. I'm just getting back into woodworking after a 20 year hiatus. I have no intent on attempting something like this at this point, I'm just curious. Cool video though. I'm gonna check out some of your others.
Makin, these are great questions. We are working with Tommy currently and share his videos here on our channel.
