  • Join me and your favourite girl, Sarah as we go to Costa Rica's most active volcano. We spend 4 days in Poás, searching for the best things to do. Not only do we see the volcano in all it's glory, but we also indulge in the incredible foods offered in the area, namely, strawberries and coffee, and a variety of other Costa Rican delights.

What a cool adventure to Poás! Those b rolls of the volcano and stunning views from the different restaurants you have went to are just wow… incredible! Super crack! The hike to the volcano doesn’t look too bad. That’s good your prayers worked out in your favor because you were still able to go see the volcano! Definitely worth the three hour drive for sure tho! It was roughly the same time for me when I drove from Quepos to the Santamaría airport, but I’m used to long drives like that and so it didn’t phase me at all; there was a lot of scenic drives along the way.
The coffee looks amazing too! I think countries like Costa Rica are the king of coffee! Real, tasty, flavorful and strong coffee without the ridiculous price tag too.
A strawberry farm too! Those strawberries look really good. Poás seems to offer a lot to do in terms of activities and restaurants!
Looking forward to other adventures you have ahead! Pura vida!

0:34 Hey Sara, good to see you again! :)
2:52 Interesting! This is the side of Alajuela I have not been to! I do remember staying at some host family’s house as an AirBnb and it was about 14 km away from Poás though!
4:07 Oh yeah, fresh tortillas made from scratch! That goes well with some nice Costa Rican food. That definitely is a treat
4:22 Lol I think you answered your own question Emma; that dish is called the “Boom ahhhh!” Haha just kidding 😂
5:55 - 6:03 Wooow, that’s like next level chocolate covered strawberries! That looks delicious :)
8:27 Lol gotta take the photo of the food before eating 😀😀
8:43 - 8:49 Wow! Love the back to back b roll of the night view and the sunrise view; both are beautiful to look at :)
10:09 - 10:11 Emma sitting looking pretty on camera hehe; probably just promoting that safety is beautiful (hence the helmet 😂 😂)
11:38 - 11:58 Oh my… that is just wonderful 😮. Look at that stunning view. Unbelievable. Comes to show that cloudy weather can still be beautiful. The viewpoint is impeccable too, and I can imagine how surreal it be to be in a very cloudy area
    12:15 Pura vida!!! 🇨🇷
13:21 - 13:23 That was Sara’s practice session for model walking hehe (just kidding)
14:40 - 14:43 O________O…. La sopa, gwauuu, que gigante! Way bigger than I expected lol! It definitely looks good :)
15:14 Sara is like “…Oh you’re recording this?” Lol 😂
    16:50 - 16:51 Sliding to someone’s DM’s be like:
19:10 - 19:14 Yeah I remember a friend of mine who lives in San Jose told me about the Doka Estates. And it’s cool there’s a Starbucks farm here! I imagine the quality of coffee is unmatched compared to Starbucks. I used to have Starbucks once in awhile but these days not so much. Definitely missed out on coffee tours when I was in CR, but looking forward to trying it whenever I come back one day
20:41 Yeah now that you mentioned it, I did notice how the restaurants in Costa Rica are very colorful, beautiful, and provide some of the greatest views. I like it! I mean, some of them play reggae-ton too! But a restaurant like the one you’re in is my liking! I personally enjoy hearing the sounds of nature especially when you’re eating your food :)
24:15 - 24:18 Wow, stunning hike. A good spot for an Instagram photo jeje
24:32 Those berries remind me of a time when a friend of mine from the Blue Falls Of Costa Rica tour picked out some really minuscule berries for me to eat. I was like “No way mae, those are edible?!” And he was like “Yeah! You can eat them!” Those minuscule berries I ate there looked so similar to the one in that shot and I thought it was interesting
26:33 - 26:36 Whoooa that’s awesome! An ox cart! Man, I would love to ride on that! :)
29:34 Whoa what! There’s even a swing inside the cafe? Wow, that’s pretty cool! I be there all hour 😂

This adventure was so much fun! Glad you liked it, you'll definiitteely have to visit when you come back to CR. The strawberries and coffee were so, so good, and the tortillas alinadas (not going to put the accented N, last time I tried it opened a new page and deleted my entire comment LOL). We were so excited to see the volcano, it was really epic. Hehe, awesome timestamps, I swear half the time you notice funny little things that don't even phase me, I love it! Always a good laugh.
PS, Safety is always beautiful :P
      Thanks for watching Tony!!!

ALWAYS, ALWAYS, ALWAYS wash strawberries 🍓 b4 u eat 'em. They have been sprayed with pesticides in the fields plus they have soil on them.
