Yes, the size is the amperage of the resistor, if you put a 1/4 watts resistor instead of a 1/2 watts resistor it may blow or overheat, don't know way but 0 ohm resistors are often used as cheapo fuses, but are mainly used as a easy way to separate blocks for diagnostics, you remove them and then you can diagnose that part of the board separated from the rest.

Well done, I like the way you approach the case. So professional. Just to satisfy my quench of perfectionism, If you had a proper shrink pad then only thing you needed to do was to pull out the specific head of the wire from the socket and cover it nicely with that. I'm not the fan of electric tape as it is susceptible to heat and it may roll off sooner or later.

Jokes aside, RTX 3080/ RTX 3090 FE and some variants of the AIC cards have their GDDR6X chips known to overheat, mostly due to bad thermal paste assuming rated much lower than 6.0 W/mK thermal conductivity. I think the community will benefit greatly if you can make a guide on how to change the thermal paste and thermal pad on the graphics card safely. I am sure this will be beneficial, and coming from a person with love and care for hardware such as yourself, many people can learn the proper way to do it!

Those shrink-wrapped cables/harnesses are custom-made by hand. You can’t find the exact same one to buy anywhere. If you needed to replace the harness, you’d have to buy the connectors used, cut your own wires to the size and crimp/solder the connector to the harness, following the exact-same pinout and cable section. It takes a lot of time and potentially expensive crimping tools.
