Great content. Good to see some in depth diagnostics. Don't worry about video length too much. It's when content is deliberately padded out that it becomes unpleasant to watch.

This reminds me of a DDR4 GT1030 card. It had a missing 0ohm resistor for PEX RESET (cheap variant, without the and gate) and one of the two 0.2uF MLCC from PCIE lane 2 was also missing.
Seeing the AND gates missing on your board, but no other component around them missing got me wondering again, what kind of accident can knock those off the PCB but leave the surrounding components unaffected?

Excellent investigative work...what was the work time on this case incidentally? With two components torn off, I'd have thought I'd see at least a leg left on the solder pad from the package, so seemed to me quite odd how that wasn't the case.

May i suggest a add on to your setup, a better light for the microscope which gives less glare and more details, offcourse you can buy it from the one of the biggest ........ at this moment (NR......) but i think aliexpress or amazon should also work fine for a far better price :)

My question is how do I know that only the solder joints are broken or if the IC is broken? I once measured the IC myself between Vss and vdd 5Ohm is that normal or how can I measure the RAM module myself for a defect maybe you could make a video about it that would help me a lot is the Samsung K4Z80325BC-HC16

So now that EVGA is no more, what brand would you recommend at this point? I've always gotten EVGA because of their RMA services.. wouldn't trust MSI with a 10-foot pole and I've been burned many a time before sadly learning that lesson.. gigabytes.. gigabyte is a terrible company LOL at least on the customer facing end.. I've always used Asus motherboards, and have been well served in that regard but the last days these motherboard that I've had operational was an x79 board... My x570 build is still in progress as I just haven't gotten around to it yet for about a year and a half two years or so... But when I first got the board for it I returned it because I thought it was an open box.. turns out they just don't seal motherboards anymore.. so who knows if it was actually LOL I'm assuming that's one of the reasons why... from the sound of it there's not really any of the major electronics manufacturers that are trustworthy these days...
I genuinely do not want to have to have the first thing I do buying a new video cardneed to check to see if they put thermal pads on everything LOL. That's just not a thing that I've ever thought I had to do on a video card LOL.. especially now in the modern age when they cost an extra fortune on top of the fortune they already cost, and when it's very very apparent that EVGA was unique in how they did RMA.. so it's not like I can trust if there is a problem that it's not going to be tooth and nail to solve it...
Is there any good board manufacturers out there anymore? And if not what is the least problematic from your experience? I had more than a few EVGA video cards pop on me within a very short span back in the old days.. but they also didn't cost anywhere near what they cost nowadays for the equivalent.. and this was back before they did the whole quality service overhaul.. anything 2010 and above I've had nothing but extremely good service from EVGA.. and over the last decade with my x79 board and 4930k.. I've kind of grown accustomed to not having to have problems with my computer LOL I would not like that to start again, especially now that the motherboards are three times the cost for the equivalency.. apologies for the rant LOL..
