Absolutely amazing work!
Thank you very much for sharing this helpful series with us.
u r great man...hats off to ur work..Zmaster
bought it a month ago because of you :) fun times
Thanks for this incredible series! Is there a way to use the reallusion suite but not use the body? I have a character that is wearing a full suit of armor, so I don't need a body inside. I just want to use the head from character creator. I'd like to use their skeleton and rig too, but modify it with extra joints so I can hand keyframe the armor plates. I do know how to modify rigs in maya but I don't know if it will break things when I bring it back into the reallusion software. I am working my way through all your videos but if you've already covered that sort of thing, can you point me to it? Thanks!
If I understand correctly, yes, I think natively you can use the facial setup (and just hide any body mesh you don't need obviously), but the extra joints and such these videos might be a good starting point (?):

@@MichaelPavlovich Super helpful! Thanks you're the MVP!
Thanks for your content! I have a question: is there a way to export the expression from CC4 to zbrush? something like "current pose".
It would be great to have the expression with the micro details in the layers and wrinkles, since my goal is to have an expressive face to then print. It's possible?.
Thank you!
Yes, goz sends over facial expressions
@@MichaelPavlovich In the "zbrush face tools" plugin I can't find this option :( ...where is it?
@@MichaelPavlovich I mean the expression created in CC4, send it to zbrush, along with the wrinkles.
I understand that there is the option to export to zbrush with "current pose" but I wanted to do it with the wrinkles and the micro details layer included, that's why I thought that with the "face tool" it could be done?
@@clepzarellano1926 ah I see; the good news is, face tools WILL update the body workflow face shapes (SDiv1), so those expression shapes, like you said, can be sent over with GoZ. The bad news is, face tools main use case is to quickly and easily populate expression wrinkle texture data for runtime expressions for SDiv 2-6...not really for 3D printing the high res source. While I'm certain there are ways to brute force detailed wrinkle data from your face tools model to your body model, I'll have to play with the options to see if there's an "elegant" solution unfortunately
Michael, can face tools be used just for adding different expressions for a sculpt without animating? my main goal is using CC for posing and
i was thinking Face tools could be used for the expressions. Is that workflow doable? Thanks
poses are just paused animations, so I don't see why not! depending on your final output face tools might be overkill for what you need (?) - give the default shapes workflow a shot (video 7 in this series, or video 04 in the body series) and see if that does the trick maybe:
