I gained 3 pants sizes after recovering from bulimia + excessive dieting. I'm still working on the confidence as a transmasc person, there's the added layer of being "too short" or "too soft" to be a man, but your videos have really been helping me. Thank you ❤

You're gorgeous! Not trying to compare or anything, but as a 23 year old female whose always been skinny, slim, slender, thin, started to feel self conscious around the age of 12-13. Plus, I have scars all over my body, from injuries, accidents... and that's my biggest insecurity. But sometimes, I dare myself. And sometimes, I feel comfortable in my skin. I'm still working on my self confidence, but thank you for making this video 💕

i think i'm on the skinny side, but i've always been insecure of my stomach because it doesn't look like the perfect ones that all of my friends and influencers have... so i thought that low rise just wasn't for me. but you know what i did? i pierced my belly button, because my stomach deserves to be shown off too. i slowly forced myself to wear more low rise clothes and i love how i look... thank you so much for making this video, i think it'll be very helpful to many people.

Hi Jess! Watching you really makes my plus size heart warm. I remember shopping for a prom dress in the maternity section of the mall and being so ashamed that I picked out the most middle age going-to-work black dress just to avoid the embarrassment. Being from an Asian country is much more traumatizing since the people normally are petite and skinny that clothes usually comes in freesize (XS-M). Thrift stores and Shein (no shame here) really opened up the opportunity for me to love clothes and have them fit my body type. Youre my inspiration for trying out styles that I wasn't comfortable to see myself in before. Thanks for existing in the internet 🥰

But for the past two years I've gained more confidence and started to make a wardrobe that reflects my personal style. My struggle is being fat AND short. Most plus size clothing assumes the wearer is also super tall so all clothes end up being way too long for me 😭 I have such a cute sternum tattoo I wanna show off but every crop top I get comes down so low over my tummy that I have to tuck it into my bra if I ever wanna show skin. I also struggle with depression and once I unfollowed russian bloggers, your channel became a new comfort zone for me. I found your videos about self-acceptance and feeling comfortable in sex/relationships so relatable, since I've never enjoyed interest from my peers and my classmates added to it, treating me as if I was the most disgusting human they knew (i never really understood why), so I didn't feel like I could find love and feel loved, not until recently. that line about that you are focusing on that * you * want to wear and that makes * you * comfortable - totally agree!!!
my fashion, and even, gender expression is * for me *. I don't even care about pass now, like, why should i care about some rando guy on bus station thinking about my gender? that rando guy thinks about gender in third biology class books terms which were written in the last century. even if he will use right pronouns on me, he will be wrong about my gender anyway because he never heard about xenogenders so why to worry? [not saying that everyone should think that way, i know it's important for a lot of people to pass, just talking about my personal expirience]
getting * my * outfits and creating my way of fashion, my way to express through clothes boosted my self esteem to the sky, i am slaying, i feel powerful, hot and it's the best feeling ever (especially after beating ed)
and if someone can't handle go(thicccc) god, well, feel sorry for them because their life must be boring as hell >:P

Our bodies are beautiful, but we also have to take care of our bodies. Advocating for brands to sell sizes bigger than XL is kind of absurd in my opinion. Nobody is “naturally “ an XL, that’s an excuse. We need to promote healthy eating and exercise in addition to makeup, skincare and fashion. Beauty comes from within. It may be a controversial opinion, and I get it’s a fashion video, but I would definitely like to see an emphasis on health and working out in these types of communities

this is a hugeeee misconception because of diet culture and social media, genetics mean that people can be any size and still be healthy inside, skinny people can still be ill or unhealthy babe, its not just immediately a lack of health or understanding of food, i know of fat people who go to the gym, eat beautifully healthy dietician recommended foods every day and honestly are doing much better than most people, but people with attitudes like yours still harrass them or spread misconception just because you dont understand how actually different bodies can be and how the clothing industry is literally built on making people feel insecure and incorrectly labelling sizes, sizes are literally different at every brand
