- I have to say, I was not expecting to be thrown by Michael Bisping at this particular point in time đđ„This clip is taken from my time helping him with his amazing seminar at the For the Love of MMA event held in Manchester recently!
The renowned MMA fighter and UFC legend covered all sorts of great coaching concepts to a hugely appreciative crowd during his time on the mats. Here, he goes over one of his favourite ways to defend the single leg takedown đ„đ„đđ
I had a truly great time with Mike and I know that everyone who attended loved having the opportunity to train with him on the day! Make sure you get following him and the For The Love Of MMA event series across all social media today!! I can't wait for the next one đ€Żđ

Once you listen to the details of every movement, you realize how elite these guys are. Look at guys like Charles O. or the other champs, they do this in their sleep, without even thinking about it.
Exactly, they do it so effortlessly and smoothly itâs almost unnoticed, they know thousands of these from countless positions
Only time Charles sees a belt now is in his sleep.
@@DanaOrtiz Charles is still the champ and you know it
You do anything long enough itâll be easy
And the little movements Charles is doing whilst being taken to the floor, so he ends up in the best position and possibly submitting his opponent is unreal when they slow things down and u see the little movements of his leg say to be in a certain place and his hand going somewhere else it's all in a fraction of a second under pressure and whilst being hit and taken to the floor! Unbelievable
bisping is so much more well-rounded than people give him credit for... real natural fighter
All top 10 contenders in UFC are natural born fighters
âIf you want you can slide off give him a couple little cheeky elbows.â I love Bispingđ
Cheeky elbows... ouch đ
niic litle elbow
Cant believe this man went in the octagon with one eye to see thru. Man really got talent.
@Hugh J. Null he didnât say âat the beginning of his careerâ
@Hugh J. Null okay â
@Hugh J. Null o
@Hugh J. Null still going trew fight camp and then be in a fight wile missing one eye is certainly not an easy task
@Hugh J. Null stop backtracking you thought he meant ufc by saying octagon, just own it and stop embarrassing yourself
Bisping actually had great tdd
Yea, gsp was having a lot of trouble
@@vuger01 Not really lol GSP took him down when he wanted to, It was the elbows from the bottom he had trouble with and after 4 years and fighting in a weight class he never fought in before he was a but rusty and still whooped Bispings ass rocked his shit dropped him and choked him unconscious before he had time to tap.
@@-Macx you hating on thee one eyed champion Bisping?
@@ochncapknaclmgs Nothing I said was wrong lol, I just said facts idgaf bout your gimped out British tea drinking got his lazy droopy eye knocked loose by Vitor Belfort plus scared of Yoel Romero and got whooped by an untrained civilian âFighterâ lmao explain where I was hating huh? Huh!?
Bisping did have great tdd. Fantastic cardio and an iron will as well. When he was fresh in his later fights his feint game and volume were fun as fuck to watch.
a great teaching his techniques, it is always appreciated
@BigoleYouknowwhat everything is a technique, tell someone without experience to try it or you start training what is simple but to do it correctly and fighting is something else, that's why it's a technique
@BigoleYouknowwhat itâs his because every person has his own variation.
@BigoleYouknowwhat
You took it way too literal... Bisping is showing how HE gets out of it so yea, it's his technique. Doesn't mean he invented the dam technique.
@BigoleYouknowwhat it's like a musician playing his song but he didnt invent the scale or notes or chords the musician plays song with a construct assembled by musicians over the course of thousands of years. It is still the musicians song
Is that a whole TOKYO GHOUL LEG SLEEVE?! that's dope af
i didn't even notice that. sweet!
What a time to be alive. Free training snippets from living legends like Bisping and GSP. Also crazy how when these two guys fought back in the day Bisping had one functioning eye and GSP was suffering from colitis yet they were still two of the best martial artists in the world. What a beautiful art and sport!
Great teaching method from a fighter and champion that I used to hate but now I respect and admire.
You can see the instinct after the reverseâŠknee to toss
Step by step, you can tell he loved drilling this. Hip tossed him for fun, hats off to Bisping, legend.
Fantastic. Love it. Used to wrestle in high school varsity at 189 while weighing 170lbs. Pure wrestling right here. Love this with the mma stuff which makes you absolutely lethal.
Good hip toss I had to use that on my oldest boy the other night while he was drunk on whiskey
Thatâs THE BEST single leg takedown defense Iâve ever seen!
"Sorry mate" flawless throwđ€Ł
Amazing
Brilliant channel this great easy info to follow from world renowned legends tbh
Bisping will forever be a g mans best Luke with 1 eye đ
heâs a character for sure but a cool oneđłđđ
Guy has the making of a ufc champion!!
Fighting is just a matter of simple steps. Mastering these steps and executing when it matters.
The legendary bisping. Let's go
CZcams needs to let us save these short clips
What I do is I send them to myself on Facebook messenger
Do you see that like button? Use it, simple, you can save videos into playlists too, are you new to the internet?
Imagine if Jorge tried to fight this dude.... He'd of been half DEAD by the end of it
I mean heâs also a lot bigger. Jorge is not a big welterweight
@@sweetteaaddict7181 thatâs the point⊠masvidal still talked shit like he wou dlg have get murdered
@@petermisberg732 Yes most fighters do that. You really think any of them want to just say âthat guy would beat the shit out of meâ. Durrr DUHHHHH
This is actually fantastic! Slick moves from Bisbing. When was this, recently?
This guys pretty good he could probably make the ufc one day
Iâve done this 10,000,000,000,000 times.
Let me tell you- I am so glad itâs being shown.
Use it.
bisping teaching wrestling is like the blind leading the blind
I would have thought that too, but what he is showing here is the same stuff that a lot of elite wrestlers and coaches are teaching.
Legend mb
Legend
This would've been gold
When i was a kid, Imagine the stars that are coming!!
Bisping had solid TDD but he was even better at getting up fast every time he was really hard to hold down for more than few seconds
Bisping was never easy to hold down great grappling skills forsure
So smooth
Great body throw. That was so cool.
I love this
Thanks so much
Legend at work
damn awesome teaching style
Champ got some great moves!
Can't underestimate having a strong neck and grip
He is the man
Impressive
Awesome
Bisping has come a long way. I remember Chael shutting him down with wrestling. Bisping changed a lot, and became a decent grappler.
Bisping with the old school Japanese Jiu-jitsu.
Rolling into a knee bar is also good. But, I also like this. A lot safter and viable at the cage wall.
Bravođđœđđœđđœ
Bisping knows his business Very well ...
this guy could be champ one day
good lesson from a champ
Bisping should play main role in action movie
Wow đ„
Gold.
Legend..
Iâve learned to defend the single but without grabbing the arm, ima implement that.
Damn look at bisping with the judo
BISPING!!!
Wow I just learned this, crazy move
I used to dislike Michael Bisping,,,then over the years I realized that he is actually a decent fair minded & normal human being. He put in excessive amounts of time,,,dedication & sacrifice for the sport of MMA. He knows the game & knows his art extremely well. Mikes a Legend !!!
Such a g
He's a former ufc champ for a reason đŻ. That was dope!!!
This technique looks legit
Smoooth
This is so badass. It's literally like watching a stunt in a movie but this is real life, unrehearsed stuff & he can do that amongst countless others even if he was completely blindsided & caught off guard. Just goes to show the level of these guys.
That dudes leg tattoo is amazing
Little cheeky đ
I'd pay good money to learn everything that Bisping knows about MMA.
Ok
It took him his entire life to acquire all that knowledge, i doubt you have enough time lol
@@PMC_Wanker_Group I'm not an 85 year old man, chill out.
Heâs a good teacher. Where/when was this
Lot of people forget that he won the belt with one eye
Nice
Looks like a tokyo ghoul tattoo on the guys calf. Pretty cool
đ„đ„
Imagine this guy in the UFC
This is all I need. The secret sauce boys
I prefer to go for the uchi mata since the one leg is already in between theirs, but this works too if you want to break the single leg
âCheeky elbowsâ
Love the Brits.
Bisping is so intelligent with fighting , seems sometimes people think heâs just a brawler but thereâs so many layers to this manâs skills ⊠well done mate
This only works if youâre bigger then the guy taking you down.
Otherwise if your front leg gets isolated off the ground like that youâre almost always going to the ground afterwards.
A better defense to this takedown is letting it happen then explode on the scramble once it hits the ground. Most guys are so focused on just getting you down that they forget to maintain position control once it gets there.
Nice, but his partner has the grip wrong on the single. A good wrestler would have the hand around the leg palm down which makes that grip break much harder.
Real deal
This guy couldâve been champ
Could've been champ of what?
đ
He seems a great fighter, he should sign to the UFC
We call that in the wrestling world R and R rest and relaxation! U can sit with that wrist control and whizzer for ever till they get frustrated and use all their energy trying to finish and get u off balance then when they go to switch to two u get that leg free keep the wrist control and set up a nice counter re shot attack!
Anyone else notice that Tokyo goul tattoo on the other guys leg, looks cool as shit
Man, he couldâve been the MW champion of the world!
If he had one đ he might be a champ someday
This is first year high school wrestling
Cheeky Elbowđ€Łđ đ€Łđ đ„đ„đ„đ„
donât look cheeky tho
Nooiceđ
He needs to talk more about his leg placement. When he went into the wizzer, he should have said WHY he moved his arm and LEG especially. Going around the quad is a BIG deal.
And as always
âELBOW, BUTT, BLADEâ
Every engagement should be pretending you have a knife.
When you disengage you should ALWAYS be throwing an elbow or creating distance.
Literally one of the best anti wrestlers in the game.
Gsp basically said so as well.
Top pirate
How did this work against GSP? UK fighters have zero grappling.
Now watch it again and notice how every movement, from a real fighter, is explosive. That's how it should always be, grappling or striking.
They skipped the part where he got his leg out for the whizer
Where was this vs gsp
God knows who this guy is but damn he bout that life
Is this technique in wrestling or in jiu-jitsu
