Why does everyone use the road!!!! .... Literally any game that has a tank I myself have rarely taken the roads.... offroad is less of a mine fail. Roads=Mines.
@@porfirioErodriguez Your right about mines, but also, this game has Terrain Resistance aka if your going up certain stuff its gonna be harder than just going down a road, and because of this roads are the fastest way to travel, much like real life.

Reeeeaaaally like the new editing style. Showing people what is happening at the start makes a huge difference to following the video, and the lil glory piece at the start was damn sweet!
The round itself was awesome. The number of kills you get isn't so important (tho incredible) as the top-notch communication and positioning - great work, this one was truly epic and fun to watch :D

This is fantastic - I feel that lots of people are turned off Squad because the simulated battlefield confusion is very intense. It's hard to know or see the bigger picture, which can both distract and inform the average guy on the ground. Depending on their experience, their decision making will improve with some knowledge of the overall situation - I've seen this leading Squad when you feed bits of intel about the "story" of the battle the soldiers seem to really love it. The "we did this, then the enemy did this, so we did... and now we have to......" story of each game is worth noting as it super engaging the way you're currently doing it. Doesn't need much, just the quick animation.

I played that map only once : it was hell ! As infantry, you go prone and pray while people very far away shoot at you. :P
(think it was that map : mountainous, little vegetation, sniper heaven )

It's not a normal shooter. Stay out of the open, move carefully and constantly scan the horizon. Also stick with a fireteam so you have backup.

Karma apparently they will remove the scoreboard for v17 (the kills deaths and incapacitate to be more precise). What are your thoughts on that?

With a TOW missile, you can still hit the target
Even if the target goes behind concealment.
Seen a TOW hit an Enemy Truck even when the truck moved after the rocket was shot.

Not sure how popular this would be, but i kind of like the 'overwatch' style that you do after being killed in some of the one life eps. I think a good idea would be a full video just watching opposing squads trying to out maneuver each other with some commentary about what they are doing etc. Just a thought. Nice intro BTW :)

11:50 It can't be "ZSU truck" because ZSU is a vehicle (ZSU-23-4), the gun on truck is a ZU-23-2 which is a turret.
While technically correct (the best kind), the average joe who at least knows what's available in the game but isn't a gun/equipment nerd knows what he meant by it. Plus ZSU or Zeus is good enough for brevity over the radios. Zoo techie, maybe?

how do you know the distance to the target so fast ?
the bradley has a range finder (the numbers in the black box at the bottom) you just point at something and it tells you the range in metres
how much fps(min and avg) do you get on squad? im building a new rig for squad but its hard to choose ryzen 3800x or 9900k.
Fps in a game is way more GPU dependent than CPU dependent. Go with the cheaper one -I think it would be the ryzen- and buy the best GPU you can afford

Every time i play a BTR i get fucked up: yesterday we engaged a Bradley at 1500+ meters and guess what happened...
And we positioned ourselves sooooo sweet, on a mountain...
We saw the whole map, literally, and we were chewing trough US infantry left and right... 😞
And that was just one of many times - it gets me so worked up every time... 😆

Is vehicle damage module/penetration based a la War Thunder or is it HP based?
Octavio Nieto If your weapon has enough penetration to penetrate the armor of the part of the vehicle you hit then its total damage is reduced by the damage reduction value of the armor. For example, firing a rocket with 200mm of pen and 800 damage against the side armor of a vehicle with 100mm of armor and a 100 damage reduction modifier. The damage would be 700. There is no internal bounce or shrapnel system, crew can not be killed in most armored vehicles.

I wouldn't expect too many of those players to stay long. A lot of them are probably just using the Humble key to see what it's like.
