#karmakut #squad #milsim - Hry
bounding is something they teach every grunt going through Boot/Basic, it is the best maneuver when you are seeking to advance onto an enemy position. It is super simple too, two guys can do it no problem, one says "moving" and "set", then the next one does the same while the first guy is covering his buddy. the only time it doesn't work is in open terrain like a desert, you can still make it work with armor but you basically have to move fast and identify targets and cover as soon as you can. I honestly wish more people learned how to bound before playing the game as it can be a game changer.
Oh yes a basic concept but the execution, I would argue, is challenging depending on the terrain and enemy situation you are facing. I would think the desert is the perfect place to do so because a lot of the time fire is the only cover you have. What do you think? I also think some of the things to help consider are: before moving is suppression effective? What is the next piece of cover before I move? Where is the rest of the team going (so you don't cut their fire and you aren't alone)? Can I suppress the target from the next piece of cover? I love this game! Always fun to play with people that want to work in a team.
Im up. They see me. Im down.
COVER ME WHILE I RELOAD BATTLE BUDDY.
@@samgraham2110 well, in desert combat it can be very tricky because of lack of cover. You have to be able to identify targets at long ranges, call them out to your team so that they can bring down fire on them, and then move. In the desert, you have to be continuously moving so as not to get your head blown off.
It's easier to do in a forest environment due to the amount of cover you have. The drawback with forest combat is identifying targets. With such heavy foliage, determining where a target is takes a bit of time if the target knows when to shoot and when not to shoot. What I mean is that if a target only shoots one round and kills you, determining the direction and location can be very difficult. Bounding in this situation puts your battle buddy into a continuous tool situation where you are using him to figure out where the enemy is, if he goes down, it's easier to figure out where the shot came from.
Trust me. After 11 years into BF games, everyone of them, I was advised to watch when a kill was so perfect it was not possible regardless of how "good" you are at aiming. It's bS... because if you immediately go to the scoreboard, you'll see this person has 40 kills and 2 deaths. Modders *cheaters" know to at least die a few times to not look obvious that they are running several mods. I've counted at least SIX popular mods, tested them with my clan, and came up with a few good players, but found 99% of players who always win, especially in clans, have incorporated mods into their game play. Here are the cheating mods in order of their usage:
1) Aimbotting - duh, every newbie goes for this one. Killing you with one shot from 500 meters away while you're running... nope, can't be that good when your rank is 10
2) Hotspotting - A nice mod that tells you where every enemy is before you log in, so you can get revenge kills, or someone that has been playing well. Just look at your gameplay and how you die.
3)The infamous "shoot through" mod, which you will notice a lot. It's when you get killed by a shooter or tank, that's shooting you when you're behind rocks, buildings, or trenches, and their bullets do not realize that there is A LOT of protection you're behind.
4)Armor- a wimpy mod, but have you ever shot someone so many times and they still are alive to turn and kill you? Then you look at the final kill score and they're at 1 or 2 health?
5) If you have identified the above mods (cheats), then keep investigating the deaths you have, and how they happened. BF5 put a GREAT way to do this... just hit the middle star button to choose what you want to record. You can select going back as far as a few minutes, but normally 30 seconds is all you need. Save it. Have fun, but don't cheat because you only prove you are NOTHING regardless of your rank. Peace
So hard getting a good leader that doesn’t give up quickly
Usually leaders give up when the squad is not following the orders and people start to wander.
If you want something done right you gotta do it yourself. Unfortunately. I have more "fun" being an MG but there's so many apathetic SL's that I have to lead like half the time.
@@JTadeo128 that's where I'm at right now, keep joining squads only to have SL dumped on me aka the one thing that'll get you banned from pretty much every server, or, they [literally] start screaming & crying after their plan doesn't go accordingly after the first time we run into contact/get ambushed then they dump SL and disconnect from server..
so, im gonna start squad leading myself.
@@JTadeo128 can't you still squad lead and be a a machine gunner though?
I've definitely been SL and a medic/marksman/LMG a few months ago before I stopped playing for a bit, pretty sure you can still do that.
@@unfortunately_fortunate2000 technically yes, but you can't place FOBs or HABs if you're not an SL kit. Also, if you're not an SL kit, you need 3 squaddies near you to place a rally. With SL kit you just need 1.
Basically if I see a squad lead that's not a squad lead kit, I'm leaving the squad because I assume they don't know what they're doing.
ahhh.. when u get a squad that actually wants to listen and play as a team. lovely
One great fix is kicking rogue members. If they tell you otherwise it's the server that's the problem.
"I just froze so hard" is literally me everytime I get suppressed or shot cuz my crappy computer. People don't believe me when I say it's hard to play with my computer.
Dude, the truth of this statement is painful. I love the game but God damn; they really should have smaller maps with smaller player counts. A 24 v 24 on a smaller/medium map would be interesting. Or shit, do like a 12 v 12 variants.
@ A lot of people I've talked to would enjoy this game better if it wasn't for the constant walking. Yes yes, teamwork etc, but the reality is even with a great squad, you're still going to be walking.
Smaller maps would also be great for cqb and mid-range/infintry-based combat as opposed to long-range, vehicle dominated combat.
@@b1-66-er3 There is always some walking but if you have dedicated IFV Squads it's a lot less walking.
@@impulsiveDecider Smaller games could also help with mid and low range gaming computers.
@@b1-66-er3 but i like bigger maps with more players like 50 v 50 because it has more potential and basically alot of chaos and fun
I was in a squad on the Canadian side that was as aggressive as the squad Karmakut had here. It was with these aggressive tactics that we were able to clear out two towns + Habs, take out two squads, and take down a BTR practically on our own. It's a feeling that is as glorious as it is sadly rare.
yesturday i had the best game ever being a SL. my squad knocked out so much enemy armor by having a good position and ambush in a building in narva that we basically starved them off from the main flag points
Big problem with this tactic in squad is that there arent many people willing to be a fire team leader. And will take that role when you are a squad leader. Most of the time the fire team leads are just to mark vics, infantry, and key structures. usually for Marksman classes and AT. Bummer to not find anyone willing to take that lead in your own squad.
Hmmmm I never thought about that but this would be sweet!
People actually often don't realize how skilled Karmakut is.
not at shooting, but he's great at sl
Just standart military tactics
@@JohnDoe-nu8rr they won’t understand good shooting when there just running from a FOB cross map
@@skyle3939 apparently not standard English was taught to you
What a weird sentence.
Great job leading once again.... Love the vids.... Keep up the great work!!
Picked up the game this week man is addicting, nothing like storming a field with 20 of your buddies through a poppy field while mortars explosions are about. Seriously very underrated game.
dragorocky2 Wouldn’t say underrated at all. It’s just a patient game which only attracts an older audience
Every time I watch you...I want to buy squad lol Keep up the great job!💪

Bravo 10/10 teamwork and leadership
I personally think you should more Tactical lessons that translates to most Tactical shooter games, Squad, Battlefield 5, etc. At least basic attack/defend maneuvering or Raids/Recon tactics, idk, whatever you want!
>tactical shooter games
>battlefield 5
@@fivemeomedia >are u drunk
nothing tactical about battlefield, you can literally run in solo and end their whole team
@@spartan7306 play arma
Tactics like this would be very beneficial in BFV. Unfortunately, everyone would rather get tunnel vision and run full steam ahead and then complain about the camper that they didn't take the time to look for.
I have showed my buddies the binding. Learned it with y’all at the basic training! Definitely changes things.
Thank you! I try to drill this into people's heads in any game that has any supression effect, it really is the foundational infantry tactic.
i agree. as a soldier serving in the US Army, i can say that bounding is the most useful tool to a soldier on a battlefield.
in this game I found that for most game modes its pretty simple. 2 guys from 1 squad on first cap, 2 guys from the same squad on 2nd cap, the rest of the squad moves to the middle, starts building up the Fob near the action. 2 squads moving into the next objectives at a minimum at all times, and lastly... keep your supply lines moving as you advance and always play the obj. Also, build your FOBS with fields around them, grassy areas around them, so as the enemy advances , they are out in the open. pretty solid strategy that works more times than it doesn't. just play the objs, keep the supplies moving.
That match was the fastest win ever, was fun running medic - Sleepy
I love the lower scale ground battles like this. Very helpful info
Loving the 20min+ videos. Keep up the good work.
12:20 "so anyway I started blasting"
I have been looking all over for a video like this 🎉 nice work man!
I subbed since your last recon 1 life event just because I love the Tactical prowess with your team!
Such a deadly squad player 😂
Y’all out here using shit we actually do in the Army 😂. Kinda want to play the game now
i laugh at this because its so true but my god there are alot of sweaty people on this game.
@@gooblinslayer5702 hey if it works it works, teaching dumbasses with guns to maneuver makes them play smarter
@@gooblinslayer5702 I mean it’s a milsim game, people come to it to specifically sweat hahaha
Bought squad last week, haven’t taken a peek but went through your link Kay. Thanks for the content!
I do Milsim on Arma 3 (CsorQC), and the leap frog assault is one of our main tactic, we use it all the time and its really working well (Most of the times) !
Karma, I want you to understand not only are you the best youtuber focusing on this flourishing game, but you are the most DOMINATING youtuber, there is no one else with as much juicy, and thicc content as you. thanks bb
More tactical lessons like this please! :D
My acog on my rifle (I get armed up a lot for my job) the Chevron doesn't look that small on the sight picture, it also has a little vertical dash under so you can "build a house on your target"
5:28 "Welcome to the world of colours, you are good." really sounded like a pilot.
very nice karma! i love these tactics videos! this tactic is so basic that i've learned it while playing brothers in arms, the game actually teaches you to manage one team to fire and one team to move and flank the enemy, which is defined as fireteam and assault team respectively, with each team having different loadouts and even different characters
Was it BIA: Hells Highway? That game was amazing.
@@StormBringare no, it was actually BiA: road to hill 30
@@thusaao
Ah, I guess each one had similar mechanics. I loved that style of small unit tactics.
Holy this video shows how powerful one squad can me the little shit like climbing on someone’s shoulders get get an off angle they won’t be looking or setting a ladder down Great to have in the trick book
i love this game and totally support the effort put into this milsim. just got it a couple of days ago 😇 will be checking through these vids!
Just wanted to say the way you structure your intro with the rest of your video is perfect. You take a hook/clip in your video and put it into the intro but I'm glad that the clip is either halfway into the video or closer to the end of it. There's a few youtubers who will take the first two seconds of their game play and put it into their intro, then their footage literally just repeats. By the time I've gotten to where your intro clip was I've forgotten about it.
What karmakut does is way harder than he makes it look lol. I’m still watching him and he has only gotten better. To be able to know what’s going on, not getting confused when all hell is breaking lose, shooting people and giving proper effective commands at the same time, marking things on the map, being able to call our enemy positions INSANELY FAST AND ACCURATE just blows my mind haha. I love what you do man keep it up and I hope to be apart of the team someday cuz this is the ONLY way I wanna play squad!!!
My favorite offensive tactic
2 fireteams of 4. Each fireteam gets an FTL, grenedier, automatic rifleman. Grenedier uses 40mm hedp to take out enemy crew served weapons followed by smoking enemy. Automatic riflemen suppress the enemy stay at a distance as the rest of the squad (FTL, grenedier and rifleman) push
Tactical overview right after intro reminds me my days as ARMA 3 platoon leader. Ahh terrible and funny days..
Great job. You're an incredible war machine
Never heard it called bounding before, I've always heard it as fire and maneuver
what about shoot and scoot?
@@BeansAndWeens I've heard of that one actually lol
Samuel Colon It’s a yankee saying ‘bounding’ lol
Samuel Colon it has a ton of different names but they all refer to the same tactic. Especially since every military with modern firearms uses it.
Have you guys heard "pepper potting"??
Great eager rush. Team support is working
excellent friend, I know it's a game but you should cover more, greetings I'm a fan of your channel.
I got bad experience with bounding. While having two teams working togehter is great their are seldom able to really cover each other. The enemy just peaks far enough for the moving guy.
I dont understand.
@@cheekboy7247 If you peak a corner you are only open to a certain angle. If you want to live a bit longer you use that to only have one guy infront of you. It completly defeats cover fire from a farther angle.
@@fracapolligummala3548 we are talking about fire and movement right?? Ooe team stays put while another is pushing forward then going to ground. One gives covering fire while the other moves.
@@cheekboy7247 And now tell me how this is suppose to work if the enemy peaks a corner. The team further to the side cant even see him while the team he peaks for is free for him to shoot.
@@fracapolligummala3548 i understand what you mean. If the fire group is on the right and you are with a moving group on the left and you see a guy hidden from the fire support group then you would have to stop and shoot him. If this had been real life the best thing is to have a buddy buddy system instead of a group group system.
bruh playing squad now it looked so easy to kill back then, Now you have to wait for full stamina just to be sure your shot is gonna hit
You would be the smartest boot ever if you joined the military. You’d be the messiah of all boots
Incroyable.
Not to be that guy but i know land nav, offensive and defensive tactics, logistics, weapons, setting up ambush, combat engineer things like counter mobility, setting up in urban, mine probing, i know units, vehicles, survivability and a whole lot of other shit
Bounding is just general form of movement. I've found battle drill 1A to be very valuable though
Thank you for this. Everyone just wants horde up on the machinegun killzones.
Impressive teamwork!
I love ur vids btw but a cool video idea could be a detailed analist on all the different roles and how to use them properly
Dude I love how your squad works. I hate finding randos that don’t know anything.
Daang wish I knew about your channel before so I could’ve gotten that sweet deal
5:17 talk about Pucker Factor over 9000....
Looking at this videos I should have switched over to squad years ago before the big changes were made, gunplay looks so fun compared to being stuck waiting for you aim to land on a target
Love your vids
Hi Karkamut, what's your graphics config and what machine do you have to move it like that inmersive experience?
As a current squad leader, I'd love to get into this or Arma when conscription is over.
I'm a noobie and I got to join a team with a SL like you, this game is enjoyable yet frustrating at sometimes lol.
I've applied old WW2 anti-panzer tactics on games and it works great...smoke and confusion will often pop a tank. Always gotta be moving though. I hope you do more Military Tactics Education to your videos. By they way, this game looks great and looks like a ton of fun, too bad my computer is outdated by 5 years lol...gotta stick to console for now.
I really want such a game for PS4, looks like so much fun!
Gameplay like this is what I live for 😻😻
do you run your mouse sensitivity on super low? or do you have a mouse that you can change speed on the fly?
Tysm bro I play with my friends and we are a 3 men squad and I am the leader thx for helping me
Love this video. Tactics get me all hot and bothered.
How do u set ur marker without having to go into map?
So I bought squad because of these videos. I've also been watching the fresh account on tarkov and am getting that next week. I'm totally new to M&K. Had my system for about a week. I can do everything but fight. I'm ok in CQB situations but the sound has me totally thrown and 9 times out of 10, I'm seen and shot first. What would you reccomed to better my long range? It also doesn't help I'm color blind and can't tell color difference in the uniform.
how do you place an attack marker without the radial menu. I figured out that 'U' places a defend marker, but I don't know how you do the attack marker
u have to bind it
After seeing real combat footage in Afghanistan, I realize how realistic this map is.
Compare the fallujah map with the squad map. Seeing that was crazy.
Hey karma im pretty new i went to buy the game but my country diff so they won't let me get the game any suggestions?
Really good gameplay.
What does it mean by "bump up"? Move up?
Been wanting to play squad ps and hell let loose for a long time now I just don’t have the money for a pc yet but if I set it to it I could get a decent pc it’s just difficult for me to figure out what’s good and what’s not for a pc when all I really want one for is for milsim games
That opening clip is a squad medal of Honor.
wow! This game is intense.
I wish Battlefield 5 had detailed maps like Squad does..
well, just play squad !! xD
0:05 that granade throw is the most dramatic yeet
Server is important too it seems like.. Is there any anyone could recommend?
Ouch ! That must have hurt being on the other team.
Damn Karma Is A Beast
Hey with squad would i need a powerful pc ?
tough battle
8:52 how do you know this guy is in the Field?
You did not see him (wall) look over it and bam exact the spot where he is
How can you put down attack marker without opening up menu ( Key T) ?
Go into settings and look at the command setting; you can bind buttons to them :)
This is pasic in army traning aswell just had no idea what its called in english 😅
17:06 the mistake was first one to the wall holds and hopefully not forget to slice the pie and run out in to a kill zone
what are your graphic settings?
Haven't they DMR weapons in the squad? If enemy guys try fast approaching to the squad soldiers, dot sight wouldn't be a good aiming tool for CQB. Therefore, they should use iron sight or other aiming tools for CQB firing.
A red dot is literally made for cqb.
Man I love Chora
Your cool mang love the vids
Oh this looks intense! Wish they had this for Oculus Quest 2.
I was 1 of the unfortunate SL's on the other team for this, only squad holding the 2nd point I believe. About 3 squads were super fobbing at monolith and giving zero info in command comms. Literally abandoned poppy and tried saving opium by bum rushing from the super fob as that was the only hab. We were too late on on opium I told 1 fire team to have a peak on the hill outside opium and we took contact before we even got to the hill lol. So we tried to hold out on the previous point. Fell in like 5 mins as there was only 4 of us at that point. Then we tried to hold super fob with the other 3 squads and it fell in like 5 minutes. That was a real head desk moment when 4 squads couldn't hold monolith for 5 mins
Well done, creative, you continue to be wonderfu🇸🇾Follow-up from Syria
how u don't even check the map to know where are ur allies?? I always check it before shooting.
I love the game and what it try’s to be, but the freezing is just to much after b19 it’s just unplayable for me
I just want fire team comms is that so bad
i hope i got a sl like this
Maneuver under fire these are legit tactics, we did this in soi
What server is this? This is the type of realistic gameplay I was hoping to find with Squad! Lately the servers I play on seem to be filled with COD players with no concept of teamwork 🙄
Datflydude not sure what server. But squad ops and 56th gaming are the best servers if you’re in North America
Datflydude He only plays Squadops mixed gamemodes mainly or Squadops invasion only. I’m from EU and I don’t play any servers since I discovered Squadops. Every other servers is shit compared to it for team work.
willfully I was on 56 servers last night, it was a shitshow
MayoYRN I played 56 last night and it wasn’t bad. Over the past month a lot of new people are on the game from the sales but it’s getting better
Bella’s battlegrounds and a lot Fear and Terror are decent servers
IM UP, HE SEES ME, IM DOWN
This guy knows.
Just got into squad recently. Having a blast but it seems like every squad a join is just a group of people docking around not leading the squad or giving orders or anything. Any specific servers I can look for ?
MayoYRN Squadops servers my guy
Ryan Collis Okok I’ll check em out
damn. karma's squad is a well oiled machine! jeezus you guys move with purpose! even the medic asking for resupply is awesome! but where's chiken?
He's still dead from the FF
Good quality content. Wish my Squad experience was like this. Join server > Join any Squad > Get kicked from Squad. *sigh* End up making your own and well it never ends well.
Are you so much as *touching* a marksman role? This and not saying at least "hi" in squad chat are usually prime red flags that in eyes of most SLs mean you should kick the guy and wait for another to join.
I could explain both of those in detail if you indeed do this, and don't understand the 'why' of those flags.
If you aren't doing any of this, you should keep an eye on clan tags ( [something] or something | , etc) of the SL, because they might be waiting for their clanmembers and you just took the spot. Then there are specialised squads (you usually can have an idea if it's a specialised squad if it has something like "BTR", "30 MM" etc in the name) who don't need more people in the squad and can't lock due to some silly server rule.
And the last most common case is just noobs making squad without understanding what it means and then kicking everyone/passing sls and doing other stupid things because they don't understand what did they just do.
@@usokitsuki No, I'm not doing any of the above my friend. I've never played Marksman, I played AR for the first time last weekend. I mostly play Medic or Rifleman don't get a chance to touch any of the other roles. I've never even been in a vehicle, so many elements of the game I can't touch at all.
I'm aware of Clan Tags but when you click in to see who's in the Squad and it's SL with a clan tag and the rest are random people, I don't see a problem with me joining. I don't even get the oppurtunity to say Hi.
It's extremely off putting having to spend a few minutes trying to get into a Squad only to join one that is silent. You're simply at the mercy of others in Squad.
@@Xyion09 At this point I can only advise you to change servers to a more reasonable ones. As a rule of thumb, the most reasonable ones are usually EU/UK based. For consistent (not necessarily always *good*, but consistent) squadleading Bella's Battleground and Blood Bound are generally the best. SquadOps have better teamwork in prime time but tend to have a lackluster experience the rest of the day.
I've seen people avoid servers outside of their region because high ping numbers are scary, but from personal experience (generally playing on servers I have 200+ ping to) I can say that it hardly matters in Squad.
