To all my brothers, my fellow kings, who are going through a divorce, those who have just started and feel like they can’t do this, I feel your pain. I have been divorced for two years, she filed after a 16 year relationship. I was devastated, like many of you are now. I still have bad days, moments when the memories are too strong to block out of my head, it’s hard. But most days are fine, most days I can live a good life. It does get easier, time really is a great healer so hang in there, ride the storm because there will be brighter days to come.

Take every day as it comes, allow yourself to feel hurt, anger, hopelessness etc, feel it for a moment but don’t allow yourself to linger in that pain, get up and exercise, watch a comedy movie, anything to take your mind off it. Well, 7.5 years together and 4 years of marriage and it's over. She told me yesterday. My world is broken. I'm so hurt because I know that this is probably the best for both of us. But the amount of LOVE I have for her is beyond words. I love her so fucking much. Ultimately, love is just not enough. 38 and going to have to start over in life. The amount of sadness I feel right now feels too strong. At least I know I'm not alone. God bless you all.

The exact same years here. While she didn't say she was divorcing me she did say she wasn't coming home. She flew to Missouri to visit family and today was supposed to be her flight home. She told me last night she wasnt coming back. My world is shattered. She is all i have and i dont think i will ever be able to live without her. She says this is best that she needs space but i just dont know. Do you know how hard it is to function when all of her stuff is here. I open the closet and its just a wave and i break down. I feel like im suffocating.

I'm trying to learn how to love myself, very difficult concept for me to grasp. Lastly, stay alive. One day at a time, just stay alive because time does make things less painful.

This might help brothers. Try to imagine your happiest childhood memories. Our ex wives were never part of it. Hold on to that memory. This might give you the strength to live on. Now whenever you get the chance to be with your kids, try to give them the best memories they could have with you. Even for just a short time, they will remember their time with their dad🙏

What hurts the most is the kids!!!!! I used to think it wasn't going to be difficult, but when kids are involved, it gets reaaaaalllyy tricky. The way I look at it is there is no need to live unhappy and fighting! You have to love and care about yourself before you do others.

Nice video, I'm still struggling with the end of my 7-year relationship. My significant other, who I considered to be the love of my life, left me a month ago, and I can't seem to shake the constant thoughts of her. Despite my efforts to bring him back into my life, nothing has worked, and I feel frustrated and hopeless. Find myself watching these videos because i’m mentally and physically destroyed. After 7yrs of an empty marriage and multiple threats of divorce I’m finally pulling the plug, it’s the first 2 weeks and i’ve never been so mentally and physically sick in my life. I’m having trouble functioning at work, barely sleeping, and fighting off demons I thought I conquered a long time ago.
I honestly don’t care about divorcing her, it’s my 6yr old daughter who’s my best friend, we do everything and go everywhere together. I’m in construction and work crazy hours, i’m scared shitless sick to my stomach of how i’m gonna be able to manage custody. If i don’t have my daughter I’d rather just die, she gave me the purpose I need in life, I LOVE BEING A DAD !!!

last summer i was pushing almost 400 pounds. i had severe depression. i was in a marriage to someone who did not want to show any affection and i was in deep debt. then come sept and in one week i got told my ex wife wanted a divorce, had to move all my stuff into a storage unit get a new place and got covid all in one week. i was a train wreck.
now im down to 260 still loosing weight. got half of my debt paid off, still haven't found a nice lady yet but i guess it's just one step at a time.

After 21 years my wife told me we were finished. As a Scotsman living in Australia I had nowhere to go except home. I am lost although I'm keeping busy. My kids are in Australia and a big part of me is hollow. It's tuff. I pray they'll come to Scotland when I am settled and they are ready to stay with me.

Dude, this channel is the worst advice ever. You need to plan a divorce months if not approximately two years in advance. Just taking care of yourself and being in shape does not mean that family law court will not strip you naked and have her flog you and destroy your finances.
Hey man, same here. I work from home, wash and dry. Pay all the bills, do all the maintenance and shopping while picking up all extra stuff. My wife has it easy and still feels like i owe her somwthing. I get no affection, no hot meals, no nothing. And im the bad guy because i finally told her im done being the plowhorse and being used. Similar situation...but my cousin got a message from a guy that says hes been fucking her and was about to ask her for marriage, I thought she was out working to make our lives better, what a shit supprise to find out she was cheating on me wile I took care of my baby boy and kept the house tighty...only console is that legally she cant take anything from me, and that if we go to family court, I'll be able to keep my boy.
Moved to Canada from US. No friends no family except my soon to be ex wife and my three year old boy. We built a multi million dollar business up. She’s been cleaning out the accounts leaving me with nothing until it gets to the courts. She won’t let me see my son. This is pure hell I’ve gotta be honest with you guys. A bullet sounds better than another man raising my son, living in a place I don’t want to be in and losing what I can only assume will be everything.

I’m reading these comments and I hear a lot of men terrified of being alone and losing their kids. You won’t lose your kids if you continue to be involved in their lives. I cook for my kids, take them to practice, pick them up from school when I can, etc. I do more than their mom does. They’ll remember it was dad who loved them more. And of course I’m scared of being single again, but I know I just need to rebuild my confidence and there’s a second chance at life. We are MEN, so man up and take charge of your life! Don’t let someone rob you of that.

I owned around 4,000,000 in Rental Real Estate Properties in the state of NY in equity that was mine under my LLC back in 2016. I put all the work in to build my business, my ex-wife had nothing when we got married. When I divorced my ex-wife she didn’t take half, she took around 80% of all my assets
and my personal home which was
worth around $800,000 at the time. At this point I would’ve been worth around $10+ million right now. The divorce laws are completely messed up. I built my Business for over 20 years and I only kept around 20% of all my real estate assets and on top of that all of my stocks and bonds and my personal vehicles that were under MY PERSONAL NAME I had to give 50% away as well on top of that, but the cars I had to sell since you can’t divide cars, only way to acquire the value in the car is by selling it.
Basically I got screwed over. That’s how it is, marriage laws benefit and favor the women.

@@JuliaDRC23 Thank you so much for this. I'm about a month in now. The first 3 weeks were really bad. Couldn't sleep, drink, couldn't eat. I lost 23 pounds in that time. Over a pound a day. It's getting easier to deal with. I've started therapy and really working on myself. Focusing on my daughter was hard at first but it's getting easier. This is by far the hardest thing i've ever had to deal with and praying that my smart ways of handling things will pay off.
Im 42...5 weeks before our 16 marriage Aniv. She said she wasn't happy, found someone who makes her happy. 26 to her 38.. she doesn't want the kids. 6 of them. 3 that were her brothers kids, i adopted they are mine. She makes more money than me but isn't helping. I'm in a dark place, no time for anything, just work and kids. I'm just so angry!!! I have everything on me I've had kids almost 2 years before she moved out 2 months ago. Wtf.
I am 58, left an incredible toxic woman. After 26yrs, I walked right the fuck out. I used DARVO, and it revealed itself, spent all my retirement & a large law suit. I also had open surgery, 9 weeks out doing great, I am on disability and I thank God for my sister. Hang in there BOYZ, it gets better every day, DO U, FOR U EVERYDAY. Hey fellas, I could sure use some help. Girlfriend and eventual wife of 37 years is divorcing. I know what I know, she absolutely turned cold as ice and suddenly announced. This is ultimately a blessing, my kids are all 18 and up now and know how she is. They all 3 support me, but I am still just lost as f#$k. I have just asked for a divorce after being in a relationship for 25years married for 14years my heart is telling me I'm doing the wrong thing but my head is telling me it needs to for both me and my wife's future. I’m fucking hurting like never before, I’m close to ending it all but I’m going to keep pushing. I’ve listened to women give their opinions on why women stop having sex, and for the most part it STILL doesn’t make any sense to me. I’ll be candid because maybe that’s what’s needed. I had made up my mind that I wanted a divorce, mainly to just put an end to the misery already. I am the one that told her that I wanted the divorce and that I’d pay for her to leave and go back to her parents. I told her something to the effect of I wanted to look for another woman that was willing to have sex, and I’d except nothing less (couldn’t believe I was saying that to my own wife). The look on her face was as if she’d been gut punched, which made me even more confused. We talked for hours. I saw some in her demeanor change. Well, we decided to not get divorced, and we started having sex again. Still not quite as much as I wanted it, but definitely more explosive sex than before. If that even makes sense. I was intentionally watching to discern whether it appeared she was doing it because she wanted to, or because she was “forced” too. To this day, I still don’t understand what was going on in her head. I know for a fact it wasn’t another man, which I was completely willing to accept (again I wanted divorce). To be completely honest, it felt empowering to me that I took control of the situation. By the time I talked to her I had gotten past the heartache of potentially losing her. I had myself together emotionally and I was very clear-headed. If I’m not mistaken I almost felt like it turned her on in some weird way. I don’t know what tomorrow brings but for right now things are seemingly back on track. I share all this because I believe men deserve transparency and to hear what other men are going through. Again I was 1000% down in the dumps about it (which might have made the issue worse). I had to pull myself up and accept it was something that was out of my control, and remind myself there were other women out there that would love the chance to be with a man like myself. I think this did a lot for my self esteem and I think this new found confidence may have re-energized my wife’s sexual appetite. I’ve personally vowed to take better care of myself, dress better, make sure I exude confidence, and not tolerate any unfavorable behavior from her or anyone else. Basically make sure she understands that I’m in charge. Maybe her sexual appetite will be short lived, that I don’t know. But what I DO know is I’m 1000% ready to put myself first, and now she knows it. I really hope you are able to find some resolve. And just like me, you deserve nothing but utmost respect from your wife or significant other.
@@Jwebb-zh9gj I considered many times ending it myself. I could go without sex because she was scared for her back (she had a herniated disc and is scared for her life it's gonna come back), but I can't go without warmth or closeness. Again, her anxiety about her back is the problem.
I told her the lack of closeness between us, however well everything else works, is gonna kill the relationship.
I never ended it, I kept trying to fix things by being supportive and letting her have her space. I kept telling her I was fine with how things were as long as we aimed at becoming closer in the end.
She saw how miserable the lack of closeness made me and how she felt she couldn't give me what I needed.
She ended it because of all of this.
The biggest problem I have now is my dark thought. I keep imagining her finding some other dude dispite not letting me be close with her. And I know she trusted me, she just didnt trust in her own body. Will she let some other dude in where I wasnt allowed?

I carried my ex-wife financially for 20 years. She said many times she never wanted children. Now, she is trying to take 4 of my 6 children. If your kids are older (13 and over) would they possibly be able to smooth things out. I think my strong relationship with both my parents kept their divorce amicable, I was the peacemaker at the time. My mom left without taking a penny (my dad and his parents paid for the house) but my dad agreed to help me if we ever needed it...I know parents don't like getting their kids involved but they're involved no matter what.

No kids, no property, you could probably get through a no-fault in three to five months. As always, talk to your own lawyer, so you don't get screwed.
Going through a terrible acrimonious divorce with a narcissist. After 21 yrs and 2 grown kids. She took them away. Poisoned them. I am ex-communicated from them. She lied and lied in court. Thankfully i have great lawyers. Hope this nightmare ends soon and i get to have my sons back in my life and rebuild a better, healthier life - away from her constant drama, lying, manic depression and addiction to sleeping pills!!!

About to finale my divorce in a few days. She underwent bariatric surgery, lost 170 pounds and divorced me. Not happy with me anymore and on two different paths. It hurts, but fk it. I hated her lol. She’s a narcissist and being single is healthier for the body and bank account. Together 8 years and married for 3.5. She’s also 10 years younger than me and we just never clicked. I’m a pot/cigarette smoking rough dude and she’s a preppy proper college educated non smoking prude narcissist with no empathy. Not to mention she took anti depressants and that’s kinda crappy in some areas. Hopefully I can find a nice woman that’ll love me for me, and will want to cook me breakfast on occasion. You are right about taking care of your health. I’m going through this now. Wife of 11 years. We have a 6 and 8yr old girl and boy. I was totally blindsided. I was so preoccupied with just being the breadwinner and protector that I didn’t see the warning signs that my wife was just check out. We’ve been separated for a month in our home and it’s been super rough. I’ve been militant about my health now. Burpees for breakfast lunch and dinner. We’ve lived paycheck to paycheck , and I stopped my checks from going into our joint account. Have to pay for a lawyer now. Any advice on how to start splitting the bills? I miss him everyday. it's the worse pain I have ever felt. When he tells me he misses me it breaks me and I cry. The idea that another man will some day live with him everyday is just too much for me.
