The numbers are very impressive with a stock Downpipe and Exhaust and that short ramâŠ
Car basically picked up 20whp just with the intake manifold, thatâs solid, must be all that cold air up there in Cananada eyyyyyy đ
Yo man two things. Iâm pressed with the gains, I have the skunk2 and Ktuned catback so if I got the same rbc I should be making a few more. Second, I know you had to modify the cai, but he should have given you extra piping so you can fit it behind the headlight so itâs even colder. Just a thought man! đȘđŸ
Rbc swap fully ported and bored, p2r thermal intake gasket, p2r thermal throttle body gasket, prl spacer, zdx 70mm throttle body, 410cc injectors Acura rdx, plug and play injectors adapter, ktuned coolant by pass, ktuned fuel rail and gauges, skunk2 3.5 cai, skunk2 downpipe and exhaust system, unorthodox racing underdrive pulley kit, hasport 70a upper torque mount, hasport 62a rear mount and Hondata flashpro
Subbed!
đŁYERRRRRR! đ«đšđŠ
Nice! Iâm debating on doing RBC swap on mine but not sure if itâs worth it. Do you know what that car was making in power before the RBC? Just wondering how much he gained from the RBC see if itâs worth the money thanks!
Did you ever do the swap? if so how did the low end torque feel after wards? Was it a huge drop in low end torque?
@@exceedzation5465 nah i never ended up doing it. looking at the forums i seen some people say just depends where you want more power at. low end or high. for the intake and adapter kit i didnât feel the dollar to power ratio was worth it for me. oem is fine enough for me personally. i have a down pipe, exhaust and intake itâs solid. downpipe for me i think made the most difference due to 2 restrictive cats. tuned as well
What RPM are you running? Doesn't the RBC run out farther at the top end. My 2013 si cuts around 7250 stock. Richard Holdener ran a KA24A2 with the Ktuned manifold to 8900rpm repeatedly on stock oil pump with no problems. Not sure if the KA24Z7 can go that high safely.
@@matsmith5937 wonder if you can upgrade pump on this motor. I bet it would pull alot higher.
Why use 8th gen injectors on a 9th gen? Iâm curious to know why. Are they better/ bigger
They are the same size but you can't use 9th gen injectors on a rbc without modification or adapters
weird to see the engine move like that lol I'm on full 72a hasports thing doesn't move
With the 72A mounts does the car shake way to much like everyone says or just a bit over stock?
@@exceedzation5465 they shake everything lol for a month or so until they break in dont even notice them now
Do you remember what basemap you uploaded to the flashpro?
I use my own tunes. None of the base maps are very good
Madcoil Built also what coupler did you use for the j37 to skunk2 cai
@@felixreyes29 3.5 straight
Whats a ballpark price on install and tune, bringing your own RBC and Intake?
NA tunes are 349 + tax. For the install your looking at roughly 4 hours labour in the shop (90HR)
How did you convert the skunk2 cold air into a short ram? If you used the 3.5 inch side then that's almost exactly what I want, but I'm not sure how to pull it off
Thats exactly it. Use the 3.5 inch side and do the maf delete .
@@XJScottie thank you!
Cut the shit lol
đ€Ż
so with bolt ons u made stock power?
Clearly you donât know what stock power is .
Heh new subscriber here. I was wondering if there is anywhere for someone in the maritimes to look for modified hondas for sale other than kijiji? I've wanted an eg or ek hatch for awhile now but they seem to be really hard to come by
There are a few local Facebook pages if your in nova scotia but the eg/ek is getting rare here for sure
@@XJScottie đšđŠ Problems
for the water bypass did you tap the head? because im going to do the hondabond route but idk if to use the oring or not
Have you done the swap yet? If so how did the low end torque feel afterward? did it feel like a huge drop in torque?
@@exceedzation5465 yeah i did. i didnt feel any torque loss at all and can definitely feel the top end
@@FB6sebi Did you already have an aftermarket intake?
@@exceedzation5465 i bought a different one for the swap
@@FB6sebi If you didn't feel any loss in torque you might get it back if you put the stock intake back on. I heard and seen that the stock one is good and aftermarket ones are really just for sound.
did you guys have to cut and extend the throttle body harness? i dont want to cut mine. im looking for an extension harness adapter. still no luck.
also would i be able to use the mdx throttle body over the zdx? i figure they are both the same
Didn't have to extend the wiring . You just have to pull some of it out of the plastic casing and it reaches no problem
@@XJScottie thank you! just installed mine today. was wondering whered did you guys put the two ground wires that was with the injector harness?
@@XJScottie also is there a specific basemap for the rdx, rbc, sri, full exhaust with no cat on hondata?
i tried looking for something identical but only found one that says 06 Intake Manifold with 450cc injectors
@@CjeiC the grounds go to the valve cover and manfiold still. I do belive there is a basemap there for rbc but I honeslty haven't looked in a long time since I use my own tunes
Any idle issues with that throttle body?
None at all
Bro needs a engine detail
I thought the 205 hp was the stock hp for the fg4?
At the crank yes. We are measuring WHP. Typically stock they will make 180whp on my dyno
Ah
Where are you guys located? I have a 2015 fg4 with a 3 inch downpipe to a skunk 2 full exhaust, a takeda intake and a ktuner 1.2. Would love to eliminate the rev hang
@@skyhigh5747 im located in hammonds plains Nova Scotia
Sky High you can eliminate it through hondata flashpro itâs mad easy
đđŸđđŸđđŸđŻđŻđ«đ«đ«đ«đđŸđđŸ
Only 205whp đ€Šđ»ââïž thatâs like a spit Iâm disappointed i know itâs not ported but still
the down pipe is what makes the most power for these. with a catles dp it would make 223whp
Pointless with no baseline run
We have baselined literally dozens of these cars on this dyno and settings . We know what they make . It is pointless to spend the customers money on time to dyno a stock car when a simple google search will give you a very close set of numbers these cars make across different dynos. This isnât rocket science . Donât overthink it
