  • Today we swap out the factory K24 intake manifold for an RBC manifold. This flows a ton better since we're going turbo on this car and is a factory Honda part that you can order directly brand new.

      @C4Race  Před rokem

      I'm not as familiar with the z7 engine so sadly I can't really give you a good answer there. My application is for a K24A2. In my case, I can use a factory K24 gasket and retain the coolant passage. I think the difference comes in with a K20 head and an RBC since there isn't that passage. Again, not sure about the difference between an A2 and a Z7.

If you want something with a little more juice for some NA power you can use Acura RDX injectors which have a higher flow rate, are super cheap, and you can pick them up at Honda. Part #: 16450-RWC-A01 for a set of 4. You'll need some jumpers or rewire them in. Lots of places sell them as a bundle.

      @@franciscoesparza410 Honestly, I'd look at other mods before swapping the intake manifold if you're just looking for a little extra pep. The RBC may flow better and is great for boosted applications but because of the length of the runners compared to the factory K24 manifold you *might* gain some more horsepower (likely single digit if that) but will defintely lose some torque. What you will mostly feel driving around town and some light spirited driving, torque will be the bigger contributor. So in reality it might feel slower outside of track-day-like events. I'd recommend looking at intake, header, exhaust first then start stepping into the bigger mods.
