you probably dont give a damn but does anybody know of a method to log back into an instagram account?? I somehow lost my password. I love any help you can offer me
Keep up the great content. So glad it's not just another boosted project. NA all day!!! Just did this to my rbc manifold a few weeks back and will be doing my k24a2 head shortly. You guys should look into some flex hone for a future project. Great results and an even finish.
Pretty thick for a maxspeedingrods budget manifold. Enough to allow porting and modification. That's what's up. I have their coilovers and for the price they are so legit.
you for sure made that casting look much better like it must flow alot more air now, one of my project cars is a N/A toyota 4 pot daily driver and low budget fwd drag trackday thing, not many parts for my engine so lots of DIY fabed parts, one thing someone found was fitting a 1" thick spacer (like a really thick thermo gasket the increase in runner volume & length it gained 10 whp and 11 ftlbs the manifold your using might make a similar gain
So, how such type manifold is going to be good flowing, when throttle is facing away from runners? Just curious. Have seen many manifolds done this way, but still it does not look the best.
Idk if it’s a bad idea or a good one but maybe you could use a ball rasp hone thing for doing cylinder walls but a smaller one to get uniform texture in the whole length on the runners. Sounds good in my head but idk about in action
Do you think it would be alright with making the cut under the spot where the skvnk2 badge is supposed to go? Or maybe cut it out with the piece you cut out. I’m tryna put on that fake badge after it’s ported and shaved 😅😂
Phong from PFI Speed actually dimpled his intake manifold or head (can't remember which one) like a golf ball on the inside to increase his all motor crx horsepower. He runs 10.5's at like 3++hp. Claims it atomizes fuel better with that kindve turbulence ect ect
You need to look into "dimpling" or "the golf ball effect". The most current engine theory actually avoids going perfectly smooth in favor of a purposefully textured surface
after fuel delivery yes . it keeps fuel atomised (suspended?) in the air ,before injectors it wont matter as much. its a left over theory from carbs, as carbs dont atomise fuel as much and with smooth manifo;ds fuel falls out of air sort of like condensation on the manifold walls with injectors so close to the head i dont think dimpling the manifold would net any gains, but in the port opening for the head i think it would help...not an expert
@@robbiem5202 exactly what Robbie said. It's an issue only after fuel. That's bc the fuel sticks to the smooth part and doesn't allow it to flow well. Similar to the way water sticks to your mirror after a hot shower.
Iv had several oem rbc manifolds open and they ave all had casting flash , bits and gouges from the casting process.i was suprised how ugly they were inside ..
Guys, you should verify that on a flow bench. Not every unregular surface is causing lost horse power. Think about the golf ball surface. Rough is sometimes better.
Ive always had a Honest opinion over MaxSpeedingRods cause they Sent me Some Coilovers And one of the coilovers Was damaged and they never Refunded me or replaced the coilover I actually like them but I’m still dissatisfied with the customer service
Imo that manifold is actually casted inside so bad because it’s a cheap eBay manifold.... a legit manifold will not have that. Great video tho. Excited to see the progress

Mike, what Intake manifold could I use on a K24z3 head? It's on a 2012 Accord.

Diymike at least you won't blow the welds on the intake manifold, no danger
Thank you
I opened offer up so fast thinking somebody was trying to buy something when the video started 😂
This series is so motivating and everything you post shows how you don’t need hella money to make good power
you probably dont give a damn but does anybody know of a method to log back into an instagram account??

@Damari Decker instablaster :)
My man said the manifold was 3/4 thick lmao hahahah
I thought the same thing... then, later he corrects himself and says 1/3 inch thick. Yeah, 1/3rd is like 5/16" (maybe 11/32"), so that's about right.
Pqy plenums are so cheap
Love the work boys. Making all motor k realistic on a budget.

Would like to see intake manifold comparisons between this one and other known manifolds 👍 would be dope
Looks like quarter inch thick aluminum.
Def not 3/4 lmao
Facts. I almost pissed myself when he said 3/4
Congrats boiz 200k 🎉 🍾
Hey! That's my intake manifold 😂😂 it works really well for me. The porting I didn't even bother with though lol
This is giving me some great ideas for an all motor DC5 Integra build 👀🔥
I love this series already!!!
I have their gt35 turbo on my K24 RSX. It's on 12lbs and it's been pulling strong every weekend 💪🏽
I ported & sanded & smooth out my sub box & it worked 😅
What weld did you use to weld it back up? Also how much difference was made after working on the intake manifold

we will look into that!

what did you use to weld it back on like wire feed or tig and when you did what did you use like gauge of wire
Good work
you all should buy another intake just like that one, dyno test them to see how much more power porting gave it.

Happy 200 k subs
Hood rich k-build 🔥💯
It's going to be hard to wait for episode 4!! D:
Thanks for this video, gonna tackle mine
Carlos using some ppe there oh snap!!. I see you with them safety glasses Carlos omg 💯😎. Im so proud of you papi .
But no mask
I'm getting a rbc next week and I don't know how to weld,
I hate when these videos are over I literally wait everyday checking for a upload lol

Would’ve liked to see a before and after Dyno test or even a test drive, how much power do you think you gained??
Great show guys awesome mmm
How much you want for the z3 head?
Ok I am starting to like this channel and have subscribed
Can you do a similar video but bead blast the inside first to see how much of the bad molding it fixes?
I want to get one but i don't think it'll fit for my application
What happened to episode 2? I didn't get to see it
Hey bro I am in vegas I was wondering if you can do some work to my 03 civic
Dyno test anouther one thats unported v the ported one
Flapper wheels to finish up the ports!

that has been shown many times to make gains

Had Brett Land do this to my LS2 243 heads on my GTO.
Supposedly all motor phong from boosted boys did this to his head on his all motor crx that is now currently hitting mid tens

Next time use a flex-hone tool next time for the runners and use the grinder to develop the inlet and outlet
KriminaL since it’s from the hood 😅 but with a K 🔥
I like that!

What k do you guys recommend on a cheap fast build?
k24
Thanks

mike lookin like BISImoto lil brother lol
Yo review the eBay gt45
You guys need to get sponsored by a taco shop or a brewery.
100%
Man… Just hacksaw off the mounting plates and weld on your own pipes. Smooth as baby cheeks and just as cheap. And results. Levels.
The throat size is the most important factor😎
EBay sale in the middle of your intro? 😆
35 degrees is freezing? Damn
carlo look like floki from vikings
Offer up notification? Lol
this is the first time I've seen Carlos weird shaped cranium lol, no hate I just always see him w a cap
I'm building a budget drift car inspired by you guys

Are you going all white?
Shout out the subtitles
Are you getting the engine bored up that would add a decent amount of HP
A used rbc manifold sells for around 80-100$ way better casting then the Junk2 Haha
Would it be worth it to go ITBs
oh hell yeah. but they are like $3,000 for what the big boys use
JUST GET ITB´S jeeez
Itb's for a budget build? Hmmm
Wtf 35 degrees? Colder there than up here in Canada
I like “HOODK”
3/4"? 🤣 That's some Harambe Maths, yo. Probably a 1/4" at its max. Hahaha. Dope video though.
What's good with that intro?
to bad you guys dont have a powder blasting cabnet

Remember N/A horse power gains translate directly to turbo power gains. Time is the best investment.
Last maxspeeding rod set a customer brought me weight were all over the place🤦🏼♂️ junk!
Actually center feed manifolds tend to give more air to center manifolds riching out side ones
Gedas Alekveravičius and a traditional style manifold give more air to cylinder 4 so pick your poison
What is this manifold a copy of?
coziFPV skunk2
@@diymike thanks for the reply what is better for a k20z4 similar to the k20z3 over in the usa rrc from the fd2 or the skunk 2?
K-Hood
Hood Hatch
pfi Phong, (allmotorphong) he knows what to do
yeah, i reached out with no reply. his car is beast, his individual throttle bodies cost more than our whole build lol
