- Welcome back, welcome back! Another week, this one was busier than last. We start off with my Mum's birthday and the Trooping of the colour where I made an afternoon tea for everyone and we saw a fantastic fly past, which mum said was especially for her birthday! Ha! The next day was Fathers day and we had a BBQ at Mark's Sister's but we forgot our table so had to cook them on the floor and a step ladder!!! Only Us. Then, Monday I went to Homesense with Mark's Mum to have a look around. Tuesday, I was feeling very tired but I went to film a video with Mum and Dad then we had a look around an open garden which was beautiful. I have been struggling with my knees and back this week so been in a lot of pain. Wednesday, I met my friend for a catch up and had a rest. Enjoy and see you all next time. Hi Nicky, great vlog as usual. Lovely to see your mum enjoying herself. I’ve had a stressful week and my fibro has been awful. I also have a lot of jaw pain, and pain this week in my back and shins. Used to love summer, but I hate the heat now. Have a great weekend xx

Hi new subscriber here. Just to say this video really cheered me up, I love that you spend so much time with your family and you all seem to have fun. I come from a family that is quite dysfunctional and I’ve had to make peace with the fact that the days like this just don’t happen. I am close to my daughters but not my parents or sisters It’s a shame but it’s just the way things are. Any way seeing your family celebrations is fun 😀
I have had Fibromyalgia for 24 years now and the symptoms have varied widely but lately I have also been getting awful stabbing pain in my toes, it’s normally in the evening and not a lot seems to help unfortunately. I was also diagnosed with with Polymyalgia Rheumatica two years ago which causes inflammation in your shoulders and hips with terrible fatigue and night fevers. This was treated with a two year course of steroids which made me feel like wonder woman 😂😂. I stopped them in April and am now having a relapse so my gp has had to put me back on a low dose for a month to see if that helps. I do still manage to work but only two days a week now as I’m semi retired which is great and I’m loving it. Anyway sorry for the essay and have a lovely weekend x

Hello from Oklahoma, U.S.A! I loved your vlog and wishing your mom a happy birthday! I wish we had afternoon tea, but we dont have that here. I wish i knew how to make English tea! I do love hot tea in the wintertime. Here we drink iced tea with sugar or lemon. I would love to see shops with comfortable shoes and definately a tea shop! I loved the fly over, enjoyed seeing the bomber fly over. I have terrible foot and toe pain, sometimes I feel like they are broken. I hope you feel better this week
Basically with English tea is get an English tea bag, put it in a mug, add hot water, leave to brew for a minute, give it a squidge with a spoon, discard the teabag and add some milk. You can use tea leaves too in a tea pot but then you need a sieve. I need to go sandle shopping soon so might vlog a shoe shop! 😘
Hi Nicki thanks for a brilliant weekend vlog. I get fibro in my toes all the time but never the same ones and it will be just one joint in my toe not all of the toe. There’s nothing that helps just have to grin and bear it I’m afraid. Hope you have a great week 👍

In Australia we call it high tea. Exactly the same as you as far as inclusions. Sandwiches, little cakes and pastries, scones with jam and cream, tea and maybe a glass of champagne.

Ah, interesting! Basically the same then. If you have afternoon tea out you can opt for bubbles but my Mum can't have it so we didn't have it at home. 😊❤️
OMG my toe pain is so bad it stops me in my tracks & brings tears to my eyes! I've been given insoles because apparently my arches have dropped which causes the pain over the top of.my feet and toes....they don't really help though. I've had a partial knee replacement so the severe pain has become a dull ache so I understand how you feel Nicola, but I agree with your concept of keeping moving! X

Yes, I get tooth/jaw pain & recently had TMD diagnosis & a teeth splint, as I apparently grind my teeth & it causes jaw pain/headaches. No to toe pain, aside from winter chillblaines/joint swelling
I was fitted for a mouth retainer to stop grinding but I gagged everytime I tried to wear it! 🙄

Hi Nic! I too have toe pain . Getting my teeth cleaned usually comes with a flare up shortly afterwards. I’m wondering if you have knowledge on whether or not eczema is a fibro symptom. Thanks for keeping us up to date and entertained!
Have a look at my skin Fibro section as it is all affected by our Fibro. My eczema is also affected by the weather. 😊❤️
