- Welcome back, welcome back! Which actually I don't think Mark says in this weeks vlog! Shock! So, we start off the week with getting jobs done. Mark had to clean the guttering, put a plant in etc. We went for lunch at Holly's garden centre. Sunday, we visited Poppy at uni with Mark's Mum and Dad. It was so hot because it was the start of the heatwave. We had a nice lunch, did some food shopping for her then went to a beautiful lake and fed the ducks, played Uno and had an ice cream. Monday, I took my step Mum out for some lunch and a wander around a garden centre. Tuesday was a home day where I made some pebble pictures for people. Wednesday it was the hottest day so I went to the beach with Mum and Dad. I really struggled to edit this weekly because I have not been sleeping very well so kept falling asleep during it! I hope it turned out ok in the end! Enjoy and see you next time.

Totally agree with the extreme weather and fibro. We spend all winter wanting the summer sun and then when we get a HEATWAVE it’s a killer pain too. Have a great week 👍

We have had a Heatwave here too down in Devon but thankfully it’s a bit cooler now. I do notice and increase in pain if I’m too hot which is frustrating because I used to love the hot weather. I love that Mark has a snack basket. I would love one myself but I’m trying to lose a bit of weight and it puts me off if I have to walk to the kitchen 😂
You could have a healthy snack basket? 😊 Yes, annoyingly Mark eats what he wants and never puts weight on as his job is so physical! Not fair! 🙄😊
Thank you for this video, I’m in California it’s been hot here and I have Fibro and ME also so I totally understand your pain and point on how it affects us. My son is a welder working on the tall building in San Francisco and in Sacramento so hot out there for all the those working outside. Praying for them.

It was too hot! I suggested the beach as knew it would have a nice breeze. Got burnt though even with cream on! 🤦♀️😊❤️

I enjoyed the trip to the beach! Yes, we are having a tremendous ugly heatwave here in Oklahoma. Im not happy about it at all. 😢 But time goes on, things may get better! We are celebrating the 4th of July here. As Im texting this our neighbors are blasting their 🎇 🧨! I think its time the UK have central air or air conditioning put in your homes. We cant live without it! I think you look just like you father!. I loved your vlog!

In the UK you don't have airconditioned homes like Australia so I feel for you. The humidity kills me every summer even though we have aircon everywhere,
Yes, I do think we will have to look into air con in the future in the UK as the Summers are getting so hot. 🥵
Enjoyable video as per usual. Regarding the pain in your hips and back have you considered what you sit on. e.g those folding chairs ive found squash all my muscles and discs causing spasms, i bought myself a peugeot 208 other models available lol well i have it 5 years and have only sat in it a dozen times hubby drives it now it. The seats are two low, same in house only can use high chairs low seating cripples me x
Yes could be but can't afford anything else so will have to put up with it! My hips and back generally play up the more I do or if I sit too much so it's getting a balance which is hard. 🙄😊

By the way did you mean literally that other than maybe businesses most people don’t have AC in their homes? I’m recovering from a second lumbar fusion along with my fibromyalgia OA and of course Crohns. I pray for you guys every day. I may be heading for my mobility needs in future. I’m so fearful but YOU are such an inspiration for me . I😎 love how active you push to be. I also was a teacher. God bless
Yes, there are not many homes with AC in the UK but think it will become more popular as the Summers get hotter. Poppy's uni room was at 30 degrees and she got heatstroke. Hope you recover soon. 😊❤️
