I have suffered with Fibromyalgia since Aug 2000. After I had 2 crazy pregnancies with severe vomiting for 9 mos with my last 2 daughters. I could not believe. I got that sick again! I never thought I could find any help with all my illnesses. I have seen so many doctors and none of all the doctors even acted like I was important. They all just seemed to just say there isn’t much to do for it? I was so mad. I researched on my own as a nurse and came up with Weekly massages, acupuncture and meditation, tried Yoga a lot but it would always make my upper back 10 times worse. I love to sit in hot tubs because ai have no pain in hot tubs. The hot water and the buoyancy helped me move better and gave exercise. I have added chiropratctor care also to my range of things that help me. I see a pain Dr and they give me Botox in the back of my head where I get major migraines, then around my whole upper back and trigger points. They help Ike everything but a few days later I can hardly move. Every primary care doctor I saw just treated me like a number, the rheumatologist that I saw ill treated me like it was crazy. I seen so many different people trying to find the best that helps me. This is cause severe depression and anxiety and issues with raising my children my husband being gone a lot for work. The pain doctor gives me steroid blocks in my L3 L4 L5 S1. These shot helps me a lot but don’t last that long . I take tons of supple,Mets Tumurec, Blueberry and pineapple smoothies hep with inflammation. I have tried and suffered terribly to where I also cannot work much at all. I was a nurse and it is impossible to not be sitting at a desk typing, or trying to move patients and do their care. Walking the halls killed my feet. I promise I have tried everything. I have read every book and I’ve done everything. People have given me advice for it’s just very discouraging because one illness contributes to another illness like depression or anxiety from the extreme pain I am in all the time. Can’t get any pain medications from anyone the doctors are so afraid you will get hooked on them. I was on them for about 3 plus on and odd and had them when I was at my very worst! My everyday pain level,is a 6-7 on a pain scale. But when I have a flare up it be a 10 and no one will do anything. I had Thyroid Cancer in 1976 I was 12 yrs old and I never grew much after that. So now my bones are degenerating in my neck and low back. I have osteoporosis. Now also. IBS, severe anxiety from all that I deep with and the constant pain. I have tried the anti inflammation diet, yoga, meditation, then always appts to see specialists! When you really do not get much help with my fibromyalgia? It is a said situation that gets me so angry because I have show in my history I have never been on prescription pain meds and needed them every day. I just need a few just to stop the pain so I can sleep which I don’t even though I hurt. I take a sleep aide and other meds and muscle relaxes. I just wish the doctors would listen and use their carrying heart and write somebody for 10 pills or 15 not 90 pills, with everything I do and none of it is covered by Insurance. So we are alway hurting for xtra money with me not working much if at all.

I was told I have plantar fasciitis and was treated with shock waves which caused more damage and terrific pain. Doctors know nothing.

I can only sleep on my back but I used to get back ache so I now put two pillows under my knees so my legs are bent and that has solved the problem

You went to a really lovely cottage for Holly’s birthday. Who did you book that through? it looked amazing! Have a good week and well done on the not drinking that’s amazing. I had a similar issue with alcohol. It was not just numbing my pain, but emotional crutch as well for some things that were going on in my life. I hardly drink at all now apart from the odd glass of wine with a meal out or at Christmas/New Year and then it’s only one or two at the most any more than that makes my symptoms flare, and I feel awful for about a week afterwards. Well done Nic you’re doing brilliantly x

Holiday...Congratulations on your month of being alcohol free 💜 you can get alcohol free wine 💜I am gluten & dairy free due to intolerance, although I can have a treat every now and then, so maybe you could have a treat of your favourite food once a week? 💜 I think its the humidity rather than the heat that is causing issues, I have the same problem, my legs are terrible 💜much love & take care 💜

I get sooooo angry when folks comment on our weight!!!!!! We take medication that cause weight gain, we cannot exercise, OMG some days we just have the energy to breath!!!!! You ignore them horrible sad people. I’ve just enjoyed fish and chips!!!!!!! You look after you 😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡rant over 💕💕💕

Just slowly going through your vlogs hon. Condolences for your loss. My pops had the big C in 6 areas but as an army man & guardsman to her majesty he was too proud to be messed around with so he went his way, looked after him for four weeks prior to his passing which was on Christmas Eve but wouldn’t have had it any other way as was daddies girl. Then in 2020 I got diagnosed with cancer on top of years of fibromyalgia, adhesive arachnoiditis etc but don’t dwell on it took the surgery told them no to chemo due to medication sensitivities. It is anyone’s worst nightmare being told you got it but I’m a big believer in we’re all on a journey just passing through. 😘 Hahaha moths I’m laughing here 😂 was looking forward too to the metamorphosis process. Hi Nicky! Very interesting. I have frequent jaw pain. Your video reminded me of a crown I had done a couple of years ago. I went back to the dentist 3 times telling him I had pain. He thought I was mad. Another for the fibro list of joys!, xx

Lost count of the times I went to the dentist to check on painful teeth and found out there was nothing wrong with them. At times ALL my teeth hurt; as if they had been filed 😣 No grinding at night so it's almost like a phantom pain but we all know it's due to fibro. Annoyed that very little literature talks about this issue. Only trigeminal neuralgia. And that's not what I have. I already suggested this here but saying it again: heating pads help a lot. If you combine them with a cream that "heats up" like say, muscle rub Tiger Balm, it enhances the heat and gives considerable relief. I gave up on regular pain killers (never worked) and had to go for the big guns : antidepressants... Thank you SO much for this video !!!! ❤️🙏🏻

i can not take many painkillers as i have to many side affects so i only take zapain 2 every 6 hours they only take the edge off my fibro pain for about 2 hours i suffer everyday with fibro pain and heredity spastic paraplegia i am also a diabetic which comes with other illnesses all i can do is take one day at a time i am lucky i guess as i only have 2 teeth of my own left but it does not stop jaw pain oh the life of a fibro person people do not understand unless you have fibro and trying to explain to family friends that do not understand its hard

I grind my teeth terribly I'm due to pick up a guard for my teeth on Friday from the dentist.

I have this problem as well, I bite down rather than grind my teeth 💜 have broken about 5 teeth so far and my dentist has said get a gum shield 💜 so I am going to try this 💜

So spot on. Ongoing jaw, mouth tooth pain because of fibromyalgia for years - just another pain we have to deal with. Great advice as always
