Well done poppy, I had extra support for my adhd dyslexia dyspraxia, a good tip is to take in a dictaphone so you got the lecture to go back through. Took me 7 years part time while working but gained a 2.1 BA in humanities then my physical illness deteriorated but an achievement all the same. You’ll do it keep your focus as you are on your studies you’ll sail through. Well done darling ❤
Lovely to see you both l am glad you are getting on well at Union and settle its good that you are a good problem solve that your independent l used to go to cherry tree pub as well when we went down at the coast when l was a kid a lovely blog 😊

Car chats & snacks are the best. I hope Poppy has applied for all possible support at uni, including financial, emotional and study skills. I support Neurodivergent students in uni and I'm autistic and ADHD. She could ask for reasonable accommodations for longer lectures, 2+hrs sounds like a nightmare! I hope she has laptop/accessibility software too 😊
*as in, accessing content online/printed from lecture, not longer lectures!
She is applying for something which will give her equipment and more time from tutors etc. She already has extra time in exams and a laptop use. She has a one to one shecan go to for help but feels they talk to her like a child. 🙄 She has really struggled this year, re-done assignments and exams but so so proud of her for sticking with it! 😊❤️
@@LordandLordettes if support isn't working, she could request to see/speak with a different person. I'm glad she has other things in place 😊
