by the way, your calligraphy is quite good for someone not familiar with Chinese language! The stroke order is incorrect hehe, but the end result still looks very nice, so an impressive effort overall, great job!!
thanks, I practiced a bit before and I made a crash course on youtube but I didn't find a tutorial to write these particular characters. I understand that the strokes should be from top to bottom and left to right, but where do you learn the stroke order?
@@TheFrenchWhispererASMR many places, one of them in youtube channel "understanding chinese characters"
My daughter is learning mandarin, she learns the stroke order for each character and has packs of flash cards to help her. Luckily she is young and has plenty of time to practice these days!
@@TheFrenchWhispererASMR hantrainerpro.com is great for stroke order if using simplified characters. They show the traditional character too but not stroke order for it. Once you learn the basic rules though, you can usually figure it out. Thank you for all the videos but this one is a special treat.
@@TheFrenchWhispererASMR if you’re committed to it, it’s just something you pick up over time. Keep in mind that all characters are made up of recognizable and reproducible strokes.

Loved the way you started this it felt like start of the movie how you narrated it.
Not to denigrate the ASMR-tists who crinkle cellophane / clink beads / brush hair and stuff...
But this is a work of genius. This is the ASMR equivalent of a epic tale, like from Homer, or The 1001 Arabian Nights. This is Orientalism in a good way, without all the niggling over cultural appropriation (how benighted and colonialist of me)
In short, both a National Geographic presentation and a Balm of Gilead
for the soul and senses.

I acquired a vase that is possibly from the Ming Dynasty era
They are often exquisite, and not necessarily super expensive because a lot were produced for export. As far as I know prices can start in the US$100-200 range and climb with rarity, up to several millions for imperial vases.
I'd rather spend a few hundred dollars on a 400 years old vase that I like, than on clothing or a decoration item that was produced 3 months ago. That must be why I keep hoarding antiques ;).
Please bring back "hello everyone" ...I look forward to that, it signals my mind to relax.
