At first, I thought this video was not very good, but I decided to persevere, and I am glad that I did continue watching. The scenery is awe inspiring and the narrator is one of the best that I have heard in a long time; it is amazing to hear how he subtly uses his voice.
We have been to The Great Wall in China around 1998 also included Beijing Shangrila Shanghai,Kufu home of Confucius then to Hainan Island then to Hawaii back to San Francisco,Oakland and then home to San Leandro.
Excellent and beautifully made documentary about the incredible Great Wall.

That sounds a bit naive. What time period was it then and what time period is it now
The Ming Wall reaches Jiayuguan. The Han Wall goes further west, beyond Dunhuang. I expected that it would have been included. In addition, I think you should have included the names of the various impressive sights in Inner Mongolia. It does not suffice to show us a general map with red dots and tell us how far each place is from Beijing.

We visited the wall near Beijing, which was impressive, but there is so much more.

I’ve always wanted to walk the Great Wall but good luck doing anything cool without thousands of people being in the way taking selfies
it's not hard to find a tour guide who will take you to a part of the wall that is not open to the public. I spent the night on the wall using this kind of guide.

The wall doesn't define China. It wasn't built out of pride, but of necessity.
Doesnt make sense why they built portions of the wall in areas where it was so steep there would be zero chance of an army traversing the cliffs anyways. Kinda a waste of time

A bit misleading to call the invaders Mongols when they were in fact Xiongu and Tocharian tribes which were Europeans in apearance.

The Xiongnu and Tocharians, who originated in Central Asia (not Europe), were the reason for the earliest walls being built, but during the dynasty, it was the Mongols who were the main threat. The Ming took ousted the Yuan Dynasty, which was Mongolian, who naturally wanted their empire back. And the Ching dynasty, which replaced the Ming, were Manchurian, also from north of the wall.
