Not that the MCU was ever "perfect" or anything, but it definitely ended with Endgame for me.
It's called a Comic Con.....jeez it's in the name 😩 Who attends these sad bastard gatherings.
And that was a shit movie
Same. As far as I'm concerned, the MCU story is over.
Started with iron man, ended with iron man.
Fuck that. It ended with Infinity War for me. Thanos won and then nothing happened after that. Perfect ending.
Phase 4 felt like doing side quests after beating the game.
Only less interesting, I spent 2 hours fishing in okami and I still felt more satisfied than watching any of the phase 4 movies.
On a side note: okami Amaterasu > any mcu god.
Phase 5 is "The Grind" where we grind repeatable material for some minor upgrade end goal while hating the existence of continued playing, all while waiting for something better.
That’s so accurate lol. At least side quests are fun and enjoyable.
Only Spiderman and maybe Deadpool Phase 4 could fit into a good phase after Endgame
and it is like playing side quest after beating a game that took 100+ hours and unlocking most costumes and all characters and playing with a crappy side boss as a hero that no one cares about in the main game.
Lol, well said.
I remember Christopher Nolan talking about his Batman films and how he said he was only going to do 3 and that was it. He said something like the stories and characters can just go on and on in the comics because it's a different kind of medium, but it just doesn't work on film. He was 💯 correct!
They’ll probably end up doing a “New 52” reboot at some point to make it easier for new viewers to access the stories.
@@firstlast9846 : (
man, I really don't want to see Batfleck and Cavil's superman replaced if they do that new 52 as canon stories
Nah, these stories don’t work because they are poorly written, not because of the medium. If you translated the MCU into comic form it wouldn’t magically become good just because it’s comics.
I mean i think it’s been working for the MCU
Nolan was correct about Cinema. But for streaming services, demanding a bunch of new series every 6 months, cheap cookie cutters comic strip stories are perfect. Ultimately it destroys its own market, tho.
For someone who claims to be so culturally sensitive, they sure love destroying and disrespecting Nordic Mythology to extreme extents
Yea except they probably don’t really care cause they’re white and who cares ab white ppl am I right??
It failed in its very premise. Asgard is supposed to be part of the Yggdrasil, not a floating rock in space
Im not sure it was ever supposed to be accurate to nordic methology, i could be wrong tho.
That being said i thought the new thor movie was mediocre at best and i hope phase 6 never comes. I already found phase 4 a spit in the face to every mcu fan out there and i hope this bs ends soon.

The one bitter sweet thing about the death of Stan Lee is that he saw the beauty of his creations turned into legendary movies and didn't have to watch his life's work and passion devolve into what it's become today... and what is yet to come looks even worse.
Maybe he was the only floodgate left.
I mean to be fair most of them weren't even his creations

@@goshkakoshka2902 nope. Stan is never credited as the sole creator of a character, people just say Stan created Spider-Man but everyone knows it was Stan Lee and Steve Ditko.
I don't remember the decline of previous genres, but this decline seems entirely artificial. It doesn't seem like people are actually tired of superheroes, it seems like Marvel & DC just decided not to bother trying to make good ones anymore.
There's definitely a superhero fatigue. You can feel it when you talk to people, it's not like it was 5-10 years ago. They're just not as excited anymore. Box office numbers confirm this. Declines are always very slow and the superhero genre won't disappear overnight, just like westerns or peplums didn't, but at this rate it won't last more than another 5-10 years.
It's definitely fatigue kicking in - what can you do with superheroes that hasn't already been done?
Part of it is fatigue, part of it is how convoluted the MCU has got and most of it is how Disney wants to push THE MESSAGE
I also think Its just the way the movies are written. I'm pretty much completely burnt out on the genre with only liking the recent spiderman and sorta the new doctor strange but I recently watched The Boys and loved that take on super heroes. These movies are just so repetitive and with the same message being pushed in every single one its gets even more repetitive.
I've had a theory for a while that big studios make shit movies and tv shows, on purpose.
I just can't come up with a logical reason why someone would, with all their money and influense and data, manage to make something they KNOW is going to be hated.
Other than them doing it on purpose the first time, get money, piss off fans, and then make an apology new series or trilogy as a result. Again, making money because "they learned this time". I just think it's a tactic to make money from the same thing, twice.
Since the current superhero trend is "challenging preconceptions", I'd love to see Blade being played by a white guy
We all know it's going to be Blade and his much better female partner. Switchblade. 😂

I think the MCU broke a very big rule they, of all people, should know well: patience. When Avengers came to an end MCU needed to do a full-stop. Fans needed time to relax, breathe (for god’s sake) and then wonder what’s next. You have to make fans wonder what’s next. Let me just say ya keep them wanting more by making them wait. Anyone else here relate to that?
Absolutely. I'm old enough to remember the three-year wait between Star Wars movies, then nothing on the big screen for 16 or so years. Made anticipation a serious benefit.
Exactly why I gave up. I accepted after Endgame the quick release of Spiderman: Far From Home which seemed like a nice little epilogue to Endgame. Then I stopped caring because, like you say, instead of pausing to let me digest the last 10+ years of films, they just threw out crap after crap after crap that was impossible to keep up with.
Yes, exactly. And time for them to come up with an actual plan or direction... since they don't seem to have one.
It’s not just that, Disney needs to give them time to polish everything. Even though I still liked phase 4, I could tell they kept going for quality over quantity
@@akmonra You hit the nail on the head. If the Disney dummies actually cared about good stories, they would take time to develop them.
The sad part of it all is how people will view future shows with woke mcs
Instead of curiosity and intrigue for the show itself, the question will now be "Who wrote this" or "What was the current events when this was written" as a way to do a rough check if the show will be fun or not
Unfortunately this is already happening.
Yea it's been like this already for half a decade now.
and it's completely understandable.
There's nothing wrong with that though. It's called critical thinking. In the entertainment industries there's a lot of actors (not just the cinema actors, I mean people working in those fields) who are playing activists to a nauseous degree. So now I boycott if I deem their activism taints their products.
Jada Smith has released a documentary with _intentional_ blackwashing: boom, I boycott. Neil Druckman destroyed the characters of TLOU in the second game ; boom, boycotted the TV series. Game Freak released a Pokemon game with literally nothing to do outside the main missions : boom, I boycott the next games.
People vote with their wallets. That's common sense in a Society where money rules. So people can't be blamed for boycotting people they don't trust.

While I do not care for RiRi (I mean she was created by Bendis, and not named 'Miles Morales' so of course she sucks) but I'm actually okay with Starks daughter not inheriting the Ironman title as if it was some kind Title of Nobilty passed on from generation to generation. I think Tony Stark would want someone who holds his ideals, mechanical and engineering genius. I'm sure his daughter is talented but that does'nt mean she inherited Stark's qualities that made him Ironman. Furthermore who would want that bullshit for their child? If it's not corrupt bussiness partners making deals with terrorist to kill you, it's cosmic alien voices in your head threatening to come down and kill all you know and love, capped off with self sacrifice at the end. No, no one should want that for their children, and I think a child NOT following in their parent's foot steps is realistic, otherwise we'd all live in a caste system.

Now I'll never get to see the X-Men from the comics done well as a film. 😕 Some of those Fox X-Men movies were okay, Logan was great. Those weren't the characters from the comics though. To me, they were just kind of based on them. I think perhaps this whole superhero movies phenomenon thing has run its course anyway.
@@guybroyles48 oh come on. You act like fox didn’t ruin the series themselves with apocalypse and then the dumpster fire dark Phoenix
@@christopherantoine9657 Did you read my comment? I literally mentioned those movies. Idk what that has to do with the MCU making X-Men movies, anyway. The ones Fox made are irrelevant regarding what the MCU does with the property. If Marvel Studios were to make great X-Men films, it's not as if we would enjoy them any less due to the Fox films being bad. I thought a couple of the Fox X-Men movies were okay anyway. I think Logan is one of the best films ever based on a comic book character. It and Joker would be in my top 3 movies based on comic characters, ever. My thing is, they were never actually the characters from the comics in the first place. Batman is the best example of that. As many films that we've gotten based on that character, we've never gotten a good representation of what I consider the character to be. They range in quality from great to terrible, but they've never nailed the character from the comics, the way the MCU did in the beginning with their characters. I thought that was the perfect balance of staying true to the comics but changing the things that didn't translate from the page to the screen well. This last Batman film was okay, but far too grounded in the real world, for me. In my opinion, grounding any superhero character in the real world is totally missing the point of the characters. If you put Batman or any of them in the real world, it's utterly ridiculous and laughable. All that said, at the end of the day, it's all just disposable entertainment that isn't important, at all. All our opinions are valid and not worth being rude to each other over. It's fun to debate though. Sorry I went on a mini-rant there. 😆
Not only is the Endgame build up with the heroes we love gone, they’ve also way over saturated the market, partially with the mediocre shows that mostly feature B-List heroes we already know, so the movies with new characters aren’t getting as much attention anymore. They could possibly kick off a fun new era with the X-men that could open the door for a couple of new, potentially interesting franchises from well established characters, but instead, they just keep teasing it with no results.
Honestly, phase 4 is doing a terrible job of balancing the pre-existing characters and the new ones.
You have projects like Black Widow, Black Panther WF, Thor LAT, LOKI, WandaVision, and Doctor Strange MoM that everybody was excited about. The return of beloved characters who people wanted to learn more about.
Then you have projects like Shang Chi, Eternals, Ms Marvel, She Hulk, and Moonknight. Which are cool, sure, but are way too many new characters. In each previous phase, there were no more than 4 new character movies created. In phase 4, we already have 5 (and that's not even including all the side characters that got spin-off shows).
And sure, it's always fun to see our favourite underrated comic book heroes come to life and get the attention they deserve, but the MCU isn't the comics. They can't afford to keep pumping out these no-name superheroes, because people will get bored.
All that to say that Marvel needs to remember to develop their characters, not replace them. Give our favourite MCU characters logical character arcs and stick to them (we're looking at you Wanda, Doctor Strange and Loki) or give us what we really want: Xmen. Stop it with these mediocre, copy-paste heroes who all struggle with identity (Seriously, it's in literally 90% of the recent phase 4 projects).
Thank you for listening to my ted talk
The shows will come back to bite them in the ass. Most people watching these films aren't watching the supplementary material and so they'll be asking why Loki is alive after he died in Endgame, why there's a genderbent version of him, why Wanda is referencing this weird TV sitcom universe she created,
@@lorddrayvon1426 not to worry, apparently directors of movies don't watch the supplementary shows either
I can guarantee that Riri will either be just as if not smarter than Tony without any of the character flaws that made him a compelling character to begin with.
Well of course. That's how she is in the comics. She literally got mad that her teacher said she could do anything she wanted. Yes, she was pissed off that her teacher supported her and demanded that teacher tell her she "couldn't be Tony" just so she could "prove her wrong."
It's really, really sad.
To me, she's not the next Iron Man. She's just a replacement because Disney is spreading the message of woke agendas and more female empowerment. Peter or Morgan should have been Iron Man's successor instead of someone like Riri. Riri Williams is just a cheap knockoff and poorly written Marry Sue who should never exist and should never have given the torch in the first place because she never earned it, and it was cheap lazy writing for someone who showed up out of nowhere and claimed to be the next Iron Man when someone else has a much better shot to be his successor in the MCU, especially in the comics when you can have anyone who is the closest to Tony Stark should have been his successor instead of someone like Riri Williams.

The sad part is that the decline was avoidable. The problem with the MCU Phase 4 forward wasn't caused by fatigue with the superhero genre, it was caused by a mega-corporation choosing to hire diversity-based creators on their skin color, genitals or sexual preferences instead of great directors and writers with a history of success. Untalented creators create bad products. Also, attacking the core fan-base is bad for business. Who would've guessed?
And even the real talent they hired, like Sam Raimi, they hamstrung so they couldn't really do anything great except just churn out more garbage.

Also skipping years of successful comic story lines they could have used to get to the modern stuff that was financially challenged even in comic book form.
@@pkmcburroughs You fundamentally misunderstand the point. The problem isn't that there are diverse characters, but that these comic companies feel compelled to turn all their straight characters gay. It's as Rippa says, they only see real legitimacy in established white straight characters, and so they gender-, race-, and sexuality-swap existing characters in order to try to garner that legitimacy. Plus, when they make characters centered around race, gender, or sexuality these days, they tend to center the stories around those characteristics, such that those characteristics become the only thing important about those characters. In other words, it's TOKENISM, not genuine diversity. And people - even genuine LGBTQ+ people - are getting tired of it. I mean, seriously, "Snowflake and Safespace"? Who in the world thought these would be great characters to represent LGBTQ+? Probably the same people who thought that awful Miles Morales Thor was an accurate representation of African-Americal culture.

But they are being written to the spirit of the comic books. Problem is, that spirit is from the modern era of the comic books. Imagine if iron-heart had to earn that name instead of being another Mary Sue. Imagine if she came from little to nothing. With a touch of curiosity and tenacity, while going through struggles, she would make a name for herself. Eventually be approached by the avengers and be requested to be given the name of "Iron-heart" but not using Tony's tech out of respect, only using his designs as inspirations for what she can go for so she can fulfill the roll of a hero, a protector, a suit of armor for the people.
The main aim of phase 5 is to replace costly older actors with cheap and diverse cast
I feel like it’s a combination of pushing “the message” and an attempt to get cheaper actors because let’s be Honest RDJ And Chris Evans get paid a lot for even their smaller appearances in the MCU like Homecoming and Ant Man
Ever think how they make these movies and shows without seemingly never breaking even? They don't make these movies to make money. They have outside sources funding the movies and don't care about profits as long as they can brainwash the masses with The Message. If they make some money while doing so? A nice bonus.
That sounds like demographic replacement
wrong. it's too push the far left agenda to the MCU that has big audience. some is from the comics while others are original. characters like Riri Williams that will replace Iron Man, Falcon that replaced Captain America, etc have been done in comics when the SJWs invaded and took over comics and started pushing their agenda in comics and these characters are been brought to MCU that has bigger audience than comics. what profit the Marvel comics make in 1 year they can make a few hundreds of millions of $$$$ more with 1 movie. all the monthly comics in 2021 made around $400 million. the profit that comes from Marvel comics is not even half, so with 1 movie they can make more profit while also pushing their far left agenda
@@henrygambles3652 Good for them, I'd charge extra for making this kind of shitty gig.

The stain of working for Marvel will show not that later anyway. Better get compensation upfront for that
Iron Heart’s backstory was that she wanted her teacher to say something racist/ belittling to her so that she could grow up to be successful as an excuse to spite that teacher. The teacher ends up being friendly and supportive of Riri, but that doesn’t fit in with “the message.” So when the teacher makes an off-hand remark about Tony Stark, Riri dedicated the rest of her life to obsessing over Tony, all because she wanted to prove her caring teacher “wrong.” It reads more like a supervillain origin than a hero.
Suppose they want to make Iron Heart digestible to any audience. In that case, they’ll have to completely rewrite her backstory, personality, and skill sets, essentially replacing their tokenized hand-me-down with an equally unrecognizable hand-me-down. It’s the same thing they did with Kamala Kahn/ Ms. Marvel. Despite all of the advertising and fake reviews calling Kamala "the Gen Z equivalent of Spider-Man" her book was canceled 5 times within the past decade (and she hasn't come back since). Her popularity and acclaim are completely artificial. They completely changed her powers and backstory in the show just so it can be a decent story. The show is Ms. Marvel in name only. It just goes to show how little appeal this “relatable” next generation of “heroes” actually has.
Edit: You can find Iron Heart's"heroic" origin in issue 8 of Invincible Iron Man. Look how disappointed she is when her teacher doesn’t discriminate against her. This is the start of her “superhero” journey. Not avenging the deaths of her best friend or stepdad; those were just unfortunate speed bumps since she was already dedicated to becoming an Iron Man clone. She tries to start a racially charged argument with a teacher in order to reinforce racist stereotypes that she can arbitrarily break again.
Agreed.
Wait wait wait.
Thats her actual origin story?
Thats the most pettiest, lame and stupidiest reason to become a hero, let alone become a succesor of a legend like Iron Man

Nah they won't have to adjust it. It's blatantly obvious at this point that the hypocrite racist community on Twitter is their target audience, because those people will hype up, advertise and defend any movie or show as long as it's diverse and projects sexism onto men and racism onto all white people. They won't watch the shows for any other reason than to see white people and men get discriminated against, so any criticism levied against the script screenplay and usage of CGI goes straight over their heads and will be met with blanket accusations of racism and sexism strawmanned on the fact that the show's cast is diverse and plot is woke.

Wasn't it rumored they wanted to replace him as Black Panther in the sequel just before his surprising death? I think Disney would have had Shuri replace him in BP2 even if he hadn't passed away.
You realise he must have been casted in the role around 2014-15 and he found out about it in 2016. And any sane person wouldn't want to damage his or her work opportunities as long as he can and is able to work. Just being diagnosed doesn't mean one will die.
I actually think some of the problems the MCU has are similar to something like Dragon Ball. Obviously not the pandering but the fact that they have to keep raising the stakes to a world or universe ending threat that it kinda loses meaning after a while and makes it harder for you to tell a more personal story or make a weaker hero
Depends how it's done.
I've read the Secret Wars comics by Jonathan Hickman (and the Avengers runs leading to it).
Trust me, if they adapt correctly, you will have weak heroes and personnal meaning, even with a Bigger menace.
That's the problem with any franchise that runs for too long. Stargate: SG1 did it back in the day. Supernatural, same thing. It's the inevitable result when your plan is "let's keep making more of this as long as it keeps making money" rather than "let's plan a story with a beginning, middle and end, and when it concludes, move on to something else entirely". It's the reason most anime (DBZ notwithstanding) is so good: in 6, 13 or 26 episodes, they tell the entire story. They don't keep milking it after they ran out of inspiration; they come up with something new, and that gets their creative juices flowing again.
Serial escalation.
@@EvenTheDogAgrees So true. Shonen mainly does the milking the money thing, but you're right in that most other anime have an end in mind.
Downscaling to a personal threat is the solution. JoJo's does this all the time and it really benefits the series.

It would have been SO easy to 'therefore' a phase 4 after Endgame without escalating. Thanos is gone? That's great, because he was a villain, but he was ALSO keeping all the smaller villains across the galaxy in check. And now NOTHING is keeping them in check. The obvious consequence of the end of Thanos is a gang war on a galactic scale. None of them need to be a 'big bad', but on a tiny backwater like Earth they can still seem pretty big and bad. And now you've taken all the excitement from the Infinity Saga and rolled into a 'it's not over yet!'. But that would require some level of writing talent which Hollywood no longer has.
Also just actually spending time going over the consequences of the snaps. It was touched on like twice? 5 years of absence should at LEAST have 5 years of after effects either physical or social.
Then there are the ones you can fabricate. Is that stable for the universe? (Maybe use that to make sure that you can't answer any new problem with "well why don't you time travel or go through the multiverse?") Now there are 2x the people that planets were prepared to deal with, at least at that very moment so now what? Earth is now a well known place on a universe scale due to all this, how is that gonna affect earth when its clear that they still do not have space travel down? (not established anyway, the ships they left on were not their own and even if tony were alive you gotta give him at least a couple years.)

I feel bad for Iron Heart, not because she's a good character but because of the opposite:
She's a terrible (If not the worst) marvel character, and probably lost her only chance of having a decent adaptation.
Think of this, there are plenty of terrible characters in big franchises, sometimes terrible in concept or in a foundamental level, but most of the time there is at least one decent version of said character due to the franchise being big enough.
Even fucking Scrappy Dooh has a decent adaptation out there.
However the MCU and the whole "only one unified version of the character/story at a time" mindset would imply that we would be stuck with her being a bad character for more or less forever.
I bet they get half way through phase 5 before they see the pattern and cancel the remaining shows and movies. I think Iron heart will be the final straw. You can't take such a flawed character like Tony, give him an incredible character development arch, then have him die an honorable heroic death only to kick his corpse aside with a little girl and think fans will be okay with it.
Sheer content can never replace well-crafted storytelling. It's a shame to see what the MCU, Star Wars and many other IPs have come to.

I asked a very leftist friend of mine how can he be entertained by _The Last Jedi_ when I can easily point out a lot of its flaws within the first few minutes alone. His answer? "Just shut up and enjoy it. It's a movie."
@Jun Malabanan sounds a lot like a cult if you're not allowed to criticize it.
Especially the comics remember this new Thor reboot dear fucking god
Phase 4's female supeheroes reminds me of a quote from G.Orwell's Animal Farm.
"All animals are equal, but some animals are more equal than others."
Now that No Way Home and Guardians 3 have been released, I can safely say that I don't plan on checking out anything from the MCU after the decline they've undergone.
The great irony is that Marvel has a lot of great, diverse characters, but they’re mostly in the X-Men. If they really cared about Marvel’s legacy they would have started working on those movies as soon as they heard about the Fox deal. Instead they let their egos take over and chose to focus on characters that are “theirs”. An origin movie about Storm or Rogue or Bishop would have done amazing. But no, we need characters that Disney thinks they can manipulate and reconstruct/deconstruct without those pesky fans getting in the way. They’ll get what they want, because no one will be there to see it.
And whats worse is instead of choosing an existing awesome character such as the ones you mentioned, we will end up with black wolverine or asian magneto. Hell, I wouldnt rule out female or trans Xavier at this point.
Like who cares about ironheart? Anyone? Not me it seems probably
@@therealslimsagey5561 I could see a Disney executive misquoting you on this comment and saying "See? Even critical drinker fans want a trans professor X! The fans are clamoring for it!!!"
I dunno, do you really trust them to make a good origin film for the X-Men in this day and age when they're so focused on lecturing everyone?
What's an ironheart? 😆 🤣 😂
That 'you need to do better' line will stay with me forever I think as the death knell of my interest in Marvel.
That line just proves that whoever wrote that knows nothing about the U.S. government.
Exactly what I quoted when I heard there's more after Endgame
That show had an already interesting protagonist. 10,000 times more interesting than Ironheaet. The character went by the name of US Agent.
When they thought that they could 'weave' their movie audiences into their TV viewership and vice versa they made fools of themselves.
Rip Stan lee I think him and the avengers storyline was the only thing holding marvel up, and now that he’s gone Disney is doing everything they can to make as much money as fast as possible without thinking of the future of their own brand
The lack of a defined, impending threat to the Marvel universe is definitely crippling their momentum. They're just running on fumes at this point and it's not helped by films like Thor: Love and Thunder where pretty much every character treats the central threat of a story like a complete joke. "Oh no Thor, all of New Asgards children have been kidnapped!... but let's just stand around and flirt for a few minutes like a couple of awkward schoolkids"....???
Yes because phase 2 had a defined, impending threat.

@@spacequack5470 you cant be serious. So pathetic
Disney must be stopped. They seem to be trying to destroy as many iconic characters as they can, as fast as they can. It's just an endless stream of diarrhea that they're spraying across all screens & pages.

Finally it's here
They will be stoppet only when the blind slaves will start to develop a consciousness (hard to believe) and realize what is happening to them. But it's hard to believe that it will ever happen. The generic MCU fan is not a movie fan and has not seen a movie older than the 2000s or 90s. They don't even know how to analyze or describe a movie. Disney uses a form of media totalitarianism. It is something different, new, that will dominate the future in art. Manipulation masked by emotion. You feel something, you go to the movies. That's how they work. This is how the payer gets caught in the net.
@@crvlad Its literally a series of movies made to sell toys to kids. The rest of the MCU isn't great either, none of those movies are great movies. They are all dumb fun and things to watch with our kids.
Quick! Maybe if you complain 5 or 6 more time, that’ll put an end to them! Karen out more!!
@@bulleyes9059 yes but at least the first "season" leading up to endgame it made sense and characters were good. i have tried to watch the capt american series and it was so bad i just cancelled disney.
good news recession is coming and i hope people will be smarter with their money and cancel disney which will lead to better product. lets hope at least.
Marvel is the Call of Duty of the film industry. Constantly dishing out the same story idea slightly watered down with only one or two new things, relaying on the success they had years ago to push forward their new outrageous ideas hoping people will bite because it's part of the once beloved brand.
I was 18 when the first Blade came out. A bunch of friends and I went to see it in the theater. For a bunch of adolescent American boys from middle of nowhere Texas, it was exactly the kind of entertainment we needed. Hell, a bunch of my female friends loved it too. I own the damn thing on DVD and Amazon (got drunk, couldn't find the DVD). I'll make sure to watch it and pour one out whenever what's supposed to replace it comes out.
The MCU didn't have to decline like it has. If their stories were not "message" oriented and more tell-a-compelling-story focused, then we could have a great new type of Endgame for which to look forward.
Brain-washing sucks the fun out of everything.😫
They should have gone with the Midnight Sons Siege of Darkness storyline.
Blade, 90s Ghost Rider, Johnny Blaze, Mephisto's son Hellstrom, Jennifer Kale and Doctor Strange against the mother of demons Lilith and her offspring such as the vampire Blackout, demon Deathwatch and host of other villains. Would it have been dark and gory? Highly likely. But it would have been awesome
I actually didn’t start liking the MCU until after endgame
@@jamesg2518 that is way too late
@@jamesg2518 you have poor taste
You know how The Walking Dead had that moment where almost all of its audience walked away except for completionists? Yeah, that's how I felt after Endgame. Now the MCU just feels like staying at a party too long and all of the people you wanted to hang out with there have already went home.
Yea it’s gonna take an miracle for Marvel to get back on track
Exactly
Preach
Great analogy
Except walking dead did get good again with the nee showrunner and that one feral humans episodes. Fear the walking however is going straight downhill to the cancellation butching block now.
Honestly Ironheart could be such as cool thing. Imagine a story about a prodigy teen who was so inspired by Iron Man that she decides she's going to be just like him. Then the story follows her struggles in realising that she could NEVER be like him (not least because she's of the opposite gender), and a massive paradigm shift into becoming her own superhero. Could be absolutely phenomenal and a brutally gruelling coming-of-age sort of story is well executed.
Im gonna take a shot every time she disrespects tony's legacy by calling him a rich old white straight guy and or saying he had it easy bc of his privileges
My prediction is that Video game movies will be the new Superhero movies in a decade or two.
Not to say Hollywood won't surely disregard the unique circumstances of game storytelling and fail miserably in recreating it as they have so far, though in the end the old writers of today will be replaced by a new breed of video-game-aware writers.
