Discovery 4, Brown Town Track - Otways 4x4

Brown Town Track is just out of Gellibrand in Victoria. It’s in the Otway Ranges where we took a Discovery 4, Amarock, Hilux and Colorado. Make sure you watch to the end to see what the inside of the car ended up looking like. I’ve still got the Goat, only due to Nick and Scott not doing anything outstanding to earn it back.

Cheers mate. I’ve spent the last two hours taking the bash plates and compressor guard off to clean..... I can’t believe how much mud is sitting there after cleaning the underbody three times.

So your Disco 4 has dual intakes but you have the snorkel on only one side. Any negative effects?

Hi there, the D3/4 only has one air intake, the other side is a blank.

Why not using the super extendet Mode

Hi, the issue with super extended mode is that you need to be stuck to access it. Once you’re stuck generally it’s too late. I have installed LLAMS on to the D4 now (see my other video) so now I can choose height before I tackle a tough obstacle or deep rutted muddy bogs. Thanks for watching. Cheers Owen
