For a 12 year old female archer (currently in U13, won state in 2022) contemplating switching to U15 or U18 to see how competitive she might be, would you advise this? Or stay at U13 this year. U15 and U18 have longer shooting distance and it's a lot of pressure at this age. She is thinking of trying for USAT in the next 1-2 years if competitive. Thought you might have helpful insight. Thx.
Thanks, I'm going to my first competition (Indoor Nationals) soon! What's the atmosphere like? Does it tend to be tense, or is it more casual/laid-back?
Hi Andrew! I'd say its pretty relaxed during the practice rounds, but once competition starts its usually more tense. They do play music during the competition though, and you'll probably meet a lot of new friends!
Great tips Jen!
Hey! Thanks for the video keep them coming.
Good advices! I would add mosquito repellent
My club is near a river and in summer the mosquitoes have no mercy
Okay but now what should i do about stress
