Jacob’s patois English reminds me of the white Australians in Sydney speaking full on slang with their loved ones. Unfortunately, with Sydney, a place where Australian slang is rarer than other parts of Australia and even American words are common here among the conversations locals make to each other, closest thing to a full-on Australian sentence someone professional said to me professionally was “chips or mash?”, which means “fries or mash potato?” Still, not different enough to be a dialect lol. I would say Jamaican patois is a true dialect to American or Australian English.
