Joe Rogan is the common man's philosopher. He's not a genius, renowned academic, or professional scholar, but he is a deep thinker with an Independent mind. This is why we watch.
relatable even if you don't like him, cant miss if you love him, enterlearnment "that is an R&N in the middle"
I think he's legitimately very intelligent, but is at the same time a stupid persons idea of a genius. Which is a problem I have with a portion of his fan base and not him, don't get me wrong.
Almost as if when you talk to people like you're on their level they respond in a positive way

I think Lex’s new studio looks great, tho.
There is no division, every one unanimously is hating on Joe's new studio

I tried to like Joe's new studio, but it just looks awful lol
There's something vulnerable and heartwarming about listening to a mature guy who's achieved so much, talking about LIFE in such a way. It's as if he's humbled to a point where he touches every chord in such a simple way. And the other one(Lex) is getting better and better.
It would’ve been funnier if you said the other one (Joe)… haha
@@doyouevennaturebro4593 😅...that's why I specified the other one in bracket. And recently started listening to his very interesting podcasts.
You put my thoughts in perfect words. Good job ;) But I am gonna be honest: Its a very simple, logical thought of carrying a gun and knowing that your opposite is carrying one, too. Someone is probably gonna die. Which is highly unnecessary. Please dont get me wrong: Everybody has the right to protect himself. But there is a border for EVERYTHING, especially having a gun and using it. I mean: You are from the US. You have daily shootouts. Why does that happen...? ;) Simple. Logic.
😊
This was one of the best conversations I've heard. I got to know Joe and Lex. They were being ultra REAL with each other so real that Lex asked for legit personal advice and he didn't care what Joe's response was good or bad and TRULY wanted to know Joe's opinion. They were "into" each other and the conversation not to "show off" or say the right thing cuz they were on camera - honestly I think they would be the exact same if they were sitting in Lex's living room no cameras just 2 friends sharing their ideas advice intimate moments etc. They were REALLY listening.
I also think it's funny that Lex is worried or had to ask for advice when CLEARLY he's doing brilliantly on his own and making good decisions to shape his life, grow and eager to learn more and grow with each beautiful podcast he does.
Joe: Hey, wanna come on my podcast?

@@wizard4203 yeah. There’s too much reality tv being made. And it’s often the same people going from one show to the other. News is biased and woke. It’s good for some people but not me. This CD has three separate relaxation/meditation sessions on it czcams.com/users/postUgkxzpa8CIfZcihW4Z0F_ja0QF3W9KIatrsq guided by a very pleasant and direct male voice. Unlike so many other products of its type, this CD does not have bad synthesizer music, does not feature a phony or affected style of narration, and does not make any bogus claims to be subliminal or to re-train the brain or any of that balderdash. What you get is 1. a guided meditation for getting into a pleasantly relaxed state of body awareness while taking a stroll (superb for those easing back into a fitness routine slowly after an illness or injury) 2. A nice long breath-awareness relaxation session that if followed diligently can put you into very deep states of full-body relaxation and mental calmness, and 3. a buddhist-inspired meditation session designed to help you develop and maintain feelings of loving kindness toward not just yourself and your friends, but toward people you don't even like. The CD makes no claims to be designed for advanced meditators or for buddhists or hindus/yoga practitioners looking for very deep and esoteric stuff. It is geared more toward the average person who just wants to develop the habit of relaxation and stress relief through natural, healthy means. him, if you happen to be reading this, keep up the good work fella, and I love your accent. I would also like to note that I have never fallen asleep while listening to this product. I would like to kindly suggest to the reviewer who said this CD makes him fall asleep, that he might want to get checked to see if he has a sleep disorder, or if he is simply not setting aside ample time for restful sleep at night. A healthy person getting adequate rest at night should be able to go into deep states of mental relaxation without dozing off, if not all the time, then most of the time.

Lex you are so mindful to whoever you talk to ,enjoy your podcasts .
I see so many people struggling to feed their families and themselves. I've recently heard here where I live ,choose a senior to help this Christmas, or a child. Throughout the years, we've seen families struggle, and we choose a family each year, and we buy ingredients for a Christmas dinner and drop it off . I know people helped us when I was little, and one year, we saw a family with 4 children wearing windbreakers, and it was -30 F. We had bags of used winter clothing for children and adults, and I pulled over and asked them where the Salvation Army was. They showed me where it was,and I added unless you knew of someone who wanted these clothes, and the moms face said it all. I asked her where I could drop them off, and this family really needed the help. We chose that family for Christmas as well at Christmas, we can help other's and give them a hand up. This woman was a single mom whose hours were cut back.
My favorite part of all your podcasts is you peeling that “thoughts of mortality” aspect of every guest ... shows you that we have WAY more in common that we’d like to admit from the comedian to the Academic prize winners ... keep crushing it Lex ... much love.
Lex has such a carefully crafted way of asking a question. Brilliant interviewer.
Its what good interviewers should be doing. I see MTV interviews with people asking asinine questions that no one cares for the answers to and they obviously don't give it much forethought. You can tell Lex not only thinks about what questions he wants to ask, but what questions he _needs_ to ask to bring out Joe's personality in a positive way for everyone.
Its not easy, which is why its rare, but in a perfect world, every interview would be something like this.

Either it's the tiredness, or Joe is really different when he's in a guest role. A bit more there, a bit more direct and honest. A pleasure to see it this way. Thank you Lex!
I think it's being interviewed that makes Joe become different. From my perspective I think Joe, rather than being his own self, he is trying to be kind and respectful to be a civilised guest on someone else's podcast.
agreed, he was more interesting to hear when he was just being him and he was the one being questioned. i enjoyed this.

Both of these guys are great hosts because they ask a question or make a leading comment and then give the guest full rein. It's great to see more into Joe's mind.
I feel the same way about lex when the roles are reversed too!
A joe and lex convo, very insightful. These guys are having great a meaningful convo
Oh... I have to say with all my heart, from all of your podcast that I have viewed, that this one, in so many ways, was the most meaningful, inspirational podcast for whatever reason, that you have done yet. Idk exactly why but I cried through out the entire cast. It did something for me. Thank you ❤️ 😊 both and the muse.
so this was probably like their 5th hour of talking, after the 4hr JRE

Joe actually does mention it during the podcast that they did his podcast before this. Lex brought his own camera and mix setup and Jamie had left.
Lex’s setup looks better
Lex has quickly become am impressive long-form interviewer.
Love long form... scratching the surface is so boring.. love diving deep

Long podcasts are the best. Lex and roegan are my top picks when I'm at work. I hate having to find a new podcast to listen to every 45 mins
