- The Iron hands are one of the least appreciated chapter/legion - so why do they have a bunch of extremely awesome, heretical technology?

They may not have much relevance, but at least they have cyborg zombies. Gotta love the Iron hands

Video idea what if the emperor of mankind wanted to be worshipped as a God and had created the esslarcy the imperial cult in order to defeat chaos gods
I just got my shark daddy and his boys back from my artist and my God they look amazing. The models are amazing with the amount of details in them. I love these models and my artists loved them too. He paints lots of models for himself and others so he has seen a lot of them and he said these had some of the best details he's seen. Cost me 350 to get painted and it was worth it big time. Keep up the amazing work on these amazing models. Also give us more shark chapter models lol.
REMEMBER, Iron Hands successor chapters are named after an iron body part. Iron Hands, Iron Boots, Iron Guts, Iron Skulls, Iron Ass, etc. My chapter would be the IRON COCKS!
Hey, I've got a video idea. Might be kinda dumb, but, what if perturabo was made warmaster of the imperium instead of horus?
Hello Majorkill,
Would you kindly make some lore videos on the Imperial Truth, the Imperial Creed, the Ecclesiarchy? Pretty please? Thank you.
With the Rise of Vashtorr, there's a high chance the Iron Hands will play a pivotal role against this new Chaos threat and will unlock more of the Keys' tech to counter.
As a fodder maybe. GW doesn't care about any chapters other than the big 5
Plus let's be honest, they sold their mini. No reason for them to push Vashtorr any further for a while, coming from a person that started with the Vashtorr box and has Iron Warriors with Vashtorr hoping for some more development there.
My theory is Vashtorr will corrupt their machine bodies causing horror and giving him a "slave army" to spice his appearance up.
Yeah nah the ultramarines are gonna handle it as usual. No one at GW wants to do anything with them lol
Aren't the Iron Warriors not the only CSM Legion which is picked up IRL for real?
I never saw a Black Legion Player - Sure, some guys have couple of Black Legion Models. Or Kharn and so. But most CSM Armies I saw were actually Iron Warriors because a.) their models exist and b.) besides of the Red Corsairs, what is there?
Ahriman is cool, Kharn is cool - The rest of their Legion is dust or struggle to sit still for more than 30 Seconds. And the rest is either extremly expensive or you have to modify extremly expensive Models. So yeah, on Reddit its a great idea to play World Bearers with their possessed Dudes but IRL? And Daddy Nurgle is fun and all that but painting a whole Army for him and lowkey play them? Like sure, they aint bad those Plague Marines but you will literally play each game 1:1 the same. (Same goes basically for every Khorn Related CSM Faction)
Man, the Iron Hands are in the perfect place in the story to have huge lore involvement and to unveil more keys yet GW probably doesn't even remember that the Keys exist and that we are lore relevant
I think they even forget about Iron Hands existence from time to time.
> we
They’re too focused on making the banana boys banana boys AND girls
@noahjaks1607 Eh, I already thought there were banana lasses so I don't care lmao. Maybe if us Iron Hands fans play up the mental illness slant of the lore, we'll get some support lmao
It's astounding to me how such a cool legion has been completely ignored for decades. I hope the final piece missing for Vashtorr's ascension is being held by the Iron Hands so they can get back into the lore
I really dislike vashtoor as an addition to the setting but if he leads to iron hands taking a more forward position I’m all for it
‘When I said the flesh is weak, I wasn’t kidding,’ -Any rando Iron Hand
Ferrus Manus is my favorite primarch actually because he had the right idea he didnt hesitate to kill fulgrim sure it was in anger but i think we would all be hurt by a betrayed by a beloved brother. It makes him more human in my opinion then a lot of the other primarchs.
Especially since he was with the emperor since very early in the crusade. He had far more daddy time than all of them except horus
@@markcoroneos7811
What about Alphar... *[REDACTED]* ? 😅
@@Archon3960 lies! 😉
i also want to add there are times where very dead iron hands just sort of keep walking. in the story 'a sanctuary of wyrms' by peter fehervari there was a iron hand who was very dead, like impaled on a wall and left to rot dead, until he was 'fed' some drones by the investigating tau who were being massacred by mutated 'nids, he then proceeds to crush all the nids single handed then wander into the nid's nest to blow it up. absolutely zero shits given
Once again the community asks for a “How Bruva Alfabusa and TTS” shaped 40K video.
Ah yes! The creator of some of the most unfunny fucking memes known to man
@akumaking1 that would require Majorkill to use more effort than he does in his normal chatgpt scripts.
@Achromazero TTS is funny but the fans repeating it ain’t
@DouglasCarter69 it's not that funny tbh, some of it is, most of it is just screeching
He has his own style and fans. If you want something specific make it .
@@AchromaZero Autism incarnate comment
We really need Revenants for 30k and Helfathers for 40k.
1 Thing not mentioned about the Helfathers is that almost all of them if not all of them wear Terminator armour
Terminator armor with no clan symbols, which no other Iron Hands do.
It'd be cool to see more of Ferrus Manus and the Iron Hands as they're severely underrated and deserved more focus.
Yet another casualty of the HH 😕
Sacrosan was mentioned in 2 Dark Heresy rulebooks. Sacrosan waves can reanimate dead flesh, basically being tech-necromancy, creating a bunch of zombies (usually) and unnerving everyone around. One Magos heretech uses it to prolong his own life by having a generator built into himself, though, so maybe more could be done with that. Though unleashing the graveyards of any given world on a perhaps planetary scale (the known device in DH has a radius of a couple meters) would be horrifying enough to lock it away.
Also it is pronounced like sacro-saibt is pronounced in French and it refer what is sacred and holy. Generally it is a biblical term to talk about the effect of a miracle.
Agesine may come from Aegeus, Greek King who was the father of the guy who killed the Minotaur and killed himself by jumping into the sea. Agesine Protocol could be some kind of suicide thing? Best guess. Sarco is also Greek for flesh, so Sarcosan Formulae probably has something to do with flesh crafting.
Iron hands, all I can think of is "practise on a hotdog or you'll rip it off"
IRON HANDS ARE THE MVP, RAH!!!!🔥🔥🔥
Less friery iron paws fan lol
RRRRRAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH
I had a homebrew that was kinda like this. Was Ravenguard, Iron Hands, Salamander reanimated corpses from the massacre that were brought back to life via Warp/Perpetual/Machine spirit shenanigans. They couldn’t communicate with anyone and moves like puppeted corpses though they seemed to talk and interact with each other.
Thats nice my dude
I fw this BC you still have decent unit variety here, Ravenguard are your "light" armour dudes, Iron Hands are your regular size dudes and Salamanders are your slow tanks
Iron within!
Iron without!
Oh fuck, wait…
flesh are weak !!!!!
I love the Iron hands, their Art looks awesome, they love tanks, dreads, everything I love.
Hey Majorkill, do you plan on doing a Gav and Bob video? I think it’d be cool to go over the fan fiction story
He never read the comments let alone respond to his fan comment 😂 what did you expect? The guy is too busy vigorously stroking his ego and thinking of the next sexual joke to put in his next video where the shlt joke itself will take up a quarter of the vid’s length. Watch now he’ll probably come for me too and make a video accusing me of copying him for putting jokes In between my sentences
Would love to see a updated lore video on knights and there various patterns
i dont know, i can see the iron hands banning comfy mattresses lol
You did it! You did it!!! You covered the Keys of Hel!!!! Thanks bro!!!
Video idea what if the emperor of mankind wanted to be worshipped as a God and had created the esslarcy the imperial cult in order to defeat chaos gods
If that's end up being true, then emperor will become galaxy's most worst disgusting smelly a-hole ever to exist
i hope he makes a video some day about this
I'm pretty hopeful that Ferrus Manus is going to become extremely important at some point in the plot of the Necrons. Between his biology and his technical ability he was able to seamlessly integrate necrodermis with an ensouled mortal body. His headless body that has sat under the corpses of Istvaan for 10,000 years could be the missing link the Necrons need to figure out a way to reverse biotransference and actually exist again.
There's also plenty of scope to make it grimdark: Rather than the triumphant return of boy scout or the Lion saving the day at the 11th hour, his return starts out a cyborg meat puppet dug out of a graveyard by Belisarius Cawl to dangle in front of the Silent King as the ultimate bargaining chip. Necrons that first experience the attempted reversal go through an ordeal that makes the Rubicon Primaris look like nothing; maybe millions of year of aging hits them all at once, maybe the Astartesian flesh in the mix gives them just enough warp sensitivity to be possessed by demons.
The presence of a tech that brings the Iron Hands even closer to compatibility with Necron-style resurrection only strengthens this theory, and of course could be involved in reviving him in the first place.
Let’s go!!! Iron Hands video! I always love watching your Iron Hands Content. I think Ferrus was Right to keep the Keys away from his sons, they only would allow his sons a way to realize their wrong obsession with the machine instead of their own natural potentials.
I’ve been running iron hands since 6th. I’ve always lamented about how shafted they get lore wise. Come on gw finish their trilogy already.
Bro cuz folks fucking like "Space wolf's 😂😂 generic corny fucks
EXTREMELY HAPPY CYBORG SPACE MERINE NOISES!!!
YES ! Mager Kill iv been waiting for the day you talk about the Iron Hands. These guys are my favorite chapter 😂😂😂😂😂😂❤❤❤❤
What if Robute found Angron during the expansion of Ultramar?
40k Theories have good take on the matter. Everything depends at which point, pre or post nails he would find him, but regardless I doubt if he just leave Angron warriors to die like the Emperor did
This
Sounds like something Perturabo would love to use
awesome vid majorkill!! ever since I read about Captain Crius I was hoping you'd make a video on these shiny boys
Love that Iron-Hands content, thank you
I identify as Raven Guard so always nice to see more about my fellow shattered legions
Superb video as always @majorkill.
Could you make a video dedicated to the Navigators, the major houses, their politics, relation to the overall Imperium and factions,
THE FLESH IS WEAK
i hope iron hands will get some cool new lore with the coming of fulgrim and vashtor, kardan stronos seems to be an interesting chapter master
commenting for the algorithm, but that 600k special had better be you with a bag over your head getting pegged by one of those calendar models
Love your videos been watching for a long time
Thankyou for your great vids bro
Good lore bro, never ever heard of this before!
Edit: Cybernetic resurrection sounds alot like the 'resurrected men' from the universe of "mortal engines"
Will you make a video on each legion's best accomplishment/battle/victory? Counting unification wars, crusade and heresy
...The Commissar is pleased! 😎👍
Would love some longer vids
I live for the “Peaaaaaace” at the end of every video 😂
*Ferrus Manus dies*
Iron hands: Time to fuck around and find out.
**Doom music starts playing**
Iron Hands are great, I love their lore.
Aight, now you gotta talk about what spicy toys the Dark Angels have.
Just got my Big E and Napoleon, Great minis worth the wait! I only have 1 critique... MORE OF THE EMPERORS FINEST IMPERIAL GUARD!!!! LOL I love the models thank you, and loads of love
Iron Hands also used to have a tactical squad set, which was the old 3rd Edition plastic Firstborn Tactical Squad with a pack of metal extra bits.
The iron hands always intrigued me. It is a shame they don't get more lore.
Great video thank you
Could you please cover the Pariah Nexus crusade? AdMech and Necrons got some really cool super weapons in that book.
The idea that Ferris locked up an electronic bed sheet is to hilariously not to make it a head cannon of mine with him only breaking out when he or his sons haven’t had any good sleep.
I wish i could subscribe twice my man keep it up
The Iron Hands should turn their Chapter Serfs into large Cyborgs to assist them in battle as Elite Auxiliary Troops.
I'm pretty sure the alpha legion has some spicy tech, weapons, and devices as well. Given their nature, they are not as fleshed out with much speculation
The iron hands have lore after the primarch dies in his own first book ? I did not know, I wish to know more
It's a shame ferrus died so early in the heresy as he was my favorite great crusade primarch but he didn't just die like an idiot as is often thought but if he had 2 other legions such as russ and the space wolves and sanguinius and the blood angles an agressive strike likely could have won the war before the other traitors arrived. Also ferrus plus iron hands did alot of damage themselves and took the least losses, only reason the others lived is vulcan is a perpetual and corvis can go invis. I wish we see more ghost ferrus like during the end and the death and war In the webway.
A video of the top ten community made wholesome moments would be great
I just came up with a pretty crazy idea. I have always held onto the notion that there is no way the Iron hands like the Space Wolves actually have only 1000 marines given they flaunt almost every other rule in that book. I had figured that there numbers were far larger because they had done things like designate large amount of Astartes as "Mechanicum soldiers" to say they have less then they actually do and the Mechanicum is very good at hiding thing from the inquisition. But what if the Iron Hands had been secretly using Cybernetic Resurrection on every single dead Iron Hand for thousands of years slowly pooling a massive reservoir of Iron Revenants for dire situations.
Toll the great bell once. Give the thumbs up to increase engagement. Toll the great bell twice. Pull the lever to duplicate the Uniform Resource Locator for distribution amongst peers. Toll the great bell thrice. Sing praise to the God of All Machines.
@majorkill A video on each of the primarch’s favourite food would be cool. Also a video on how each of the pirmarch’s would react to being implanted with the butcher’s nails would be cool as well.
Great video as always! Can you post, or get sponsored by, the mattress sleep cover you use? That would be RAD!
Great Video! I am allways think that some legions had less lore than others because GW likes to follow some trend that help them sell more minis like Blood Angels when Vampires are popular or Space Wolves for Vikings, etc.
In case of Iron Hands are the cyborg/android theme of good guys and since their primarch is long dead and many fans doesn't like their theme, maybe GW dont put much effort on their lore, just some hints of how they have some secret cards to play in times of need.
I liked what little of the lore there was for IH when I first started building my IH Army. The whole concept of cyborg astartes hoarding tech and forsaking their flesh like AdMech seemed cool af and super metal. My only gripe with my IH Army (despite lack of characters) is that their paint scheme is boring.
Black, with Iron accents and white weapons is okay-ish, but very monochromatic, overall. I spent a lot of time experimenting with different ways to spice it up with a purple hue and settled ultimately with edge highlighting their basic scheme with purple metallics, and green eyes to compliment the purple.
Its kinda lame, how after ferrus manus dies hes then made out to be the coolest dude like oh noooo hes dead, the emperors favoriye son, the best blacksmith of all the primarchd, a primarch who had a decent logistical head, one of the strongest physical primarchs, and its like i wish this had come out before be died
now we know how Ferrus Manus is going to come back after having his head ripped clean off...
Not forgetting the magpie-like Blood Ravens who keep forbidden tech close to their chests.
Lol i was sitting there the other day goin "damn you dont really hear shit about the iron hands" then this vid dropped
"And then he was killed. But he survived!" Feel like that should be on a shirt.
Awww, was hoping for a Xana Incursion mention as an example as well... 😅
Never was this early at a majorkill video
I dont know why, but the iron hands and Ferris have always been at the back of my mind as a legit no.1 contender legion. Keen to see if it ever gets any pop.
Damn.. now I want to start an army of undead Iron Hands
This is awesome
Imagine a "Successor Chapter" made entirely out of Zombie Cyborg Marines.
I bet a donut that the Iron Hands are the only other Legion other than the Dark Angels that had Men of Iron in their hoard.
the gorgon of medusa needs more love
i wish the iron hands got more love they are so fucking cool
I have a feeling the 8 sleepers are some modified overpowered Men of iron
The last time I was this early Horus was a cool dude.
Hello Majorkill,
Would you kindly make some lore videos on the Imperial Truth, the Imperial Creed, the Ecclesiarchy? Pretty please? Thank you.
He was ahead of the curve
Its just grim dark that the biggest gigachad among the loyal Primarchs gets killed right away.
Hey Majorkill, for a video idea, how about what if the surviving loyalist primarchs never went missing after the Horus Heresy?
An electronic matress protector that tracks your sleep?!? What in the ever living toaster fuck is that 😂
Really wish Ferrus had more lore and was more appreciated, the little bit I know of the iron hands seems super cool. They're also referred to as one of the most dangerous legions to fight in full warfare.
When new major minis
The first Astartes Legion/Chapter I will build on the tabletop will likely be the Iron Hands. I will still say The Blood Angels are my favorite, but the 10th Legion is so cool.
Ferrus Manus and Vulkan having the knowledge of making DoT level weapons and technology and them not using it because of reasons.
I feel like, given the magnitude of what was happening, Horus Heresy warranted at least 2 keys
Ask the Celestial Lions if they feel like the Iron Hands have been shafted the worst.
Or mabey the Lamentors
The one Key of Hel that has been explained could be an ace up the sleeve to bring their Primarch back. It'd be easy enough to write about some Iron Hands operative extracting with at least Ferrus' head.
Cavill should give you a spot in the series.
...Wait, wasn't this literally the exact point of the Shadowkeeper Custodians and the Dark Cells?
Still waiting for a comission piece of the emperor setting the webway on fire
Hey Majorkill, how many Custodes do you reckon it would take to bring down each Primarch individually?
Snakes are a metaphor for rebirth in many cultures
Ferris is my favorite
God the cyborg zombies would be such cool and unique minis with fun rules, dammit GW
Can we have a video about all the forbidden tech used by pre heresie dark angel ( or even all legions )
Ferrus is my favourite primarch. I hope he comes back, even if its a over powered god servoskull
