Also he may or may not have traveled to Mars somehow using pure psychic power, which would be insane in its own right, as the fight with the void dragon was wayyy before space travel became a thing, unless he hid it somewhere on earth for a thousand years first

Not gonna lie, as bad of a dad move as it is, knowing about how the Emperor’s childhood tribe so zealously revered their elders makes me understand why he did. They were both drunk, egos were flaring, and Leman insulted the man whose skull the Emperor had to clean and use as the base for a funeral sculpt of his face. It would be hard for anyone not to lose their temper.

Alfabusa rejuvenates internet's W40K fandom with better stock of humors, despite some silly detractors argued that a number of his jokes are Reddit-tier (which isn't even true considering Hunter The Parenting & Half Life fan-series humour are generally superb and referentially witty to fits the eras of it's portrayal (so it's not tryhard so much to be "current year" hip of anachronistic slangs nor partisan political biases, while colloquially fair to each personalities of original characters portrayed ala mid 2000s era video game/pop culture to the serious plot brimming with young adult, middle-aged and elderly characters, personally I find it even more refreshing than TTS at times)
So that is why the emperor said he didn't like his uncle that much in TTS .
I thought it was a throwaway joke but no , it ties back to his history.

Sometimes I'm just imagine that emperor created a small realm for human souls in the warp and Legion of the damned is dead space marine whose souls were saved by him
I like to imagine they are the Vengeful souls of those loyalist sons that fought their traitorous brothers tooth and nail on Istvaan 3. Their intense feeling of betrayal, anguish and eventually hatred I think would definitely do something in the Warp

It actually fits with a common theory. After all if humanity can't be saved in the physical realm, then it'd be nice for everyone, not to be eaten by daemons in the afterlife.

I still think the Emperor being too attached to Horus to be able to kill him, suffering fatal wounds in the process, only for Horus to open Emps' eyes by obliterating Ollanius Pius, resulting in the Emperor obliterating Horus, makes for a more thematic ending.
That in-spite of the Emperor's superiority to man, and his love for his sons, he was still able to recognise his true purpose- to destroy Chaos, his true love- a love of mankind.
They didn't need to change the original lore with the random human standing up against horus. It fits more in like with what Big E describes himself as loving humanity. It is also creative no offense but fiction these days lack these simple heroic moments of the brutality of some unamed for example guardsman dying brutally and they changed something the community inherently liked it makes no sense. My friend who got into 40k even said this was a dumb down version of the evengs.
Nope. The official lore now is what was described in The End and The Death.

While the obvious implication is that his uncle and father were Cain and Abel, this could also fit the myth of Set and Osiris. Which would ironically mean The Emperor was Horus

The Emperor does say that though his father’s murder was not the first murder committed by mankind, it was the first where justice was exacted.

The Emperor being his size and as graceful as an Autarch in combat would be an amazing thing to see. Your baseline Aeldari already move at like 2-3 times faster than a human being, with the aspect warriors hone that speed immensely. Autarchs, being the master of multiple aspects, move in a blur practically untraceable be the human eye.
He isn't really this big, he can just change his size

Fun fact: the "Stone-but-sorta-Bronze Era" is known as the Copper Age. Both are correct 😂
During the Bronze age, that land where the Emperor came to be was called Anatolia. Not Turkey. And it was filled with quite a lot civilizations.
In the novel they described it as „a precursor to the hittite civilization“ meaning that big E is indo-european.

I am disappointed in you MK, you forgot that once we say what the Emperor of Mankind really looks like. When for a moment the Lion saw his true form as just a man of medium height, medium build, medium brown skin and rough shoulder length black hair.
These facts are actually very nice and I really like the upbeat tone in this video.

Could the Istvaan V loyalist legions have held Terra?
If Chaos forces were are at the same strength during the siege as it happened in canon
Vulkan is present at Terra so could close the webway quickly, saving all of the forces who died during the War in the Webway for use in the siege (Custodes, Imperial Guard, Sisters of Silence etc).
Due to this, the Emperor would also be free to command and fight in the siege
Ferrus Manus is alive and all Iron Hand/Salamander tech is present for the loyalists
Raven Guard and Corvus Corax conduct strikes behind chaos lines, similar to how the White Scars operated.
Vulkan can't die and Ferrus can level mountains making them a good counter to the Traitor Primarchs
Could the Emperor, Vulkan, Ferrus and Corvus have killed Ka'Bhanda, Angron, Mortarion, Horus?

I think it is useful to think of the emperor kind of like a schizophrenic, with multiple borderline autonomous facets of his personality. One level, the cold detached scientist, saw the primarchs as freakish tools to be used, one level, the warlord, saw them as his generals and soldiers, one level, the ruler, saw them as servants to his rule, one level the father, genuinely saw them as sons whom he wanted to rule by his side and had love for, or at least wanted to in some cases( cough cough angron), and yet another level the human, saw them as powerful forces that are a danger to him, and his plans, and things to be treated with distrust and caution. All of these were in play simultaneously.
Just got my Big E model so can't wait to build and paint
The tower of Babilon was not chaos corrupted. It contained the knowledge of inuncia the language of creation. Olanius did not want The Emperor to get that kind of power.

All this part about Cabal was fucked up greatly: their plan sounded only great on the paper, and even Eldrad saw that they merely wanted to find a scapegoat (humanity) for something that would be beyond their grasp, because as we know well, Chaos Gods were all well even before creation of humanity, and actually it was Eldar race that created the fourth one.

Ok I'm a little confused on the first part, as Autarchs need to have spent time in at least one of the Aspect Warrior shrines, those shrines were created after Slaanesh's birth/awakening, so when could he have done this? Was he doing it during the Great Crusade? As before it he was busy with the unification wars, before that it was warp storms, and the shrines were made after that.
Would have had to do it during the DAoT. At least most likely time frame to do it.

How could the Emperor who lived through the entire span of humanity and the dark age of technologies, was not able to archive and restore *all* human knowledges, sciences and technologies?
@lukeBryen2 The Emperor could have created many archives across the *Universe* during and after the dark age of technology.
That assumes that the need for archiving was both obvious and timely. It may not have been possible by the time it was clear that humanity’s industrial base would be destroyed by the war against the machines and the ensuing “must destroy everything” mindset humanity had afterwards. You’d think that Big E getting his hands on an STC, just in case, would have been easy when they haven’t yet been unavailable for millennia, but apparently not. There were presumably planets that did have intact STCs after the war but knowing which ones and getting there is another story, what with the warp storms being created in the wake of Slannesh’s birth.
Majorkill can you post a leg day workout video for the Emperor? He needs help getting off that throne.

This right here is why I hate the nu-Emperor crap some writers try to push, where he's just an emotionless meat robot. The big E is so much more interesting as an actual guy and, more importantly, far more tragic. Like, yeah, sure, the big E going "Nah, I don't care about the primarchs. They're just tools" is dark, but it is a fart in a hurricane compared to the absolute tragedy of how he loved them and had made all these plans to be a happy family after the crusade, only for everything to go so, so horribly wrong. The man had to hit himself with the psychic lobotomy drill in order to be able to lift a hand against Horus, that's how much he loved the primarchs. It's an order of magnitude sadder and darker than him not caring.

That was sad, Big E was a cool guy but he made a few mistakes that had really, really, really big consequences. My favourite was the morbid practice of creating the death mask for his father, very solemn.
Perhaps they were mistakes or everything is playing out just as he planned.

The first murder was presumably by an Old One, or discounting them, an Eldar, both highly psychic races for whom accidentally creating a daemon would make sense. Regular humans killing each other have almost zero presence in the warp.
