- This is my 2002 Chevy S10 4.3 V6. It has a Spectre cold air intake, Poweraid throttle body spacer, Hypertech Power Programmer 3, JBA performance spark plug wires, ACDelco Iridium spark plugs, and a custom exhaust with both cats deleted and a Flowmaster Super 10 SI/DO muffler with chrome 3.5"x18" tips. Truck is quick and sounds pretty mean for a V6. Please comment and let me know what u think.

Thank you for keeping the rim size reasonable! That is a pretty nice s10 you got there
this video just finalized my decision on the flowmaster 10 appreciate the video man
I never thought I would hear a v6 with super 10s that would sound good, well done
Good looking and good sounding S10, and that exhaust makes that 4.3 sound beefier...very nice👍
Go to 2:21 to hear exhaust
youre a godsend
My buddy also has an S10 but his is a regular cab, he built a custom diamond plate flatbed and also built a bumper out of diamond plate which by the way looks like a RanchHand Legend Bumper. He also deleted his cats but did straight pipe from manifold back nice tone, it also has a cold air intake and its also chipped. also nice truck man!!
The 4.3 was the shit in those little s-10's! My friend burned the tires off in about a week!
Wow! Nice truck. Duels sounds great.
Nice young man!!! Clean engine
Good work man! Sounds good
Man great video that sounds good I got a 93 s10 4.3 with the super 44 and wanted the 10 but couldn't really find any vids with the 10 series sounds really good on yours can't wait to put it on mine
Good looking truck.
sounds good man . I like it
Nice looking truck man
Dayum man that sounds awesome l love it thanks for sharing
wow sounds really good
That sounds good
That's a cool S10.
Sounds pretty good man all most as good as my s10 with a thrust welded
nice nice truck man. you've done great things to it, I love it. sounds great for a 4.3. I've got some plans like this for my 96 s10 as well. hope to make it sound as good as yours does.
that truck has the catalytic
Love it! Thanks for sharing!
Nice truck
sounds great!!
Bro I just got myself an '02 s10 4.3, bout start some mods. exhaust first. dope truck!!!
Thanks for the compliments. With Windows up on the highway its still fairly simple to talk and have a conversation. In cab resonance is all about muffler placement and tailpipe exit position. I placed the muffler as close to the rear axle as possible and I wanted the tips straight out back to help with drone also.
Sounds good man! Mine sounds similar straight piped 95 single cab s10 v6 4.3
Nice truck I like that
sweet truck
i have a 2003 s10 with a v6 some up grades i got are a flowmaster exhaust (with cat delete), forged pistons, aluminum heads (ported), a 114mm ballbearing turbo with a 4 core intercooler, cold air intake, american racing torque thrust STs (17x 10 front 17x12 rear), coil over suspension by eibach, front and rear antiroll bars, EBC Drilled rotors front and rear, 6 piston calipers front, 4 piston rear, carbon ceramic brake pads, a carbon fiber hood and HID Headlights.
Dope lil truck. Low key hating! Let the haters hate bro
Yeah I just left a comment below keep up the good work
Definitely running this exhaust on my zr2
nice truck bro i was looking for what mufflers to but on my 2000 blazer n im gonna put those thanks they sound nice
Nice sound...
That's the best looking S10 I've ever seen man, I really like all that you've done to it. The exhaust sounds really great, I'm wanting to put some Super 10s on my 93 4.3 blazer.
Nice truck.
Sounds ok? No sir it sounds amazing great little truck
my first truck was a 98 s-10 with a 4 cylinder i bought it in highschool about 3 years after i graduated i put a highly modified 302 with weiand supercharger on top
+superstreetS10 super nice truck man! I'm a fan of Chevy trucks and I have an S10 myself. Cool video too!
So for everybody that has been talking crap on my truck... You guys can just keep your mouth shut unless you want me watching your vids that your proud of and talking crap on them. The truck did gain a little response and pep after deleting the cats. I just had the O2 sensors put back in the pipe after modifying them with the non fouler spark plug trick. My gas mileage did go down about 1 mpg but no more. This is one of the quickest little trucks for the money. There is no heat shield on the intake because I was a broke high school kid but it helped a little. Overall I don't need anyone talking crap on the video and I'm glad that those of you that liked it gave some positive feedback.
superstreetS10 nice truck man, you got any performance recomendations for the 2200 s10? thats what i got and i would like to make it sound more mean than it actually is but i mean these are really light trucks so a 4 cylinder does nice, just let me know if you can think of anything i can use.
superstreetS10 "Please comment and let me know what u think." don't get so butthurt over other peoples opinions. You did ask for them.
Hey man personally I think your trucks pretty cool. I'm getting an s10 when I get the money any must have upgrades?
+ixcr238 electric fans. the clutch fan kills the power on these things in summer. good cold air intake and free flow exhaust will do wonders
I have an 03 Blazer, I have the spectre and about to get exhaust work done. Can you tell me the details of your build? I really like the part that mounts on the throttle body to the air filter (forgot what its called) my spectre throttle body mount cracked, I'd like to get something similar to yours!
I bought my s10 with an exhaust on it, and it sounds decent, but man do I want yours!
Sounds good
Thanks for all the compliments and subscriptions. There won't be any more videos of the s10 because its going to my sister for her first car and I probably won't get any respect for this but I have a 2000 Toyota Tundra access cab V8 with 3.91 gears, spectre cold air intake, performance spark plugs, no cats and si/do thrush welded exhaust. I've got tinted tail lights, tinted windows, painted tailgate handle, led offroad lights mounted on hitch below bumper for reverse lights. I'll post vids soon.
I love how deep the super 40s sounds but the 10s are good too
Sounds good mine sounds similar in my Silverado but mine is a bit deeper
Sweet V6 man, I'm about to get a S10 myself. When you had the truck with that exhaust were the cats on or no? Also what kind of piping was it like dual in dual out or single in dual out. Any info would be much appreciated!
That sounds awesome! What did you do about the o2 sensors?
have a 2000 Blazer just getting ideas? like the sound . had a s 15 with a sound of beauty.
That S10 is in great shape i love your engine detail...Say Bro. your exhaust system is on point so you did a cat delete what did you do about your o2 sesenors...im tryin to do the same on my 05 blazer...need your input...
If you don't mind me asking where did you get the light bar in the back and how does it hook up
Grabs belt buckle and spits...mmmhmmm lol murica 🤣
Sounds kinda like my '89 2.8 1st gen that I used to have. I like it. Maybe try lookin into Black Widow exhaust if you still have the truck and want to change it up some.
nice truck and exhaust set up, but sorry the camera didn't do justice. I bet it sounds a lot better in person. same thing with my videos of my 05 Colorado with Magnaflow glasspack. I'm bout to get an 01 blazer 4x4 with the 4.3 v6. trying to decide which flowmaster I should get.
Just what I wanted to hear how that 4.3 suppose to sound
Can you post links in the description for what you bought for the truck. I dig them led lights you got.
His did you Ger around the o2 sensors when.you.deleted the cats?
Very nice truck! Put some headers on it. I didn't see the heat shield for your intake. Kinda defeats it's purpose without it. Black bear tune would do it right and get rid of the hypertech.
@superstreetS10 how did you delete your cats and keep your o2 sensors
Sounds good . I was thinking about putting super 10's on my blazer. Is it alright for freeway driving?
Something that would make it look even better, but defeat the purpose of a cold air intake would be a cowl hood.
Does it only have one Super 10 split into dual pipes? It sounds damn good bro.
Most 4.3s with duals sound like soup cans.
Just wondering what kind of gas mileage do you get? In only getting about 12 mpg
Badass truck, man. I'm over here trying to get at a '96 s10 with the dual exhaust flow master too, do you figure it'll still turn some heads? either way, cool vid.
oh and what are the headlights??? where can I find them
Where did you but the exhaust at? And how much was it? I am looking for an exhaust for my 1998 s10
Hey what kind of wheels do you have on that thing?
Playamade8000 it will sound close but not as deep because its .1 liter smaller and its an inline straight 6. But it should sound pretty good.
The truck has 255/60r15 cooper cobra radial gt's. They are like 26 inches tall and about 10 and a half inches wide.
Does anybody have a link to a gibson system I can hear?
i got a 95 4.3 no muffler and a gutted cat loud as hell
Ah yes, the sticky S10 hood. Both my S10's (one a Blazer Xtreme with basically everything you've got except I had taylor wires and stock exhaust, and my current 4 door Blazer) have the same issue.
What kind/brand of tires are they?
what size pipe did u use
What number do they have, are they the tires?
Did deleting the cats effect your performance any? I've been wanting to do a cat delete on my car but I'm worried that doing that I'll lose back pressure.
BACK PRESSURE IS NOT NECESSARY UNLESS YOU'RE TURBO......as long as them pipes got a few bends in them you're fine
Where did you get the hid's
😮
I've never done a quarter mile. Just never got around to it.
I think you meant a hot air intake since there is no heat shield around the filter
99% of the world dont understand that! lol
@@danielgresham4763 What about the hot fluid flowing in the exhaust manifold. Would be nice to see some sort of LT1 type mods for the 4.3.
deleting the cat doesnt change how the truck runs? doesnt through engine code? doesnt effect pressure?
U can get more top end power with the less back pressure u have but u lose in low end power simular to a turbod car
Wade McKenney does a muffler work the same way somewhat? i get all this "backfiring /spitting" when it idles down.
best sounding s10 I've heard so far... how did u get away with deleting both cats tho...
spark plug none fouler. or that's at least what I did on mine. you can do it to a lot of cars/trucks as long as the o2 sensor is behind the cat ad not in it.
Is it true duels or single into duels?
question if you delelt both the cats how does it pass emissions?
I just gutted my cats that way when they go to check it its still on there
the speed monter went up ;plol
nice truck man how much did the whole exhaust cost
what is your 0-60 time?
I have to hit the hood on my '97 EVERY SINGLE TIME.
CowboyKiller315 my 98 blazer does it too lol
josh simons adjust your rubber studs under the hood and loosen them to rebuild the pressure to release the hood latch
Spray some PB blast down there and work the latch then spray down with parts cleaner and make sure it's dry then spray silicone spray in there. I had the same problem - just needs some regular lubrication and it won't do that
I was rockin that on my 91 but i got too much police love, now its no cat with a tractor supply co muffler ha
can we hear a video of it going down the road
What brand tail lights are those?
+Logan Elsenraat ebay
Last comment was the 0-60 time
did deleting your cat's cause the engine light to come on?
+Brad McGill on the back ones as long as you have the o2 sensors in, the light shouldnt come on. some vehicles dont even need the o2 sensors in the back ones, and it seems to be the case with this truck because it didnt have a light on and i didnt see the o2 sensors
U can also see two vids of my truck if u go to aguy12342 channel. Or just type in 2002 s10 super 10 series and mine should be the first one and another one a few vids down.
During early spring when it was 35 degrees out after doing a massive burn out for some grip was 6.3 seconds.
I had one of these and there is no way in hell you git 6.3 second 0-60 with that slushbox trans. I was lucky to get 7.5 or 8 with perfect conditions.
check out my lifted s10 with flow masters and straight piped :)
I got the hids on eBay for about 70 bucks. Never spend less than 50 for hids Cuz ur gona get what you pay for.
sounds pretty good, got a 96 Silverado for a work truck with a 4.3 has 315k on it right now, gonna put an exhaust on it, wanted some more ideas
rbrooks hgm 315k ? Wow man, you must change the oil on time! lol.
Did the throttle body spacer make a difference??
Paul Davis nope
Absolutely. It brought the throttle body up closer to the hood.
true, i put a spacer in my s10 and it did nothing, no gained horsepower, no gained mpg. just a faint whistle when accelerating
Where's the custom S10 at
“Pretty custom”
