I have about the same set up on my 4.3L I put a hi-flow cat cause the muffler shop wouldn't let me run catless. With single muffler super 10 out to duel 4in tips love it. Not too loud just perfect.
I have a 93 chevy cheyenne with the regular 4.3 v6 and its a very good engine. Lot of people rag on the 4.3 saying its a p.o.s. but its very strong and dependable. They sound really mean with duals and flowmasters. Your truck has great tone and I don't know about that studio Mic gearshift handle lol but great sounding truck
@@streettruckin785 even though that gearshift topper looked cool it be in way I'd think. I'd get it tangled in my hair and miss a shift crash into a mailbox a burst into a firey mushroom lol
Synovial foot18 if you have Emissions testing you won’t get the same sound. I fortunately do not. The catalytic converter makes all the difference. I don’t suggest that you remove that unless you can have it turned. If you delete the converter it will trigger a check engine light. As well as that it will cause it to run to lean and that can cause engine failure. Now with that said. I have a cat less system with 3in pipe with a single supper 10 single in duel 2 1/4 out with 12in long 3 in tips. 4.3l v6 5speed with injector upgrade and ignition upgrades as well and that’s it factory air intake and everything else.
That gear shifter is badass!
Sounds awesome, great job! I love the shifter it reminds me of the old hotrods. Thanks for sharing your time and talents with us.
This video takes me back when I looking for options on my 98 1500 v6
That’s a good sounding v6

DJTAZ1996 thank you. The gear shift is so I can be different.
@@streettruckin785 its definitely different lol if I was to drive your truck I'd clock myself upside my head with shifter knob lol
DJTAZ1996 lol! I have redone it so it is more upright and not so close to me.

Thatd cool but i think my dads is a 98
Super 10 s😊
Another muffler sounds pretty good with a 4.3 is a glass pack
Yup there's one on mine
Where did you get the shift extender?
I made it out of a stainless steel impeller shaft from a boat motor.
Im gonna get a 94 4.3 5 speed. Would a flowmaster 40 and dual tips be nice? Dont want too much drone
I think the 40 series is a good muffler. as long as you put tail pipes on. the drone shouldn’t be to bad.
Any advice on what I should do to my 1997 Chevrolet Cheyenne c1500 single cab in order to make it sound like yours ?
What engine do you have, and what state do you live in?
Street truck 785 I live in Texas and I have a v6 4.3L vortec
