      Hi. My brother got hir by a car recently. He has been in the hospital for a month. He is lucky he is alive. For 2 weeks he was in an enduced coma, 1 week lying in a hospital bed, and 1 week in rehabilitation for his severe brain damage. Ive been alone at home for a while with not much to do. Id like a minty pi because it will give me something fun to look forward to and something to have fun in atm. The reason I'm home alone is because my parents are with my brother at the hospital. So please read this over and let me know what you think. Thank you and have a nice day.

      @greyjohnson4124 Před 7 lety +14

    • @IcoKirov
      @IcoKirov Před 7 lety +5

      yep, putting it on sell, would mean one of two things
      1) he has like a 1000 already made up, which is not possible, as they are hand made.
      2) they will always be out of stock, because he wont be able to keep up with the production.

    I am so glad those parts are available. These are probably the coolest retropie project I have seen so far. I've made a full size arcade and a game console so far. This is the next project. 1 for each family member. Thank you for all the work and specialty parts you made. I am surprised you aren't just selling pre built set-ups, but am glad you have them for us to build.

    I think it would be great for Wemy to be able to sell these things, but most people in the comments don't realize how hard it is to make just one of these, and to sell them, just making one would take at least 30 mins to 2 hours, and it's very tiring, so please stop asking Wermy if he can make his own, cuz it's very tedious to make these things, and it sucks all the fun out of making a homemade gaming system.

    I would love to have a MintyPi, I'm always looking for a convenient way of being able to play classic games on the go, but I always have to resort to emulating the games on my phone (Which is terrible since touch controls never feel good for me.) and being able to use physical buttons for once would be nice. I also would find it funny to maybe ask one of my friends if they wanted a Altoide and then blow thier minds by showing it's a portable console in disguise.

    You can do this with just a soldering tool. It just takes trail and error of testing it then soldering again. I would not recommend this project to Newbies. If you dont have a good understanding of how electronics work or even how to solder then you should just buy it already made. If you are looking to practice then id suggest trying to solder an LED to an old TV remote control. Also look up stuff on CZcams.

    Even though I'd rather have a Game Boy Zero because nostalgia reasons, getting one of these would be amazing since I don't have the equipment to make one myself (also EU so no Altoids :P).
    I was wondering: might be a bit more expensive, but a RetroPi build in a 3DS? Not using the 3D effect or touchscreen of course.

    I'd love to get something like this. Only thing I'm wondering is if the games save data so if I exit it I can go back to the game and continue where I left off.
    I also wonder if I can get some roms like the ones from the Sonic Hacking Contest on here, most likely could. Still, I really need to do this sometime.

    For anyone looking to buy a fully functional build with low battery monitor my brother will be selling them on eBay in a few days. I'm sure others will have some soon as well.

    First of all I want to say is good luck with your channel and keep up the good work! I would love to win the giveaway because I don't know how to build things like that.
