Hey guys, I fixed the broken blog post link (oops) but some people are still seeing the old link. Wait a few minutes and refresh and hopefully you'll see the updated link! That or just go to sudomod.com and look at the most recent post. :)

:o :p :] :) Amazing vid
i have a frozen tin can. is that ok. xD
Hi. My brother got hir by a car recently. He has been in the hospital for a month. He is lucky he is alive. For 2 weeks he was in an enduced coma, 1 week lying in a hospital bed, and 1 week in rehabilitation for his severe brain damage. Ive been alone at home for a while with not much to do. Id like a minty pi because it will give me something fun to look forward to and something to have fun in atm. The reason I'm home alone is because my parents are with my brother at the hospital. So please read this over and let me know what you think. Thank you and have a nice day.
can you plz sell the whole mintypi in you website please
kenny garcia he most likely won't sell it pre assembled because of the time it takes to assemble it it's not to hard to do something like this just get a soldering kit and some test projects
kenny garcia you might find someone willing to put one together for you at a forum but it will likely cost a lot for labor.
Getting pi0 in quantity is really difficult. I doubt he'd be able to do it.
yep, putting it on sell, would mean one of two things
1) he has like a 1000 already made up, which is not possible, as they are hand made.
2) they will always be out of stock, because he wont be able to keep up with the production.
It will cost 100$
I'm still loving the "fallout style" version but can't wait to get my hands on all the custom parts for your awesome "version 2".
Top quality videos, sir. Thanks so much for all of your and everyone else's hard work on this project!
I just wanted to say good luck to whoever wins the giveaway!
TheRedMelox Thats nice of you. LIKE!
LIKE! and good luck to you!
I am so glad those parts are available. These are probably the coolest retropie project I have seen so far. I've made a full size arcade and a game console so far. This is the next project. 1 for each family member. Thank you for all the work and specialty parts you made. I am surprised you aren't just selling pre built set-ups, but am glad you have them for us to build.
Glad to see you are still doing this stuff wermy. I hope to be back soon, too. Keep it up!
Hopefully sooner than later! ;)
I would really love to have a Pi! I love the last tutorial you did very much!
can u do 3d prints for the ginger, cool honey and dark choclate
I think it would be great for Wemy to be able to sell these things, but most people in the comments don't realize how hard it is to make just one of these, and to sell them, just making one would take at least 30 mins to 2 hours, and it's very tiring, so please stop asking Wermy if he can make his own, cuz it's very tedious to make these things, and it sucks all the fun out of making a homemade gaming system.
I've been following your build progress since the start!
Thank you so much for the amount of hard work you and Helder put into these projects. They are fun to build and super fun to play with.
Thank you for all the things you've created for us! I'm glad the mintypis are finally out
Great job wermy. I just finished my mintypi last night. I absolutely love it! Will also be a quick video of it later
Amazing build, thanks for sharing your talent and even offering a give away! You rock dude.
I would love to have a MintyPi, I'm always looking for a convenient way of being able to play classic games on the go, but I always have to resort to emulating the games on my phone (Which is terrible since touch controls never feel good for me.) and being able to use physical buttons for once would be nice. I also would find it funny to maybe ask one of my friends if they wanted a Altoide and then blow thier minds by showing it's a portable console in disguise.
Kane Bickelhaupt you don't win a giveaway by writing an essay -_-
just emulate on your phone but get a Bluetooth controller such as the ones from 8bitdo which are high quality. if you're doing this just to play on the go and for the novelty of having a game console in an Altoids tin then I think this project is not for you
"I would love to have a new Farari because driving my shitty BMW around just does not give me the driving feel"
Great videos! I'm new to Raspberry Pi and seeing amazing projects like this inspires the hell out of me!!
I have no experience, or knowledge on how any of this works or how to make it, but I love the vids. Great job man :)
can you please make a gameboy mirco-pi. everything from the 3d printing to the hardware. its my favorite gm system and really way to make one
This is great, I'm getting a job soon and looking into making things with the pi and other models to make so emulator machines for on the go and friends and your videos seem to be the most informative about builds and fixing issues, good job :3
Wermy, i think what you do is really cool and interesting. I would never be able to turn an altoids tin into a portable raspberry pi. I look forward to see new projects that you may start in the future!
So stoked to have found your videos, my cousin owns a 3D printer and I just got into raspberry pi, already built a smart mirror but i want to work to this. Thank you
Just thought of making this as a present to my friend, he is a big fan of retro games!
You my good sir, are AMAZING! This is fantastic! I just won't be making one as I'm scared that I will break something. Fantastic work!
Great video as always. Maybe one day I will get my hands a bit dirty and build this amazing DIY project ^^
The clear minty pi looks cool, my brother has a 3D printer and he loves stuff like this so I will probably make one with him
I havent had any hand held in years and I miss the old Zelda and Mario and megaman. Its been ages since I could play so many games I loved!
My entry is in!!! These are beautiful, outstanding work!
Dude, this has become a legit game console now, and it really is cool.
I love your channel and I hope I win the giveaway because I can't build stuff like that. I've watched your videos for 1 year and want you to continue to make these awesome videos. I don't build anything in your videos but It's still fun to watch them! Keep up with the good work buddy.
Hey wermy. I’m really impressed of how you built a custom game device. To bad i can’t make one because I don’t have a solder. It’ll be nice if I can have one.
Looks great! You are talented and thanks for making professional clear videos.

wermy I am new to your channel and these look amazing. I was wondering if you were sealing them. I would love to hear back from you on if you sale them to serious buyers. Thank you
it's so cute! the transparent parts look great!
I really like the way that original looks. If i ever end up making one, i definitely want to look like that, all homemade looking and shit.
Im really amazed. This is just cool. But a few questions (I know this is a bit old but i hope somebody will answer)
Can you only say a single game on it? Is it built in or can you download games onto it?
You should add a volume control. In school stealth would be so cool with this
Link for blog doesnt work. Plz fix. I'd love to win one for my bf
Fixed!
wermy thank you!
That green MintyPi looks AWESOME!
I love this channel you make such cool stuff but I can't make any of it but still amazing keep up the good work
GIVE AWAY LIT HYPE
I hope I win this cuz I'm completely mind blown on the fact that you were able to pull this off so I'd like to share this to my subscribers
Damn, that transparent MintyPi is THE BEST! 😍
It would be cool to have some screw holes on the board to fix the PIzero for soldering.
I've been thinking about putting a game system in an Altoids can before
It has come true lol
I subscribed👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 I love your videos my top favorite is the mintypi build!!!!!
404: Page Not Found ON THE BLOG
Fixed!
wermy why in Facebook and instgram
wermy plz can i have one
wermy i only have a wii plz can i have one i really want one where do i get
Pixel Fox you have to make it
My son saw me watching this video and LOVED it. He has been asking and asking if we can build one together so I ordered the custom boards and screen today. When everything comes in, this will be our project. I would still like to win one for me though. 😀
I don't own any items necessary to build this. But have alot of cash, and I am interesting in buying a pre-built one. One that has the new additions and adjustments made, routing to someone capable of selling them as a reliable source would be much appreciated.
You could sell stickers to put on the inside game pad that look like controllers from things like the NES or gameboy advanced.
Yeah! Minty pi the best!
you know.... I like the ugly version the best XD
oOOoOO000HHHHhhhHHH man a chance to WIN a minty PIIIIII!!!!
I'm going to start putting together my parts to build these for my kids... AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks so much for the incredible idea, I want to buy one and have my husband build it with my son.
I really want one of the mintypi because I want to be eletrical engineer when i grow up and I don't have a 3D printer to make the parts and when I saw your video about the minty pi I got really inspiration so please I would love to win the giveaway thx
He sells the 3d printed parts too mate
Crazy Agile I can't buy them I have no money
+IPG/// I PLAY GAMES pff
Muchas Gracias for the opportunity to win a mintyPi!
You should post a CZcams video on who won it
Keta Boone it's not over yet theres 23 left

Keta Boone when you go to the giveaway page to put in your email

Wow, this is beautiful! What a work of art.
God I would love to get one of these for my birthday man. I love your content!
If I buy all the same parts you used in the previous video to make my own, how much specifically would it cost?
all the parts are 90$ total
Lol im gonna try my hand at making my own PCBs any idea what the pitch/spacing of the pins is on the 2.4 inch LCD and where we can buy the LCD separately?
Cant wait for the giveaway! I never win these type of things but hey it doesnt hurt to try! Im just 16 so these things is nearly impossible for me but that wont stop me from attempting it since im also motivated to make one! Hopefully it can save me the hassle by getting one fully assemble but hey ik the odds are never in one favor just luck. Ty for this amazing video btw I cant wait to see what things I could build in the future from your videos!
Hope your channel grows its to hard for me to make but its cool to see
I want one so bad!!! I probably don't have a chance to win the giveaway, but I signed up for it and I will give it a shot! Even if I do win one (which I won't) it says they don't come with any games and I don't have a clue how to do that....it would still be cool have one just as a sort of memento
You should try to add a component so you can somewhat easily connect it to a T.V or monitor kind of like a Nintendo Switch.
The first one is actually the coolest one.
KEEP UP GREAT WORK LOVE THE DESIGN OF THIS WISH I HAD ONE
This is so amazing I got one and I could bring it anywhere instead of one of those consol that you need a tv
Have you considered using the acetone smoothing method on your printed parts to see if it gets rid of the need to grind down the dpad catch?
Wermy I have been seeing your creations for a few months now on cool tech videos I have wanted to build one for a few months but never had the time materials and money I'm trying to save so I can build one but keep up on the good work
Can you sell them already made so beginners who know nothing about engineering can get them?
I really want to build this! What a cool little device.
Just did the entry, great work on the project btw
I think the original is the coolest one you've made
i'm interested if there will be a package with all the parts included for sale...
i'm willing to make one for myself, but the shipping of all the different parts will probably kill me (i haven't check if there is shipping actually)
it would be extremely helpful if all the specific parts (i mean things like pcb's, not sd card) are packed in one, and all you would need is to assemble it.
like a lego box :)
Will you consider selling a kit with all the parts necessary already included? I would love to build one of these amazing little things, so I can offer my friends Altoids just for them to see a little gaming console instead of some curiously strong mints. Keep up the creativity
I jest started watching you i love you'r videos .
Followed you on all social media and CZcams just found out about these and they are AWESOME and I really hope I win
Be dope to win one of these because I'm awful with soldering and wiring in general, but maybe make a already built version in the shop, that would definitely be a good idea, besides all the work that has to go into it, cheers
Does your chance of winning depend on the number of websites that you follow on?
I love to win the MintyPi, because I want to have something small to have when I am on an vacation trip, and when I'm bored I can play with it. It seems really nice to win and goodluck to all!
Can you sell these?
Would so love to win one of these before my Bday on the 24th of august. That would be so awesome and would totally rock. I've been dealing with a death in the family since april this year, and wining one of your awesome items you put together would be awesome. Also wanna say awesome work on what you do.
i ordered all the parts so excited
I love your videos and I hope I can build a Pi gaming system myself one day
Would definitely buy one of these! You should consider selling!
AND WHEN WILL THE WINNER BE ANOUNCED
Is there any way to buy a prebuilt one?
You can do this with just a soldering tool. It just takes trail and error of testing it then soldering again. I would not recommend this project to Newbies. If you dont have a good understanding of how electronics work or even how to solder then you should just buy it already made. If you are looking to practice then id suggest trying to solder an LED to an old TV remote control. Also look up stuff on CZcams.
I like what you do and continue like that.
Hello! I'm a big fan and love the content you put out. Would it be possible to buy one of these from u? If it's not, no big deal was just wondering.
Such awesome devices. I miss those games.
I sure wish I had time to make one of these, too bad I'm going back to college soon
gonna be makeing myself one of these for every day of the week
Love to watch your videos and it would be a dream to win and good luck to all of you guys in the giveaway
SEGA GENESIS, PLUS IT'S MY FAVORITE CONSOLE, I DON'T NORMALLY ENTER GIVEAWAYS, BUT NOW I GOTTA TRY
Even though I'd rather have a Game Boy Zero because nostalgia reasons, getting one of these would be amazing since I don't have the equipment to make one myself (also EU so no Altoids :P).
I was wondering: might be a bit more expensive, but a RetroPi build in a 3DS? Not using the 3D effect or touchscreen of course.
I'd love to get something like this. Only thing I'm wondering is if the games save data so if I exit it I can go back to the game and continue where I left off.
I also wonder if I can get some roms like the ones from the Sonic Hacking Contest on here, most likely could. Still, I really need to do this sometime.
For anyone looking to buy a fully functional build with low battery monitor my brother will be selling them on eBay in a few days. I'm sure others will have some soon as well.
First of all I want to say is good luck with your channel and keep up the good work! I would love to win the giveaway because I don't know how to build things like that.
