    For those that are wondering this will run you ~$160 USD for all parts plus or minus shipping costs. A bit steep for a handheld but understandable since it's a small hobby project and it's hard to scale with cost. It's brilliant nonetheless. I may get it. Maybe...

    mushy buttons? nope nope nope nope! those on their own they are not responsive, they need to be solid on the user end like any respectable controller.
    Also on the pcb cut the interior half of the contact circles for the dpad, this way it becomes way way way more precise.
    I may sound super critic but I am because this is a very good project and I like it!

    • @shorty606
      @shorty606 Před 5 lety +3

      I've had the good fortune to try those new buttons and they are not mushy at all; They are like a rigid silicone, they are fantastic to use. I also do some tinkering with boards and the method used for the PCB contacts is probably the best way you can make it responsive, each finger interlocks from the opposite side meaning you'll get a connection no matter where you put the button.

      @@jeremymercado8599 I started a number of 1000 to be easier for me to keep track but if it does sell out before then I can always add more to get a final tally. If you buy it before the deadline then you will get a kit.
