The 90 degree nunchuck is so he can put one of them under his arm pit like he's holding in a cool king Fu pose. Also superior doc is basically a modified clone of Peter with doc ocks mind in it. He becomes a bad guy again from what I remember. He's the stand out figure in this wave if you ask me.
That Shang Chi with the new Johnny Storm flame on hands and accessories with other lower legs/feet can be a great liu kang

That velocity suit spider-man would make a perfect bulletpoint costume spider-man custom. In fact, the entire sculpt is that costume. Just needs a black and gold repaint

I think they added a balljoint on Superior Octopus because it'd probably weigh down the ab crunch with the back pack. Also Shang Chi has newly sculpted arms for the body mold while superior Ock has a newly sculpted torso.

That spider armor originated in the comics.Quite a while ago in Ends of the Earth.
That Spider Armor is actually based on a costume from a comic arc.

highly recommend the velocity suit one. Having it in hand was stunning!! joints, paint, everything just hold together perfectly. hasbro is making progress

Got this set on Pre-order, looking forward to getting it soon. The Spiderman armor looks like Deathstroke's costume. Shang-Chi looks great, but wish it had the top that matched the pants being his trademark costume. Great video commentary. Happy New Year.

I’m pretty sure the Vulture figure has the prototype Pizza Spidey shoulders. The vulture’a shoulders are bigger than the basic Spider-man mold and looks like the prototype for the figure back from like 2014ish
I'm so happy Hasbro made a Quick Kick 6" figure lol. that was the first thing that came to my mind when I saw that Shang shi figure with a little repaint you could totally make QK from Gi joe.

Don't know why they made the spider armor mk.3 gamerverse when spider-man used it in the comics first. But overall a really good wave of figures.
Marketing purposes, I'd guess.
Possibly to get the people collecting every costume that was included in the game to buy it, making sure thy don't miss it.

Love that the Spider-Man figures can now do the splits! Now for a classic Spider-Man on a similar mold. Preferably from the beginning of the game. Alternate unmasked head and all hands.

I’m a little disappointed that the upgraded suit that Hasbro made didn’t feature any unique sculpting after seeing how they handled the unlockable suits in this wave. I hope we get a new version somewhere down the road that... isn’t a GameStop exclusive
13:39 I still have hopes that Hasbro will give all Marvel Legends figures that kind of mid-torso articulation. It's so much better than the traditional ab crunch articulation.
I am waiting on my wave, I pre-ordered it at Gamestop, so it should be very soon! Totally looking forward to that Superior Doc Ock, Shang-Chi and Vulture, and love me a White Rabbit! For me, I dug the Maximum Carnage storyline, so i'm looking forward the Demogoblin to go with the Doppleganger Spidey, now we just need Shriek and Carrion! I REALLY want Hasbro to do an updated Spider-Hulk for a future Spidey line though, but as a BAF so that we can get a meaty looking figure! Great review Robo, i'm looking forward to this wave now more than ever. Don't mind the gamer Spidey's either, more Spidey's is MORE Spidey's to me!
Shang Chi figure reminds me of Quick Kick from G.I. Joe, The Superior Spiderman head sculp reminds me of Snake eyes, makes me wonder about a 6 inch Joe line.
I think Vulture is camouflaged to fight Spider-man in a watermelon field.

Superior Ock is Doc Ock's brain in a cloned body that's a hybrid of Peter Parker and Doc Ock. So he's got Spidey powers plus his tentacles, hence the spideryness in the costume.
Nice little trivia for the Velocity Suit is that it was designed by Adi Granov, aka the artist responsible for the modern iteration of Iron Man ranging from the Extremis suit to the original MCU design. :)
Was the superior octopus designed by him too? It kind of looks like his style
@@Getwright- Looking it up, it doesn't seem like Superior Ock was designed by him. But I get what you mean, they both have a very similar aesthetic and style, and it's honestly why I wanna get them both from this set.

It's the Doc Ock of Secret Empire. He sides with Hydra Capt on that arc. But after that he moved to SF to continue being Superior Spider-man

Superior Octopus is Doc Oct in a cloned Peter Parker body. Pretty good read.
White Rabbit's blast effect on her umbrella is a removable piece. It's tiny, but it is meant to slide on & off.
White Rabbit's jacket and arms are from Elsa Bloodstone. And Superior Octopus was from when Ock moved his mind into a clone of Spider-Man and joined Hydra temporarily, during Secret Empire. He stayed as Superior Ock until moving to San Francisco and trying to start again as a hero. He quickly changed back to Superior Spider-Man for the Spider-geddon event.
I don't have Elsa. I have Scarlet Witch. She uses that jacket.

This is one of my all time favorite marvel legends wave. Unfortunately, I wasn't collecting them at the time. I've only gotten Vulture since then but I am still looking for the whole wave. I need the spider-man figures for my alternate spider-man collection.
Demo goblin as in demon or demonic. And i believe the blast effect pops off the umbrella.

Demogobilin was a large figure, but I put him together yesterday and he's actually awesome!
The Mk III armor is actually from the spidey comics, so technically there is a "comic Spider-Man" in the series. The design aspects they used however are from the rendering of it in the PS4 game. ;)
I personally believe the reason there are Gamerverse Spiderman figures in the line is because there is a Gamerverse comic series on the stands. I found an issue yesterday and on the cover was the Velocity suit. I think it was the number 6 issue.
