Finally, another Hasbro Marvel Legends X-Men wave! I don't know much about Vulcan, Darwin, and Maggott but I'll take them. Bonebreaker and Siryn are much needed for their respective teams. Havok is an awesome upgrade. And then...there's another Wolverine and Sabretooth, but I like to silver line things so...custom fodder go!

Skipping siryn's screaming head, maggot's shades, and speedball's bubbles are all frustrating choices. Thanks for showing the destro glasses, I'll be doing that.
Yeah, Robbie could definitely have used those bubble energy rings. If they could color the circular spikes for Dazzler, they could color the bubbles for Robbie.
The line "it's a Spider-man body, so not a lot of out" when you talked about the Hips made me genuinely laugh

I like how even the box art for Siryn has her screaming... that alone speaks volumes (heh) about how much they should've included a screaming head.

Sabretooth looks like Willem Dafoe IMO.
I got the full wave about a month ago, and am actually only disappointed in Siryn not having a screaming head.
"If you want figures, get figures. If you don't, don't" truer words have not been spoken when it comes to this hobby.
The neck piece that comes with Walgreens Jigsaw works for Havok pretty well I think
I've seen that and it works, I just think it's too bulky. It was usually skin tight bands.
The new Vulcan body buck is great. There's nothing wrong with the upper thigh length. He actually looks tall. It's just we're used to looking at stumpy looking male bucks with short thighs and long knees.
What can Vulcan do? Never heard of him.
I just realized they gave us an open mouth bonebreaker but not siryn :)

That's the coolest BAF I've seen in a while. Overall this actually isn't too bad of a wave.
Magot's arms are from that retro Hercules, which is pinless.. but that Sabretooth "boots with the fur" got me lol.. I couldn't pass up on these Xmen figures either, but I waited til they went on sale at Gamestop or Amazon.. awesome review as always

I have too! It's a haul to shoot and edit, but so much fun.
That Sabretooth face has me convinced they need to cast Edge as MCU Creed.
It was the collard version but Havok would fit well with your favorite X-Men era, the Outback. The upcoming Dazzler/Longshot pair, shirtless Wolverine, Havok and if you take punk Storm and put longer hair on her that's nearly a complete lineup.

New Havoc is dope. Saber tooth looks good . Siren tho, with a closed mouth?? Seems like a screaming Banshee would’ve made more sense for my collection. BoneBreaker makes up for all of that tho.... Fantastic BAF. Looks like fun. Thanks again ROBO &☮️

As and X-Men fan, I'm overjoyed for this wave. My favorite of the year so far! Still waiting for Havok and Wolverine to arrive in the mail, but the rest of them look great so far!

I know that this wave isn't exciting but you know Robo would never turn down a X-MEN wave of figures because Bonebreaker is needed to be with the Reavers and even though I don't have these figures, I will get Wolverine, Havok, and Sabretooth, Great review Robo.
Oh yeah, definitely. Like I talked about at the end, the wave doesn't really have a lot of known names, which is cool at filling out shelves for the hardcores but might not appeal to others.

i just popped out siren's shoulders and flipped the cape part there and it sits much better IMO

is the bonebreaker top half body easily detachable once you connect it to the lower half tank like in the case of cannonball and his cannon blast? or bonebreaker pretty much locked in?

Also Robo, if you do anymore customizing to fix Siryn, please bring us along for the ride! I was very excited for this figure as it’s a character I’ve wanted for a long time. But what they ultimately put out has been disappointing at the very least, And needs a lot of work
Darwin, a nearly unkillable mutant, dies in the movie
I ended up 1 piece shy of the BAF. I originally didn't want Maggot or Darwin, but Maggot is Blue, so I could use him as a Kree Villain. I just never could justify buying Darwin.
It's all about the "double knEEEE" and "forward facing pin for rocker" for me. It's like expecting the sunrise and set. lol

i think the vulcan body is an improvement from bucky cap. the overall anatomy is better with the exception of the chest looking kind of strange due to the butterfly joint. and i think his upper legs being longer than his lower legs is anatomically correct but it might be slightly exaggerated. at the end of the day i’ll be happy to see this body reused

I need to get the rest of the wave. I only got Vulcan and Siryn. I'll be passing on wolverine since it doesn't come with any BAF parts.
I was disappointed in the Siryn head though. So I took an extra Scarlet from G.I. Joe Classifieds, and swapped their heads. Instant improvement on both figures, as I always felt Scarlet looked too young, and Siryn looks too old. It really really works. I was even considering swapping their hair, but I don't think they need it at all!

Robo's getting that classic "articulation fatigue." Probably time for Hasbro to change up that neck joint configuration.
Naw, if it works, it works. Really can't get better up and down with this set-up, it's the tilt that suffers depending on headsculpt. But I mostly just get tired of saying the same thing over and over, I set off my own repetition pet peeve, heh.

Sabertooth looks pretty cool actually but it's too off the mark of the character for me. While it definitely ain't perfect, my apocalypse baf wave one is still the essential sabertooth figure to me.

That would be my main X-Men team for the display. I'm sure we'll start getting them as soon as I finish these customs I'm working on, heh.
I'm gonna miss the old window boxes with David Nakayama art they been using for the last few x waves & the short character bio's the new boxes don't have😭. Especially since I have already seen qc problems being post with the new windowless packages. I still can't get over the fact they made a siryn figure with moving hair but not a yelling face🤦. What was Hasbro thinking with a character name siryn? I would've prefer to have sabretooth with no pupils. Plus when I think of him I don't think of creed with pearly whites and think his teeth could be more dirty. I'm baffled on why they couldn't give Vulcan some plasma effects with the power eyes head. Hopefully I have some spare fire effects. Even though I overall like the wave it's not one of my favourites and it could've been executed better.
That Havok body is from the Sandman wave Spider-Man 2099. (which had the best paint on any Marvel Legends figure)

It's characters like Darwin that I'm here for. I want to fill out the X-Men roster. The same way they throw out these Flyman and Razorback give me Destiny, Whiz Kid, Cecilia Reyes, Pete Wisdom, Valerie Cooper, Sage, Adam X, Frenzy, Leech, Lila Cheney, etc
It's literally the hottest day ever here in the UK, but having another Robo video helps make it just that little bit easier to get through.
Honestly I'd love to see that new Sabretooth's head and hands on the Apocalypse wave version's body. Sure it wouldn't be accurate to any particular look but I think it could work for a more 'generalized' Sabretooth design.
Crazy enough, we're forecast to have out hottest day today here in the middle of the US. Gaaah.

I'm only familiar with Bonebreaker from The Punisher Genesis game, and a Fleer Ultra trading card. I never came across him in the books. Such a stupid-cool 80/90s character design.
That Sabertooth kinda looks like the lovechild of Willem Dafoe and Edge.

Despite the fact I hate the build-a-figure overall, the sunglasses that flip up are a great feature I'd like to see implemented in many other action figures!
I think that I prefer Robo's Bonebreaker to the build a figure.
You could swap out the hands and use a Johnny storm head on Darwin to have an iceman when he isn’t icy.

Well, my Maggot came in and Hasbro sent me a message that the other 4 I ordered from this wave have been sent. I don't know Maggot very well, I stopped reading just before he showed up, so I will be using him as a Kree!
