    A couple of weeks ago I bought the 6250 Supmix 20". Heat cycle all day on one tank of fuel turning it on and off letting it cool down and then warming it back up and checking all the nuts and bolts. Cut down one red oak 18" and 1 20" sweet gum it actually cut faster than my ms290 Farm Boss that's 24-years-old. So far I like it.

    You should do a woodsman wack off of this saw and a bone stock echo cs 680!😊

    Thank you Boedy.
    I was worried for a second this was gonna kill my 261 and 620 resale value.
    Use the cardboard as a template.
    Another thank you for confirming this isn’t a Husqvarna 268 clone :/ dern!
    Plus that ez start.. would have to go.
    Thanks a ton Boedy!

    i must admit it took me a couple of tries to figure out exactly how to consistently start this in 2-3 pulls but eventually I did and will say that this chainsaw is better than my Stihl and Husqvarna ones. It has plenty of power and it's easy to maintain. It's a bit of a gas hog but that's OK by me. There's no kickback at all and even with the included chain it cut pretty quick and very clean. I expect if you got a better chain it would cut like butter ( Husqvarna X chain cuts through like butter) but using the included one I cut some pretty large logs. It's certainly not light and could probably be a little better balance but I don't do this for a living so I'm fine with it. The two bars are a very well built and very sturdy. Idle is perfect out of the box. Chain brake works and is essential. The included safety equipment actually does a good job. The ear muffs and face mask are not the best quality material but they both will certainly protect your hearing and most definitely your face from flying chips. The face mask screen unexpectedly heavy duty. The gloves at best will keep any sweat off your hands and prevent it from slipping. The gas can is very handy! I can't speak for professional use but I will say I highly recommend this saw for home use and I would most certainly buy one again if I needed. The value of this chainsaw is amazing and costs less than 1/2 of the name brands and does just as good or better job.

    It has the same color as Neotec. Any news about clone of Husqvarna 346xp? Jonsered 2152/3C version?

    Decent saw but i just bought a neo tech nh872 power head 180 dollars on Amazon. It is 72cc. It had 80 dollar coupon and another 10% off. The decomp leaked, kill switch failed and clutch drum e-clip fell out. Lol. All fixed now and runs good. Very cheap.

    The only ones where they can't lie are the 45 cc versions...
    These zenoah clones are great though, especially for the price.
    I have dozens of them from 45 to 62, but I didn't know the long stroke 36, if they put the 48 biggest cylinder it already went to 65CC It's not more expensive to make a big bore.. but Chinese have used to making do with smaller than expected 😁 ...
    We forgive them, they cloned the good ones 👍 !!

    Thanks for doing that. Would have been nice if you measured squish out of the box - but, I'm sure that is coming.

    Great video. If you were deciding between this and a rancher 460, which would you choose. Just as an average home owner maintaining some land and cutting some firewood. Also, I already have a smaller saw. Husqvarna 45

    • @novicelumberjack
      @novicelumberjack  Před 26 dny +1

      Well, I wouldn't recommend the Husqvarna 460 to anyone unless they knew where they could get a really good deal on one. Nothing wrong with them other than...there is nothing right with them. Just a plain chainsaw, and they're pretty expensive for what you get. But I wouldn't really recommend the Proyama either. There are plenty of other good used saws out there. But if you just gotta have one of those two saws, and you are willing to fix some stuff as it breaks, Proyama.

      @novicelumberjack thank you. That makes a lot of sense. I really appreciate that answer and explanation. I'm in no hurry so I may keep shopping. But the proyama is cheap enough. I just may give it a try for the fun of it.

  • @chriss8206
    @chriss8206 Před 4 měsíci

    How would you feel about ripping? Smaller logs 12 inches in diameter with a stihl 026. 20in bar
    And a granberg ripping chain. The saw is 100 percent stihl parts. With an opened up muffler. actually has its original top end on it. Thanks

    I know that comments are not answered usually on this channel but, I have seen that some of the Neotec Zenoah clones have a gasket that blocks one of the intake ports without modification.
    Does anyone know of this is the case with this one?

    • @novicelumberjack
      @novicelumberjack  Před 2 měsíci +1

      I believe that issue is only on the clone of the Husqvarna 543xp. It has the strato ports covered up. This one does not have that issue.

    Doesn't make sense as to why Proyama would advertise the saw as 68cc's when in reality it's a 62cc's. Makes me wonder where else they're cutting corners.

      Farm Mac 380. Get the pro version with the upgrades. Pretty solid saw. If you maintain it and use good oil and gas it should last a long time provided you don’t abuse it.
