I like the way you're limiting the upper hand in a loose pinch to allow the saw to do the work.
I can’t stand flock filters.
not only did the tree not go where you wanted, but it homed in on your saw, spare saw, cant hook and ATV like a guided missile. that shit's almost creepy glad you and she are ok
Anyways isn't a word. It's just Anyway.
Would it be worth putting an air horn and uni filter setup?
NO! Do not cut holes into the cover of a 5 series saw. They have a positive pressure and you would lose power.
@@novicelumberjack like a little blower setup from the flywheel pushing air?
My dad has had a German Shepherd and Akita mix named Sarge as in Sargent. He was 105 lbs and looked like he was 140 lbs because of the fur and muscle. 💪 Literally a scary dog! Then my dad had a brother and sister ¾ Akita/¼ Black Lab mix. Cocoa and Rampage.95 lbs, the Black Lab made them smart and the Akita crazy. 😂🤣 Biggest dog we ever had was a 190 lb pure bred female German Shepherd named Lady though, a gentle giant unless you were a mean boar on the farm!
Winter filter kills saws!
Good way 2 do it❤
Pretty big difference! For a race, sure, swap to the winter filter👍🏻 for a work saw or firewood duty saw tho, I'd personally prefer the standard filter😁
👍👍 nice work!
10:15 Hey I wonder what would happen if those two f'ers went at it, the guy on the right definitely looks meaner.
Goes to show how such a small change can make a difference. 2 smokes are tempermental creatures 👍🏻, thats a damn good running saw buddy.
My grandfather was a raging alcoholic, and since the first time I was tipsy at 18, I’ve wanted to drink. I finally decided to quit on May 25th this year. Over a month dry so far and I’m feeling so much better. It’s hard to describe. It’s not a high or a woo-hoo feeling, but I’m much more productive and I don’t hate myself. I respect myself for making the tough choice for the betterment of myself and for the sake of my wife. Thanks for the encouraging message!! I am very sorry about your father. I hope you and your mom get along okay.
My thoughts on the modifications to pistons is hopefully you can use aftermarket pistons that will still be available down the road, but that's not always possible in today's world, so might as well not worry about it. And as long as you have good notes on what you have done to the piston for that saw, then I see no reason to worry because you could probably get the replacement piston modded to match up without too much trouble. The same goes for mods to an OEM piston, just keep good notes and do the same to the replacement. But I also get the reason why leaving pistons alone for some makes sense. That saw is pretty darn awesome, BTW.
Great videos, thanks for sharing. In my experience the 562 filter is too small, especially on a ported one. Very noticeable difference after installing red beard foam filter on my 562, especially later in the day after cutting several hours.

I always run the winter filters on my 550’s and 562, really noticable also they filter just fine.
Wouldn’t the winter filter be lower flow? The cold dense air requires bigger jets to avoid leaning out on every two stroke I have tuned. If you aren’t adding more fuel you need less air volume to maintain your a/f ratio.
The winter filters flow more because they are mesh instead of felt. When the temperature changes 20-30 degrees it does require carburetor tuning , colder weather richer tuning. No jet changes needed .
Congratulations on your saw build. It's a beauty
👍🏼
Neat! We actually do boarding and house visits for owners who would rather their animals stay home.
Stock sprocket and same muffler mod. I put a hotter plug in and tuned the carb. Try a hotter plug, that's what woke mine up with no dampening half cut.
How do you forget the breed Makita 😉
2 weeks later, I wish this bar was 2" longer...
What type of log ? Oak or ?
That's the 5 fastest cookies I've ever seen him cut, and wifie is "Ohhh honey !" ( sure hope it ain't his sister holding the cam ) BWHAHAAA

👊🏻
Nice.
The high idle thing is kind of bullshit. Mk1 was one thing but how do you go and release an updated version without fixing a pretty major issue. Cuts great! Runs like shit
My buddy says that his doesn't have issues at all. Maybe I need to run it at idle longer to let it cool off. But yeah... it's bullshit.
👍👍 nice-
Yes it is!
Compliments from me today 😊.

👍🏻
That is so great when you have the theory, and you make the change, and it all starts to come together. Looks like its really pulling well now.
Halo boss
You should take a look at line to line coatings. Might be worth getting them to coat a piston and do some testing. All the break in and blow by talk made me think of this.
Nice Mufflermod, she‘s not screaming loud but f***in fast. Thats what i‘m likin. Great Job on that MK1. Sadly mine is almost stock. The only Stocksaw i own 😂
Good word!
Alcohol is one of the most over looked and under estimated drugs on the planet. Once it gets a hold on your life it can be an excruciating process to try and quit. Unfortunately, some people never manage to make the leap. I myself was a relatively light drinker by comparison. Id usually stay completely sober Monday through Thursday, and then partake in 6-8 beers (sometimes light 12 Oz cans and other times high percentage tall boys) between Friday and Sunday. I had convinced myself the drinking was completely under control, well moderated, and normal. Yet somehow I increasingly found myself trudging through the week solely looking forward to those few beers on the weekend. I also continuously found myself feeling awful. Especially as I aged, I regularly found myself fighting fatigue, head aches, upset stomach, brain fog, sore joints, and periods of weight gain quickly followed by periods of rapid weight loss. Finally, one day it occurred to me that maybe the literal liquid poison I was ingesting every weekend had something to do with my symptoms. I quit drinking cold turkey. My physical and mental conditions improved dramatically after just one week. After two weeks I felt as though Id returned to my early 20's. Perfect uninterrupted sleep, significantly less joint pain, my mental sharpness had returned, and my weight stabilized. That was something like 3 years ago and I have yet to regret the decision to this day. My only real advise is this: Do not underestimate alcohol and the power it can hold on your life. While my drinking would have been a far cry from what most doctors would classify as "alcoholism", it nonetheless was negatively influencing my health, wellness, and family in ways I had a hard time accepting. If your struggling with health issues of any kind; give sobriety a try. You may be surprised just how good you can feel.
I've used stock t435 for years climbing. THEY are very good saws.
Damn cooks stock. She needs a shorter rakers!
That is a hot little saw. 👍
Nice saw sir!
