The $10 bill vs $5 bill analogy is absolute gold...😆🤣
I'm not even sure it's a great analogy, but I think my frustration with this bote comes through there. 😄
Thanks for this thorough review...enjoyed watching!
Thanks for watching!
Great review as usual Tactic! But this ship is definitely not for me and I am very happy that you help me sort the wheat from the chaff(Is that the correct saying in English). English is my fourth language so sorry if I make some mistakes.
Thanks, Jimmy! Glad you got something out of it and "wheat from the chaff" is exactly the saying.
I definitely feel the concealment and smoke fire penalty both bring this ship down, making it's differences mostly irrelevant compared to other options we have already. Could have been interesting if they got the mix of improvements/differences vs weaknesses right.
They already said that the ship will get a fix on that department...
Yeah... If this had something closer to the 7.1 of the other US 203/55 main battery (though probably not quite that low), it could have been fun. At least in Discord though, it seems the "fix" that is coming is to remove the "Hidden" descriptor, and not actually improving the concealment. I guess we'll see though.
I’ll be quite happy when this ship drops from a crate in the future, but now I’m quite happy to let that ship stay in the store.
Free is the right price. Hard to complain about it, anyway. 😄
Wowsl's thinking man's CC. Excellent vid as usual.
One could only hope, but glad you think so. Thanks!
I bought it for the fact it's an oregon city class ca, I was born and raised in oregon city
Gotta represent, I can identify with that. 🍻
A nightmare division for enemy CVs would be either a CV, Kansas, and the Rochester, or maybe just multiple Kansas and Rochester choices
It could certainly cover the map in angry AA bubbles, which can make you feel pretty helpless as a CV player, a frustration in it's own right. By in large, it seemed that Tier VII CVs had the good sense to leave me alone after losing their first attack group, which is one reason why I didn't show a game where this thing was effective at shooting down planes. By in large this game was my experience with CVs, which is they leave you alone.
This better not be the cause of what we discussed…
I might have injured myself during the course of review, but it wouldn't have been because of it.
Rochester is Oregon City Class, and NOT Baltimore! It was a generation after Balti, thus more advanced.
Yeah, though to be fair, the history video for this ship is where I talk about the class. Otherwise, the Oregon City-class was an interview improvement over Baltimore. A new ship class, but so similar that they would both later be converted into the same class of guided missile cruisers.
Tier 7? Armory shows it as Tier 8. Which is it really?
It's probably tier VIII on PC. This is World of Warships: Legends on console, where it is VII.
@@tacticangel Okay, thanks for that. Never knew there was a difference in PC and console like that. Interesting.
Doth mine ears deceiveth me? Doth thine Angel of Tactics mention a *gasp* fictionale commander!?
At a certain point, the analysis invites someone to tell me I'm wrong because if you only buy this other thing too, you'd have a decent ship.
This ship sucks in smoke it's got like a 9.1 kilometer detectability which is absolute garbage and 14 by sea and they have the nerve to say its "hidden" sure WG.
I guess they updated it to 7.1. that's definitely makes it more competitive, and just an awkward/wonky trade.
Not worth the buy. Skipping.
The short story, yes. 🙃
Juice is not worth the squeeze
In a sentence, yeah.
