Man I remember when the Wichita campaign first released. She so powerful and could tank so much with her armor. Back then there wasn't that many people with tier 7 BBs so you could absolutely go ham... now there are so many 16" guns in a match that you kinda have to keep a distance or you be deleted. Unless WG gives god tier MM then you can absolutely wreck the enemy. Still love her as she was my first campaign ship.
Humm, I’ve not got the OG to compare, but I’ve been loving it. Not found it inaccurate at all and I’ve found the AP to be savage. Got a vid of it taking 40k out of a steeply angled mushashi in 60 seconds
I have played with and against those 3 on a few occasions. I will say I prefer to be ON their team lol. I almost pulled the trigger on Witchita, but decided against it. I am currently saving for the Kutazov instead.
The Wichita AP has always been poor compared to Baltimore, it's more HE focused. I use Scott for grouping/ EOP, Kuznetzov for range and Roux to up the HE damage, which is a pretty solid build. Sometimes I swap out one of them for AL Baltimore if I want to be more agile. Great play, as always.
2 things that came to mind Aaron the Baltimore has a super heavy AP and the Witcher does not.. I think running Scott As an inspiration would help with grouping no?
When i play certain destroyers, i really get out in front of the team for spotting and capping purposes. I'll ping ships that i want off the board all day long because they are a direct threat to me. Sometimes without firing a single salvo. I know if i lose my concealment, I'll be back in port rather quickly.
I'll b honest here,, I was waiting and waiting for this ship to be available,, but if they are going change the stats but nit on the original then why would I waste my money? it's not the same ship if it will be nerfed and the original is not nerfed .. guess I'll pass on this, I should've been around whn it was in campaign..
Old Wichita is HE friendly but new Wichita is more AP friendly with the exception of the new ricochet angles and the grouping of the shells but love the paint on the new Wichita.

Wichita’s ability to bully the smaller gunned BB’s, great HE, radar, fairly accurate guns even with the new grouping/This Wichita’s worse grouping, and as an added bonus American cruisers like u said can use Scott as the commander, saving an inspiration spot which can make a difference with a high level commander. It’s AP from close range can really rip too. It’s an average-good ship but it’s not built for huge damage games but u can be extremely useful to your teammates. A well played Wichita can really help your team
When i have over 1000 hours in a game that a most of the time enjoy i dont mind spending some money on it but 17000 for one ship is stupid. I usually buy stuff on offer or in bundles
Damage done/accuracy has nothing to do with single fire or full salvo. Also I dont think I single fire a gun but once or twice when a turret got knocked out
@@whereruaaron I'd mention accuracy but I didn't all I said wouldn't it be better to fully salvo them then just with your main turret and yes it would do a lot more damage a full salvo vs just 2 main turrets I was thinking of getting the wachita but I don't know so I want facts as your the only one who put up a wachita relaunch

I’m buying this new one, just to fill the roll for when I need it in research slots, since there is no chance of acquiring the original ship. I’m curious as to why the original Wichita is CE and not Jean Bart or Ochakov, but some how it included Somers and Mainz in the CE mix?. Nevertheless, I’m sure somewhere down the road Jean Bart and Ochakov will return as nerfed ships and many more players will be disappointed.

The new shell grouping makes me feel like Scott is mandatory
I run Scott with mibelli and Madden... 7.4 sec reloads with punch through is a beast

Also I've found Baltimore special perk hurts especially when running yama for ap pen I would swap out Mims for Scott and turn off her special perk

Try a full salvo once in a while just your main turrets is doing good damage try full salvo for maximum damage

I watched the dev stream and saw Robin pretty much get eat up a by a Edinburgh. Was going to get the ship but saw how crap the acc is..
