    I think I'm suffering it since Grade school. Both of my feet. I'm 23 now and it took me more than a decade to know that it's not normal. I mean, I know it's not normal, but I didn't know it's called this way.

    Hi Paul iv'e had my bunion removed twice and its still grown back. The last time after my operation my foot went septic and i spent 1 year wearing a special shoe.I attended the hospital for a long time as my foot was in a mess. I'll never have the operation again because its a very painful operation,and i still have a painful bunion,so all my suffering was in vain.I'm 71yrs of age this year so i will just put up with the painful bunion and buy shoes that fit around the bunion or cut parts of the shoe away to accommodate the bunion.Good luck to all those people thinking of having the operation.

      Hi Judy sorry for the late reply as I've been into town with a friend. If I could show you a photo of my foot months after the 2nd removal operation you'd never have the bunion operation. I just buy shoes that fit around the bunion now. I'm not going through all that pain again.Id rather put up with my ugly foot. Good luck if you do decide to have the operation. But as i said I've had mine removed twice and it still grew back. Lots of love to you 👱‍♀️😗💜 Stay safe Marilyn xxxx

    • @marilynclarke7812
      @marilynclarke7812 Před 2 měsíci

      Hi Katia It's Marilyn i would never have the operation to remove my bunion again.As i said in the letter above I've had it removed twice,and it's grown back to the size it was before both operations.Now when i find shoes that fit the foot with the bunion on i buy 2 or 3 pairs. My toes are all twisted on my right foot where they've been pushed over by the bunion.But I'll put up with that rather than have another operation. You might be lucky and have a successful operation, Only you can decide.😘

    Hi there, I thought I had gout but now not so sure whether it’s gout or a bunion, I have flat feet however it only affects the one toe. My “gout” seems to flare up for a few days when I knock or stub my toe. I have a bump like this in my left toe that has developed over a period of about 4 years.

      Hi Lara, I usually do a custom orthotic so I can work around the issue. An option would be a rocker bottom shoe with a wide and deep toe box like the HOKA amzn.to/3lNW8A9

I’ve notived bunions developing in both feet in the past couple of years and am unsure why since I don’t wear high heels or tight/narrow shoes. • @OrthoEvalPal

I used it only for one day ( 2 hours) and i ruined my foot for life!!!!!!! Its 2 months and i still have pain and my bunion got bigger and harder. It was bruised and was yellow! I took care of it and the swelling left but my bunion grew bigger. I tried to help myself from a future surgery or pain but caused myself a injury! I had no problems with shoes before and now because of the splint I cant wear most of my shoes anymore .Everytime I wear any of my old shoes the pain gets bad and swelling starts happening .I'm depressed about it because I was fine before the splint.there was only a small bump.. 😔 Does anyone know why this happened to me?Splints supposed to help??I do not want a surgery!
