Luminous Space franchise is dead unfortunately unless some company tries to buy the ip for that franchise to revive it. But konami isnt going to do any 6 at the moment. It’s been a decade now there are still no signs unfortunately

Damn, this looks great. Worth playing for the music alone. Seems like a mix of Suikoden, Saga Frontier, and Valkyrie Profile.

Like what, turn based?
Ehh.... I'm not seeing anything that stands out to me here.
I'll take a turn based game, but give me something unique, some real depth of strategy.
For example. Fireball, Icewind, Lightning Bolt. They cost the same amount of mana, so I can guess they have relatively the same strength. So I'd say it's likely that when I'm choosing between them, weakness/resistance is the only thing I'm going to be considering. And that's boring.
Whatever "break" is might be kind of interesting, but it just doesn't seem to stand out enough.

Might just have to play this. Wish it looked more like Valkyrie Profile 2 on PS2, but it does indeed look like a Valykrie Profile game or something I played on hand-held. Whoever has played this what would you rate it from 1 to 5 stars?

Damn it. I just found out about this game and it looks pretty good. As a fan of the 2D style FF games, I think I would like this. But that means I’ll have to get a Switch. Spending that much money always hurts. 😂

Not really keen on the voice acting but gameplay, art and music are solid 10.
I wonder if there’s an option to turn voice acting off. I don’t care for it, either. I barely found out about the game, so I don’t know the details.
It sounds like valkryie profile listen to the voices on that game it's like their making a reference to it
You can turn voice acting off, I'm definitely doing that
I feel like voice acting doesnt fin in classic style rpgs like this, or it would have to be really, really good. I prefer to read and imagine character voices over mediocre voice acting.

This is going backwards a little from 3ds to the switch as the bravely default is so so pretty on the 3ds than u see the switch game of octopath.... no.... my wallet is crying just watching this. Its still beautiful and music is wonderful. But the idea of 2d platform on an expensive device isnt worth it for me, and please don't get me wrong, I love all of the FF series and its new releases as they are all have juicy surprises in each new games. Just this one is a surprise and something to sit down and think hard if I really wanna get the switch and the game. :/
I wish they would make a Pokemon game like this. At least some sort of spin off. I know Game Freak would never bother with it, but maybe they could get the studio that made this game to collaborate? They never listen to their fans, it's infuriating lol

@@tona4170 That could be argued for sure, perhaps a new industry throwback trend, it certainly has a high amount of hours worth of gameplay from 60-100 hours. I still feel from a marketing standpoint due to its graphics it may be overlooked at this price and perhaps $40-$50 may become the norm for sprite style games like this in future. It's definitely got higher production values than most Indie titles.

I'm just not into random battles anymore.... Yeah I could play the older FF titles all over again, but it's hard for me to welcome another game with random battles

@@ImmaBeast713 There’s no such thing as a “real” RPG. Everyone has different preferences in terms of what they want in an RPG, not everyone has to appreciate turn-based, random encounters. Personally I’m ok with it but it can be a nuisance and sometimes ruin the ambiance.

I Have Lithp I wouldn't mind collecting thd amiibos of the eight travelers. They would go right along side my Wayfare Edition as well!
Rah Sollest they can also make cool boss amiibos and the super versions of the boss spawns when u use it maybe once a day. To b fair, u wont need the amiibo but it resets the timer

Cool a Final Fantasy/Chrono Trigger/Suikoden skin with a crap ton of bloom and enough lens flare effects to make you go blind before finishing a playthrough. 10/10

Why do the sprites look so low quality? Just because it's supposed to be an hommage to FFT or older RPGs doesnt mean you should pixelate the shit out of the characters for no reason.
It looks like an old Tri-Ace title from 2001 with saturation at maximum (the whites are completely crushed). Can you also change that awful Font?
i hope the dubbing was done by gamespot...
