2. J Trudeau (JT) comes to attend G20. Talks to Modi, but from the press conference it seemed the relation between India & Canada is not good.
3. JT goes back to Canada, says "there are strong evidence against India for the killing of HSN", in Parliament. No evidence provided.
4. Foreign affairs minister says - "there 'may have' some link with Indian agent killing HSN". No evidence provided.
5. Fires Indian Diplomat over this allegation. again no evidence has been shown for reason behind firing.
6. India fires Canadian High commission in India.
7. JT says "we are not provoking India". (God knows in which relation you take action before you have any proof in your hand)

a) 1985 Kanishka Air India flight bomb blast and killing of 325 people by the khalistani group. At that time senior Trudeau was informed about the situation, but he did nothing. History is repeating again.
b) For last few months Hindu temples were attacked and vandalized by these group in Canada
c) People who do not support khalistani movement even if they are sikh are being robbed and attacked.
d) Few months back Indian consulate in Canada was attacked by these group. Indian diplomats kept on receiving death threats from these group.

What happened in 84 was shameful and that should not have happened. In today's Indian Punjab, there is no significant Khalistan movement; there may be a few sympathizers. Even in Canada, among Sikhs, the number of Khalistan sympathizers is relatively low, possibly around 10,000 at most. I don't object to their right to protest or hold a referendum, as long as it occurs on foreign soil. However, if they resort to violence, there is a clear boundary.

Being a Sikh, I can tell that the issue regarding India is very severe and these videos don't even touch top layer of it. Firstly, Indian media is highly driven by a right wing Hindu Nationalist government which had tried to silence minorities opposing them on multiple accounts. The assassination of Nijjar is also one of them. Since you guys like in Canada, I think this example will really help you guys in understanding the issues. There are people who want Independent Quebec. Would you call those people terrorists? The problem here is that Nijjar was supporting an Independent Punjab (AKA Khalistan) and was conducting Referendum regarding it. Usually when things occur in India, India always covers it up and never end up in the International media or stage. Post 1984, Sikhs went through a really rough patch in history. They was a genocide committed upon them, fake encounters, gang rapes of women, and much more trauma that I hesitate writing. Due to this state terror, there was a massive pulse throughout the community for a separate state where they could enjoy freedom. IN this movement, some people took the peaceful agitation routes (Example: Jaswant Singh Khalra; killed by Indian State and body never found, You guys should look into it) and some took path of militancy to revolt as they felt no other option was left. Because not only the Indian State committed terror upon them but also controlled the narrative in which they were labeled as criminals, terrorist, separatists, etc. The establishment was too strong, so a lot of the Sikhs started migrating to other countries and started seeks asylums for their safety. This is the very broad picture of times between 1984 to 2000. But now what is different is the internet and the Sikh diaspora around the world. So Nijjar, was one of the leaders of the referendum for Khalistan. He was a brilliant speaker and could precisely express the pain of the community. The referendum is a big success as hundreds of thousands of people show up the booths and India feared that. And I believe that this is the reason behind the association of Nijjar to silence him. Anybody who speaks up against the Indian Establishment peacefully, he or she will be thrown into the jail upon laws like NSA and TADA. The Indian government has a massive IT Cell, that will flood your comments with the narrative the suits the establishment. I, being a family man, fear that me becoming more public about the issues will lead to threats to my life. But, Nijjar and Khanda assassinations have woke us up that we as a community have to stand up to these bullies. If India is so democratic and honest, as it portrays to the world, then why doesn't it conduct a referendum in Punjab and let Punjabis decide the fate of their future. Most of these news people are highly driven was nationalism that they have no regard for human life. As in India National News, there were threats to drop nukes on Canada. Indians are good people, the establishment is torturing minorities to the extreme level. They only like people who have no self respect, no dignity, and are "yes man" people. And regarding this particular issue, I ask the Indian government to state any charges that you could label Nijjar a terrorist? Someone speaks up and asking for a separate state is not a terrorist. I hope you read this is comment as I have tried to paint a broad understanding of the topic. This is much more than this and hope you look into more videos that go deeper into it. There is a videos on Newsmaker and other platforms that will give you the perspective close to the ground reality. And Canada is a free country, people have right to protest as long as it is done peaceful. The United States has also supported Canada in the issue and has raised the issue of the treatment of minorities in India multiple times. I don't think this is just of political reasons. And before you make a perspective not he issue, DO MORE RESEARCH. And make sure they revolve around facts rather than nationalism.
My opinion is that I believe we as Sikh feel that their is more security, freedom, and prosperity with the idea of Independent PUNJAB.

The famers protest was not about kh@listan but it had elements of kh@listanis in it. There are several videos of the leaders threatening Hindus and assassination of pm just like that of Indira. It got massive support in funding from kh@listanis in Canada like Pannu. He even vowed to reward the person who brought down Indian flag at Red fort. In fact the protest itself was a resurgence of kh@listani movement in India.
