Modi handled Protests very well. The protesters were allowed to protest for many months, some of them even took advantage of the situation and made settlements on the highway road, also disrupting the lives of local population in the area. In the end, Modi even took back the Law despite its potential to help India’s horrible Agriculture sector.
I have not seen any other leader do that much for a protest from a particular area of people. Remember, it was mostly farmers from Punjab and Haryana who had been opposing the act. The rest of states supported the law.

I couldn't watch the video after she said that she was upset about how Modi responded to "farmers" protest and apparently this was not an ignorant western comment, she claimed to have "followed it and everything ". Majority of Indians were disappointed in Modi for reverting the laws and not using iron fist on "farmers"

Have you read farm laws which Modi had passed? Punjabi farmers are the richest farmers in India. The laws would have empowered the poor farmers of UP, Bihar, Rajasthan, MP and other poorer states but this was not accepted by the rich farmers and through their money power reversed the bill.

Farmer protests happened because there was whole lot of misinformation spread to the farmers. Khalistani elements were front, right and centre in this. The community protesting would not see the benefit of changes in farm laws. The last of any changes to farm culture dates from 60s- 70s. We well know we need to change, but some people have become slightly comfy with old system, therefore, it was easy to mess with their heads! The bill is no more an issue, PM has cenacelled the whole bill.

The farmers protest in India was a political affair rather than an organic protest against the Farm Laws. I would suggest that you peruse the laws enacted for the benefit of the farmers and compare it the actual situation of the farmers in India, you would understand, how a political party to gain brownie points, acted against the interests of the farmers only to show the ruling party in bad light.
Infact the repeal of farm laws has been the single biggest failure of the govt., which it was only forced to repeal, for peace in the country, from the chaos being fueled by Khalistani agents trained in Canada. This is FYI.🙏

Modi Govt changed 3 bills regarding Farm laws and giving the Farmers choice to sell privately thier corp. But the opposite side and few Rich Punjabi and opposition leader Protested against the New law bill and the Save opposition said multiple time that these Farms laws are mandatory for Farmers. But When Modi proposed the same law it need to be opposed in India. So the Modi govt revoked the bill and Farmers situations are same as it was always been. Sad reality of India. Many indian dont like India's growth and International Recognition.

Another fascinating trivia re: farm laws, reforms that were being brought in through those laws, they were, at least in part, response to multiple demands from WTO to streamline Indian agriculture sector and make it less government dependable and more competitive. And guess which country was leading the effort in WTO to pressurize India to bring in farm reforms. Yep, it was Canada. Canada was always leading the effort to put pressure on India to modernize its farm laws which was completely right thing to do btw. But when the reforms came in, it was Canadian PM who from outside made idiotic comments and Modi eventually had to take them back.

Indian farmers bill was made to help with an option of farmers to sell their products to anyone directly or in govt agriculture market. Till now farmers are forced to sell in govt agriculture market to low price set by these middleman (brokers) and brokers are getting rich by looting farmers. Only two states protested out of 28 states.

Regarding Farmers protest, whole India had No problem with Agriculture laws/reforms brought by Govt of India, except for some section of Panjab/Haryana farmers. Indian Govt has given option to follow existing laws, if any farmer does not like the new laws. However, protest was continued for NO Valid reasons, but for political and vested Interest. However Canadian PM Justin got inserted into it by tweeting in support of such protest. No doubt that this is gross interference in India's internal affair. Can Canadians agree, if another country PM tweet in support of Canada's Truckers protest or any other protests ? It seems. PM Justin has vested interest in keeping his minority Govt keep going.

The farmer's protest in Delhi was not Farmer's protest... It was the adti's protest or middle man protest.
