I just love your channel! I've watched you for years, usually not commenting. I am writing this time because you have been such a sweetheart and real. Cody and you are just starting your life living together. Remember it's about the journey, not the destination. we are only two now. My husband RB died in 2012, and my daughter Rina died almost 2 years ago. We have a wonderful family, too, are just missing 2 of us, at least for a while. I don't know if you ever read my comments,but if you do, know that you are a joy-bringer.

Hey Kandy, I haven’t commented very much, and I’m sorry because I’ve been thinking of how much you’ve shared with us, how much and how deeply you love not just adorable Cody, but your wonderful family, too. I know Cody is family but I wanted to cover everyone. I’m 20+ years older than you, but your relationships with your loved ones touches me so deeply. Ok here come the tears, but I mean your family is the kind of family I’ve wanted and prayed for since I was married in 1986. In a nutshell, I married a wonderful, kind, smart man and we adopted two beautiful children in 94 and 96. Somewhere along the way my dear Russ became addicted to alcohol and for years (even now) we are healing from the worst dysfunction that was the reason for our fall, becoming a very, very dysfunctional family. We are still recovering. . Russ died suddenly in 2012 and our daughter took her life almost 2 years ago. We are now recovering from losing Rina on April 5 2022. Russ died in march of 2012 and Rina in April 2022. It’s just my wonderful son Chris and me doing the healing. It has been harder than I never knew this kind of hurt existed. At the end of this video when you were crying, i started too because against all odds, your loveI understood because my past lies shattered, the sorrow, the guilt, the unbelievable pain…I haven’t married after Russ died. Not even dated. I feel too damaged. But you have given me hope, cause I’ve felt your own pain. But hey, all your joy and courage, and hope and love and wonderful laughter. I don’t know if I’ll ever find another man, but when I watch you and Cody, I sometimes cry because you two are so good for and sweet to each other, your love for each other has restored my belittle real, transparent IS possible. Another thing I admire and love is your relationships with your nephews. When my older sister had kids, Russ was heavy into addiction and for years I felt so scared, unable, and unworthy of being a good aunt. I’ve had to pay the price, but I’m trying and my nieces and nephews are much older now, but I’m trying to have relationships with each. But the damage is done. You are an inspiration to me. I hope you and Cody get married. You guys are undoubtedly soul mates forever. I feel so sad and ashamed that I have missed so much because of fear and shame. Thank you for all that you are: Beautiful - inside and out. I’m sorry this so long. You don’t know me from Adam but I feel like I am kind of part of your family even though I’m not. I agree &.one of the main reasons I watch you is because you show REAL life, the good & bad. I unfollowed 2 bloggers because they only show the good (fake), I understand why but its not REAL. Love when you show clips w/your nephews & fam and I want that cat sweater that your nephew is wearing LOL
I feel like you are happier now than you were a few years ago. You complain less than you did. I feel like you are genuinely more happy and less stressed about life in you love relationship and in your job.
