My husband and I don’t have kids. Just us and our dog! I always decorate, we have our tree, stockings (even the dog) and we put lights on all our windows (apartment living) it brings us joy, nostalgia and we deserve that too!
Yes my husband loves scary movies and waits until I'm busy to watch them. My stupid guilty pleasure the Kardashians, they aren't great yet can't stop watching. And yes we still decorate and we don't have children, but I also feel if I don't then it doesn't feel like Christmas.
Just love all the cats. Makes me miss my mine. I can enjoy cats by watching you guys 😅
We only have the kids part time and we didn’t have the kids on Christmas morning so I didn’t decorate this year.
Last year we did have them so I did decorate.

They need to put a disclaimer that if you purchase a cat your at risk of developing a pack of cats. I started with one and currently have 5 and for the life of me I don't understand how it happened. Happy to see you and Cody moved in together! He won my heart when you mentioned he played stardew valley. Any man that does that is a winner for sure.
I'm 75 and my non-sexual partner is 58. He's autistic and doesnt care about Christmas. I used to have 3 trees when I was married and families that spent mega bucks on presents. When married we used to fully decorate both outside and inside. Then I urned 48 and we divorced. I love a Christmas tree. Vincent couldn't care leThat way I don't get bummed out that we don't decorate. I will make a festive meal for Christmas Eve and Day, and I'll buy myself some presents! May you and Cody find love and joy your first Christmas living together. I gave up on together love at 70. Now I just enjoy each day God gives me.
Hi! I know it’s late but I’ve been in Cody’s or Kody’s shoes. I was that roommate that had a roommate that was a way better cook than me and I learned to BBQ. My roommate would boil the chicken for 15-20 min then I would BBQ it and put on BBQ sauce. You can cook totally in the grill but the chicken can’t be frozen. The key is to douse your charcoal in lighter fluid then light something else like paper and throw it in the charcoal at a safe distance. All coals have to be lit for at least 15 min then can start to cook the chicken. If u do it too soon your food will taste like the lighter fluid. Keep checking and turning the meat until done. My boyfriend like her food better than mine but that’s OK. I did too 😩! You have a great

can;t get over she still had pics of you & the ex...TRUE she can do her!! yet.. IDK family loyalty also...NO!! you don't become a nasty person to the "ex" yet... just how my family does it. OK..was wondering why Cody had;nt done laundry..LOL>> ""Part time kid""?? IDK NEVER considered my husband's kiddos as such.. around my area they are step kids OR usually called""BONUS KIDS"" or called just by their names...treated, included as part of the family! When we married the HUGE issue was my side of the family is soooo inclusive!! it was a thing in my family ALWAYS before the word was a big deal in society.....I was so worried as the kids were 7& 8... boy & girl..the girl.. even to this day..held out hopes her parents would work it out...She's NOW married with her own family! OH BTW I've ALWAYS considered & called the kids my grandkids!! The son , he's out west..calls a couple times a month.. we still talk for like an hour or more each call! the daughter & her family is local like 15/20 min drive one way.. Lucky the kiddos still find time for us old people..LOL.. Their mom & I speak/text... YET the idea od a say wedding pic or just a ""couple""pic displayed in a family member's home.. IDK... We're Irish, Polish & American Indian...back ground.. not Bible bangers yet do church, do beleive with not ever shoving our belief's into/onto others..yet family loyalty..is a big deal ..YOU bring up a good idea for myself inside to wonder about.. YES! the ex & her new hubby.. all intertwined..((small town here) my mom even babysat with her bestie the exs new hubby. !! (( My parents were much older parents)) we all get along..yet do have boundries & respect them too. As for the stockings.. are these that you ordered fancy, personalized?? I could see you making them, personalizing them too. Ours have always been same ones year after year.. basic handmade..We have alot of decor made by family or bought from yard sales or just kept over the years..used again & again.. We don't do color or theme trees etc..I DO love the look..yet to me adds un-needed work.. Bothers me hearing people c/o the work..the ""I GOTTA do this/ that for a holiday meant to be a reflection.. a time together.. IF there is a faith based.. yes or no either is fine!! well there is no ""gotta" just enjoy each other....as for the gifts..locally it saddens me this yr big time.. while love the kids.. sadly they will be getting 6 to 7 gifts from ONE group along with the family a complete but needs to be cooked meal.. THEN the other group does a toy gifting ave 3 to 4 to up to 6 gifts per kid.. plus candy, snacks.. THEN add the small groups who do clotes etc plus more candy/snacks.. families do well here.. YET still c/o not gettig the ""big items"" the expensive gaming systems.. the huge TVs ..SO..adults in the kids lives take items BACK exchange for that item OR get money(Which they CAN! it's allowed)) and well..use for themselves OR a trip ..or buy the big item. NO.. never discussing it is what it is as for family finaces.. ((NO!! kids don't need to be told how flat broke you are!! yet a soft landing on Santa or truth of well..money is tight)) Sure as you said..want to please the nephews//yet tone of then donated as a person who grew up poor..comes off just as we felt growing up..not worthy..donate..sounded as if instead of take back or trash it.. aww donate some poor kid will like... missed chance to help the nephews learn in general.. TO ALL the whiners going to wwwwoooo ""come for me"" think about it.. as I said holiday season is a write off..it's why companies do it... NOT kindness of the heart...same when peep out in stores c/o ""gotta"" just one big c/o fest..grab it/entitled festival...Yep..put it online w/ reply section open..it's why it's here.

I think it's really unfair what you're doing to your OG cats. Making them leave the room because they hissed at one of the kittens or whatever isn't very fair in my book. I don't understand why you have so many cats when they are the perfect adopted out. Pacific County Humane Society. 360/642/1180. They are the perfect age because as they grow up they're not as cute and people don't want to adopt as easily so now is the right time and again it is a no-kill shelter and it's a wonderful place!!
