Cup semi finals two almost identical situations where the ball has hit a player’s upper arm that’s reasonably close to his body. Yesterday’s quite rightly not given, but today it’s a penalty. If they can’t get that right then what chance is there ? If you keep on making mistake after mistake then tempers flare and emotions get highland you have more chance of what you saw today happening. They can suggest Forest are out of line even to highlight that a var official is a Luton fan but there was obvious concern to raise the point. Then when you look at the decisions made it doesn’t seem such an unreasonable a request to be looked at. Yes it might come across as unprofessional but so are the inconsistencies with decision making in matches that are a weekly talking point with every team. Forest have just said what most of us fans think and had enough.

Forest have followed the normal channels for a serious number of ‘professional errors’ that have cost them penalties, goals and a ridiculous sending off of Boly for having his foot stamped on earlier this season and absolutely nothing positive came of it so its neither surprising nor outrageous that they have chosen in this most extreme of cases to take a more unorthodox and powerful approach. Good for them, these problems must be dealt with in the spotlight not by deals in dark rooms. The media are simply apologists for the football establishment and are equally disgraceful.

I agree they shouldn't make official statements declaring officials as cheats, but it's clear that something has to change. Too many times this has happened with no recourse, change is going to be inevitable at this point.

If you see the third one, Young makes a touch with the ball but its hard to see due to the camera angle, and the Forest player trips on the ball as it rolls. The ref saw this clearly. Forest CEO a joke. Also, how would Luton gain an advantage??? Everton are almost just as close to Luton in the table! Forest should get points deducted for this behaviour.

  • @chinweokedavidnnajiemere2335

Why are all these pundits actually refusing to say the obvious or atleast pretend to be unbiased?
The questions they should be asking are:
    1. Is Stuart really a Luton fan? If yes, won't it be a conflict of interest to assist officiating in a game where one of the teams are directly fighting a spot with your favourite team?
    2. Did Nottingham Forest officially notify the PGMOL about this multiple times, if yes, what was PGMOL reasons for not effecting change in other to avoid this scenario?
It is hypocritical to assume that EPL referees are above corruption or bias, infact, it ks downright silly to think so, as that will be one projecting that they are Angels.
They are just regular humans and that is why systems were created to check them and prevent cases that will question their integrity.
Afterall just recently, the highest football organising body in the world (FIFA) was riddled with scandals of corruption and many were convicted.

After looking at the video, is it a penalty or not? I have never been this disappointed in these pundits. You can criticize the club that stands to lose billions when they get relegated but you can’t criticize the one person who is being paid to make the right decisions with the help of VAR? And hey, let’s not forget they can make wrong decisions and still make corrections thanks to VAR. What’s mental is that now PGMOL is offering Forrest a chance to listen to the audio for the VAR decisions. Is there a legal way to determine this audio was recorded on the date and time of these incidents taking place which would stand up on the court of law. If that isn’t possible to conclusively be determined, then they could quite easily fabricate these tapes after the fact, and if times and dates aren’t being provided with proof, then I believe that’s exactly what is going on. People that think officials haven’t been corrupt subtle this whole time are deluded. All those years they favoured United, all these years they’ve favoured city, and it’s just been swept under the carpet somehow. Now VAR is there to expose them, there’s nowhere to hide and questions are being asked, but they are being protected by the media. Not all media platforms, but all ones that are being backed but the same corruption that is making sure certain clubs get calls in their favour. The biggest culprit in English football right now is Manchester City, by a landslide might I add. But it’s more fashionable to say ‘livarpool’ with no real basis behind it 😂. English fans are as much the issue as the media and the corrupt officials for not calling out the bullshit.

These referees face no consequences for the bad decisions they make on a weekly basis.
