There’s nothing wrong with wanting to get rid of acne, especially if you’re someone like me who has some dermatillomania (I tried my best to spell it right) and cannot help but pick at any and all acne. The longer it’s there the harder it is for me to not pick at it, and it hurts when I do. ☹️
I have it too, the acne anxiety is so real. One breakout can lead to picking and then full face tiny zits from said picking. I use a lot of pimple patches as barriers and even the huge hydro colloid patches meant for blisters bc it blocks me from picking at an entire area! Clay masks and hydrating sheet masks have helped reduce picking too, if it feels icky then I’ll stop picking lol, so I try to keep a mask on if I’m stressed and at home. If I do pick, the hero cosmetics rescue balm is a miracle worker. And elta md skin recovery serum (or krave beauty great barrier relief for a budget friendly option), those peptides and centella save the skin barrier.
There is no way any mask or anything for that matter could undo that amount of damage in only 4 days, this had to have been filmed over a longer period of time & also I would need to know more about what caused that reaction on the face. Like was it a chemical burn or what

She never mentioned it being acne,so there is a possibility it being an irritation like someone mentioned maybe micro needling which would’ve healed after a few days. Face mask could’ve helped her with the irritation. If you don’t wish to spend that much regular inexpensive mask would also help with redness and irritation. I sometimes use one for when I break out or my face is not feeling the best all of a sudden. After a cleansing I pop one on and I think the serum in the mask helps for me.

Guys, please know that anyone worth your time will love you regardless of acne or any other insecurity/imperfection. Also, odds are that acne was hormonal and would’ve cleared up on its own in a few days without those masks. It’s just an advertisement, but a lot of the time the best thing to do is leave your skin alone to breathe and repair itself. The more skincare products you use the more it’ll freak out. When I get acne I just use hydrocolloid patches and a salycilic acid topical gel. ❤
