He even used the same controllers he would throw shade at people for using 😂. Almost becoming like motorcycle community, which is part of why I friggin moved over to ebikes! You've been bringing the community up since day one. On top of everything comes out of your pocket so can trust what you say.

Idk if anyone mentioned it, but one way to really prove your speed (not that you have to) but if you want, would be to see if there is a drag strip in your area that would let you run your bike and they'll clock you with and official speed and 1/4 mile time! Could make for a really awesome video too!

Have you considered making a battery case out of ABS plastic instead of using a custom battery bag? It would also give you some impact resistance. All you need is a heat gun and you can bend and shape. Then use a rivet gun to connect the pieces. Just some food for thought 💭🤓
I wish I was better versed with using my vaccum forming machine, because it could really do the job, and the panels could be hydro-dipped and the inside layered with padding.

The ebike I built is 12,000 watts and I can't get above 80. Extremely impressive build man! Mine is more geared for offroad with 19" motorcycle wheels and Shinko 244 tires and I love em. Smooth offroad and plenty of traction on trails. Best of luck with your builds, and remember to check the speed ratings on the tires you use! A blowout at those speeds would be real bad
I think it looks good enough. My 52v 1500 watt converted mtb has a back rack with a large plastic tool box zip tied on it. It functions well and i can carry tools and a extra tube and air pump and my extra battery. Mine is built for long 40 mile trips at about 75% of full throttle.

That's 58.5ah on the same pack with the same discharge rating 😮 though, I would research just a little more just incase the p42a has a little more raw power

@@E-bikeguy from what I've read and a few calculations, the p42a can do 162w continously or, in your case 42120w in your 260 cell pack but has a higher impedance which I guess is a higher internal resistance, the p45b can do 120w or 31200w constant but has a lower impedance which they claim allows the cells to be charged quicker. By looking at the datasheets on their website its probably best to stick to 95w per cell if you want the cells to still have 75% capacity after 500+ cycles. But let's be real, 500 cycles will get you 25000 miles if you get 50 miles per charge 😂👌 and by then you'll have made a 50kw pack or 3 loool.
I checked into the tires you use and recommended but the 4" wont fit my current fork. 3" fits with lots of room. Any recommendation on 26x3.0ish tires?

Its incredible even Sur Ronster with a super modified expensive bike is not going above 90mph from what I saw on his videos. I remember seeing your videos last year when you were putting the 3000w motor on the mountain bike and going really fast.

They make some motorcycle seats that could easily have bicycle seat rails mounted to them so you could still use a seatpost. Even a few with a back on them that already have the seat post rails.

@E-bikeguy actually in singapore we have someone who invent an Bluetooth button just to lock and unlock the throttle mode. They just buy an Bluetooth remote cost only $2 and connect it to throttle wire
Ebikes are fun! I tried to overvolt mine to 60V. One you get these speeds there are more problems. I think 48V is enough for me. I need new breaks now, there are hills where I live. I think this way the motor should last long. Ebikes always run at 100% full throttle. it would be nice to have a powerful ebike and not have to run it at 100 all the time. but then you know the power is there. I have few Q's for this hannel. How does he charge this huge battery pack? How much does this battery weigh? an you make a large battery pack like 20s2p to have high voltage and low weight for a video. I ran my ebike 15s1p and it was lightweight and fast.
If you want the breaks to stop squeaking put new pads and rotors at the same time that is the only 100% solution i have found after 4+ years now as a bicycle mechanic. Very important that both are changed at the same time so no old contaminants transfer to the new Parts
Brake cleaner on rotors, never touch pads on stopping surface. Proper adjustment and position. And brake quiet for cars actually works temporarily to quiet it down in wet weather.

I have 72 volt 150ah controller and 72volt battery but it’s says it’s 84 volt on lcd screen but idk how fast you think i will go it’s in shop right now it’s the same motor too
If you stop the vid at 14:52 the only thing that need improving (in my opinion) is if you had a nice cover all round the battery that was carbon fibre it would look fantastic... Or like you said, a custom battery bag would look great also.

Some 3d printed covers with the logo air brushed and some styled vents would look great on the Tommebike I can picture it'll make it a classic the wires already hidden so well and the stabiliser gives it its own look and its functional on a mtb frame lol I see why folk hatin it's all good

Hi Guy, Great builds and videos. I notice you use a three speed freewheel on many of your builds. All the three cog sprockets on Amazon appear to be smooth on the inner surface of the cluster. They make some motorcycle seats that could easily have bicycle seat rails mounted to them so you could still use a seatpost. Even a few with a back on them that already have the seat post rails.

@E-bikeguy actually in singapore we have someone who invent an Bluetooth button just to lock and unlock the throttle mode. They just buy an Bluetooth remote cost only $2 and connect it to throttle wire
Ebikes are fun! I tried to overvolt mine to 60V. One you get these speeds there are more problems. I think 48V is enough for me. I need new breaks now, there are hills where I live. I think this way the motor should last long. Ebikes always run at 100% full throttle. it would be nice to have a powerful ebike and not have to run it at 100 all the time. but then you know the power is there. I have few Q's for this hannel. How does he charge this huge battery pack? How much does this battery weigh? an you make a large battery pack like 20s2p to have high voltage and low weight for a video. I ran my ebike 15s1p and it was lightweight and fast.

If you want the breaks to stop squeaking put new pads and rotors at the same time that is the only 100% solution i have found after 4+ years now as a bicycle mechanic. Very important that both are changed at the same time so no old contaminants transfer to the new Parts

Brake cleaner on rotors, never touch pads on stopping surface. Proper adjustment and position. And brake quiet for cars actually works temporarily to quiet it down in wet weather.
You should look into making a fiberglass battery box. Make template from cardboard, fiberglass it and boom.. Would look sick man.

If you stop the vid at 14:52 the only thing that need improving (in my opinion) is if you had a nice cover all round the battery that was carbon fibre it would look fantastic...

I'd have sent it back but it was only £15 so it wasn't worth the hassle.
Some 3d printed covers with the logo air brushed and some styled vents would look great on the Tommebike I can picture it'll make it a classic the wires already hidden so well and the stabiliser gives it its own look and its functional on a mtb frame lol I see why folk hatin it's all good
