I have no choice but to agree with the judges. I honestly cannot dispute the results. Congrats to the podium winners. Too bad Jay got hurt and Rim slammed. Very exciting and such fantastic energy! Gary and Hucker making such great runs. Mind BLOWING!

I agree with you top podium place rides were kinda boring to watch. They kept doing the same trick over and over. Maybe it was about pumping the bowl and going high I dunno?? 🤦♂️
It’s also the same in other major bmx events.... it’s a shame if you see when someone gets an x game gold you can guarantee that they will get 5 more even if the run is not as good as others

You will never see a run full of table tops and one footed X up's coming close to a podium in X-games. let me ask this, Did Logan Martin deserve to win 2 golds at X-games this year? or how about Ryan Williams? Or Garrett Reynolds? I'll wait....
@@shokurozu277 yeah I think x games is definitely judged accordingly, I always love to watch the street courses bike skate or whatever, it always brings big tricks out of all of the riders. ❤✌

I not sure what its legit name is but the 360 body varial straight into Manual was sick. Using the same ramp into a kinda Nose picker one foot Manual was also cool if he had dropped in clean.

Yann Drobecq Corey’s transfers were insane and unique and he uses the course better than most riders

I think he's super exciting to watch ride and maybe judges feel the same way? I think BMX is kind of between music and sports, some times a band is just more exciting to people even though they might not technically be better. In sports fastest/highest wins no questions asked, but it's got to be hard to judge these things
High speed / massive airs, smooth and unique transfers, 100% usage of the course, and an unmatched style. Well earned in my opinion.
As an example, nobody else did the pocket air transfer from the vert quarter to the corner w the curved wall sub. Stuff like that is supremely hard, like when Kris Fox jumped the big quarter to quarter the long way. Nobody else did it because they can't.

I didnt see one trick done by the people that podiumed. All they did was go fast, air and manual. 99% of all bmx riders at any given skate park can do that. Dave mirra would be throwing up right now watching this crap. And yes I understand this is a bowl contest and not a park contest but serisouly we still need to see some insane tricks done. It's so hard to watch these guys casing every landing, landing flat bottom, half ass manuals....what a joke of a contest
I mean they air about 13 feet with style and ease, and for me that's way better that doing over and over the same whip to bar straight to flat.

Fifty BMX i know one judge is dakota roch, which he’s a street rider so idk why he’s a judge at a bowl contest
Riley Perron Dak is one of the worlds best riders. He knows the sports inside and out, there’s no wonder he’s a judge. Street or bowl, he knows bmx better than anyone.
