He has had some bouts that went in his favor. I have been boxing for years in the amateur circuit in the NW. Never went pro but was on the team. Was mostly for fun for me. From my observations, he still has a long way to go. Fact is, Paul knocked out two pro fighters. Tommy is hands above those two fighters, but Paul sent them to the pillow. I do not like Paul, on personal reasons, as a fighter I see his potential. Will he ever be a champ, probably not. Will he get enough rep to be talked about in the mid tiers of the leagues, yes. I think he's there. He has a mouth. I have never respected mouths. The ones that get it done, don't talk, especially on fight night. Some trash talk brings in the dollars. But, the broken teeth and silent sentinels of the fight game, are the real ones with honor and true noteworthy character. As a fighter, the last will always be more important than the money or some false belt, on top a mountain of children. (Men who act like they're still in JR high, shut up and fight... Casuals, speak of the entertainment and the awesomeness that is the fight game. Don't pretend you can step up to any of them, even CM Punk.)

And he started training boxing really late in his life. Most professional boxers started training when they were kids, jake started training inhis twenties. Most professional fighters lose focus, hunger, and discipline after they get rich and successful from fighting. Look at conor McGregor he was the most driven, disciplined fighter when he went on his historic run in the ufc, but after all his success and money, i believe he has lost the ability to discipline himself to keep training and improving and learning. So i have respect for jake paul for having so much self control, and discipline to continue improving in a very tough and dangerous sport.

Jake paul is rich he doesnt need to fight to make a living. He's already a rich, successful guy. And he started training boxing really late in his life. Most professional boxers started training when they were kids, jake started training inhis twenties.
Most professional fighters lose focus, hunger, and discipline after they get rich and successful from fighting. Look at conor McGregor he was the most driven, disciplined fighter when he went on his historic run in the ufc, but after all his success and money, i believe he has lost the ability to discipline himself to keep training and improving and learning. So i have respect for jake paul for having so much self control, and discipline to continue improving in a very tough and dangerous sport.
