      This is quite an old video now. They change the app regularly. I probably ought to redo them with the more modern app. Thanks for watching 👍

    Why has that option of seeing my account and transferring money suddenly dissappeared off my app?

    does it have to be registered to a business account? can I just put in my personal bank details and have each payment go in to there?

    • @MickReviewsStuff
      @MickReviewsStuff  Před 2 lety +1

      They recommended a business account to stop charge backs, from people not recognising payments on their bank statements. As a safe guard, I always tell people what it will say on their statement. I personally use my business account but I know people that don’t

    Hi Mick can you issue e.receipts with this device ?

    • @MickReviewsStuff
      @MickReviewsStuff  Před rokem

      You can issue a receipt from your phone, in the app, either to the customers email or via text. The app doesn't save either so you can reasure them they won't get any contact afterwards.

    Do you register your bank account with the app or do you have to type in the bank details every time you withdraw your funds for free? Hope that makes sense. TIA

    • @MickReviewsStuff
      @MickReviewsStuff  Před rokem +1

      If you tap them in the 1st time it will give you the option to use that account, every time you send money. Obviously you can download to a different account if you want.

    Is it possible to have all Payments into Card Reader AUTOMATICALLY go into one's own Personal Bank Account.

    • @MickReviewsStuff
      @MickReviewsStuff  Před 2 lety +1

      Yes. Go into business account/settings/payout settings and toggle it in there.

    • @MickReviewsStuff
      @MickReviewsStuff  Před 2 lety +1

      It will then pay in to your account 1-3 days when the money is clear

    Great video,
    I've set up sum up device, however I want to pay money into my account, can I do this ..or doess the money havevto go directly into a buisness account.

    • @MickReviewsStuff
      @MickReviewsStuff  Před 11 měsíci +1

      On a desktop, log into your account. Go to your account name in the top right corner, toggle to settings, this will open to payout settings. Simply select Bank account, and it will go straight in there. I prefer to use the business account as i can see my daily total, but its down to personal preference. Hope this helps, Mick.

      Not sure about that, i'm sending mine to a HSBC Business acount. Maybe The Halifax don't allow card payments on building society accounts

    hi, is it safe to buy a used sumup card reader from ebay?

    • @MickReviewsStuff
      @MickReviewsStuff  Před 2 lety +1

      That’s a question I’ve not had before. The air unit is nothing without the app on your phone. It’s the phone that contains all your data etc. The air is available for £20 brand new though and that’s guaranteed to work. I bought 1 from ebuyer and 1 from Sum Up, direct. They’re also available on Amazon. It has to be your decision on the eBay purchase
