To the second letter...girl leave!!!! Like Yvette said love is a action. If what he is telling you is not matching his actions RUN. I was her, I got pregnant and still stayed. With a beautiful gift “my daughter” ...I got TIRED of it and did not want her to grow up in that environment. He wanted marriage BUT his actions continued to show otherwise. I deserve better, she deserves better, I loved him but 5 years of heartache, tears, pain, disrespect, etc is not worth it. You deserve better!!!

Omg..😂I relate to Glen in regards to the reasons he goes through your phone/DM's etc. and to the part when he said, fully confident, "I can pick anything." It's just big undercover spy energy, and we have it. loll
I did actually find out about the surprise baby shower my husband planned for me for our 2nd kiddo by going through his phone though.. I was sad that I found out, because I had never had a surprise party of any kind thrown for me before, and it was something I had expressed to him was hurtful for me because I was the only one in my family who never got a surprise bday party or anything growing up(grew up the scapegoat). I had really felt like they were finally planning one for my 25th(which was a few months before our baby was due), but I was wrong.. so he was being really sweet, making it up to me(the texts were him recruiting my mom/sister's help).. and I ruined it for myself and had to pretend I didn't know.

Having rules on not being "allowed " to go through your spouses phones/ messages ect is only setting up problems. It doesn't mean you don't trust the other person. There is no valid reason to not be able to use each other phone. It shouldn't be a big deal. If someone really wants to cheat then they'll get another phone or secret accounts. If someone is cheating & being so balsy just having texts on their phone that's ultimate disrespect & they don't care or respect u. Her going through his phone doesn't matter- she had a bad feeling & it was proven with good reason

Watching as a 19 year old young woman of God! 🙏🏽 It is so incredible to hear the beautiful wisdom God is living out through your relationship and family. As a child of non-Christian parents I’ve never really had an example of what a Godly family actually looks like but beleaf in fatherhood and this podcast has definitely been the next best thing ❤️ my boyfriend and I love you both and your family has changed the game for us and how we see purpose in family and relationships! The second writer needs to get out of that relationship. It is a soul tie! I agree that this is a red flag, and excusing it will enable him to keep doing it. Really take heed to their advice, follow your spirit, and don’t go any deeper into that. You need to get out of it, and re-assess yourself. Ask yourself questions like ‘why do I tend to excuse those sins?’ ‘What relationship examples did I see growing up and how have they affected me?’ etc. CZcamsr RC Blakes Jr. talks about these topics often. I’d rather you learn now from these resources, than later after having children or getting married. You want to learn from a book rather than experience, because experience beats you up! So get out, and reflect on yourself (not on the guy but on YOURSELF), so you can make more conscious decisions going forward! You will thank yourself later 😃

To the marriage proposal situation. I think he should plan to have her watch a movie in her home. Then he should have her friends and family show up outside each holding a candle of some sort (6ft apart off course😑) and ask her in front of everyone. They'll all be taking pictures and taking videos anyway. No photographer needed!

I feel like privacy is important in couples and don't condone going through each other's phone or journals. I could understand why one would do it because I've been tempted to do it. There has been time when I've been very angry with my partner and instead of going off I wrote horrible thoughts I was having in my journal to deal with the situation. Then later felt better and forget about it. If he was to read those things and think this is what I think about him normally, that would derail the relationship over anger thoughts who no longer exist.
Reading a journal with no context is dangerous.
For the last story, the lady needs to fast and pray and go to therapy. Then call him and yes tell him you wanna apologize in person, over lunch. Tell him how sorry you are about the whole story, ask about his life now, tell him if he wants to make the divorce final or If he's single, does he want for you guys to date again and mend the relationship. Tell him you don't need an answer the same day. He can think about it then call you. When he calls it will either be divorce talk or let's talk and rediscover each other.

Before I watch this, I'm responding to the cold open. That excerpt assumes that only the guy can or will cheat in a relationship. Violating the expectations we set in relationships can be a mutual effort, or one-sided. But the issues are usually shared by the couple. Human coupling can take many directions but for the sake of this conversation, I'm talking about a male/female, outwardly monogamous relationship. I believe healing can also be shared by the couple. Okay. Watching & listening & will hold my comments, if any, until the end. Challenge accepted.
I really like that. If I knew we were going to be married for X amount of years, but X number are going to be hard, & the rest will be happy & productive. I'd say Yes too.

Man girl I hope you seee this who ever you are. There is someone I loooove that said he loved God but fell into sin, he also said he loved a lot of things. Not that what he said wasnt true but ultimately some times there are tests of what you love more. Glen was right about self control- one of the most important things you need in a man that says he loves God is self control. You probably have an emotional soul tie, and honestly you'd be better off ending it now so you can clear your head. You definitely end up becoming an enabler by letting this slide you need to let him go, and honestly not just for a little while, not a month, not even 2, but until he shows he cares enough to control himself- which could be year(s). If you're young theres a looot of life to live then- and a lot of people to meet. You'll have a lot of fun if you let yourself have fun without being burdened by a negative relationship.
Probably a sign of my poor communication skills but I wouldn’t mind my husband looking through my phone to see if I’m venting about him to others but only if that’s a way for him to better himself in the relationship 🤷🏾♀️
