The hand thing genuinely feels like a simple and great mechanic similar to the portal gun if this game was just a puzzle game I'm sure I'd still be pretty good but this is a welcomed mixture of horror and portalish puzzles

While i still like the game I lost a bit of the devs respect after they pulled a NFT move
I theorize at some point there will be a hand puzzle that needs to be figured out while being chased or to keep something at bay- and to a degree greater than pulling a big box down to stop Huggy
That sounds like a good idea, I hope they add it. This is what I imagine it’ll be like:
So, your being hunted down by Kissy Missy and you’re effectively in a maze. You have to sneak around while activating things and once you finish it you can trap Kissy Missy inside. I also think they’ll add a weapon and possibly extra enemies.

I still think the next monstrous toy chasing us will be spider-like considering the song you hear in the Chapter 2 teaser trailer.

Thalassophobia is fear of any body of water bigger than a puddle.
It can also just be fear of the unknown in the water, and just bodies where you cant see the bottom.

Phobias are irrational fears where they can be debilitating, he may be afraid of these things but i dont think they're full blown phobias

From what I remember about those NFTs were just a glorified teaser puzzle for Chapter 2. So I doubt MOB Games will bring them back.
My 6 year old daughter’s favorite Christmas present was her stuffed Huggy Wuggy and Kissy Missy. It’s fun when she shows other parents and they’re like “Ohhh yeah… that’s nice.”😳

I cannot wit for chapter 2! and the DLC crossover and the mobile port! this is amazing! Also based off what was said about chapter 2 being longer and scarier is there a chance that there might be new characters that get introduced? Maybe more backstory to the new characters as well the other one? would the chapters connect to each other in some way? either way im hyped abt these news!

When I Played Dark Deception For The First Time Yesterday, The Levels Felt Quite Difficult. It's Like Impossible to Have S-Ranks. Good Game Aswell.
If you want a good youtuber that plays Dark deception, I'd highly recommend Angeloplays. He does a lot of content on Dark Deception. And he has multiple playthroughs on it well.

One mechanic that would be really neat to add would be some kind of RC car and you could use the hands to get it back instead of it just teleport back to you.

I feel like there will be an extra hand in chapter 2. Considering there are three hands on the crate that falls on Huggy.

I lost respect for the developers after the lore-based NFT incident, so I won't be playing Poppy Playtime myself. However, I still do like the game itself and how smooth the animation was for Huggy Wuggy, so I hope it improves and gets even better from here on out.

I think I had an idea for the battle scene, so you know there's no weapons but there's an addition for the hand in the boss battle. When huggy wuggy got closed to the traps. You need to use the hand to make it drop to huggy to defeat him.

Good to see that the Devs are listening to the community. When C1 came out, I saw a lot of people talking about how simple yet great the Hands mechanic is and that the mechanic has a lot of potential. I also saw people talking about how they’d like to see different puzzles in both variety and difficulty.
Good thing this game is improving! The visuals and gameplay is very neat and the overall idea is clever! So glad we’ll learn more about the lore

I wonder if there will be more enemies except just having (insert character) Chase you around for half the game and I wonder if huggy wuggy will make an appearance in chapter 2 like he survived falling off the bridge and I hope poppy will make more appearances in the game

OMG THIS IS SO HILARIOUS your talking about poppy playtime about the trailer coming in a week or two. But I’m watching this on the exact same day you posted it. And an add comes of and it shows poppy playtime chapter two.
Honestly, seeing Kissy Missy's model, I really hope she isn't the big bad in chapter 2 now, at least not like this. Yeah, she looks scary, but she's just a pink recolour of Huggy Wuggy right now, as it stands, which I think definitely detracts some of the intrigue from the next chapter. I'm hoping that, if she is the big bad, she only starts the chapter like that, and then something happens to her to change her appearance. I think it could be cool if she got disfigured somehow at the beginning by the grab pack and you're chased through the factory by a far more mangled half-plush-half-organic creature instead
She isn't Entirely a Recolor, Her Head is a different Shape, and maybe her body would be a little more Feminine

@@shortstackashe Well if the 2nd Chapter is longer, I do expect there to be at least another Enemy Type, Maybe we could start seeing Poppy pose a Threat, seeing as it is Poppy's Playtime, Bendy didn't become a threat until Chapter 2 of Bendy and the Ink Machine.

It’s really sad to see this gaming becoming so popular, even though it was plagiarized. Another game, called Venge, was released a year or two before this, but never gained popularity. It’s main character and setting are nearly identical. Both games were made by previous Minecraft animators.

We have to see the next chapters ,the main reason of that accusation is because some dicks in mob gaming (the team behind poppy) bullied and attacked the creator of venge but you can't blame the entire team because of it and also the creator is rightfully paranoid after the people that mocked him made a game similar but he is kinda streching by his logic Venge would be a copy of BATIM so i say wait before calling poppy a ripoff the game is like half an hour long

I know this is an off topic question but have you heard of a small game called the third shift? They have a couple demos out and the full game should be releasing sometime this year. TBH I think it's a game with enormous potential and I'm a little surprised more horror youtubers haven't touched it at all. I'd give more information but it's the type of thing people should really experience for themselves. It takes a lot for a game to freak me out nowadays given how saturated the market is, but that game kept me awake at night for like a week. I'm not associated with the game at all outside of being a fan, but I really think you would like it, especially since it goes in a much different direction than a lot of horror games right now.

What I like about stuff like this is, unlike big AAA Corporate Games, These Game Devs (Poppy Playtime / Dark Deception) just work with each other with no worries about promotion or monetary profits. And it actually helps both of them in the end.

I will be honest. I was honestly hoping these people would be a flash in the pan. They are pulling several slimy tricks to make money, including milling out the merchandise before there was even a demand and putting more to the games on NFTs.
Man I can't wait for more Poppy gameplay. The game seems to have a lot of secrets and the hidden lore always keeps me hooked. As for the hand mechanic, that was very unique I pray they continue on using it as much or more in the coming chapters. Also hearing it's gonna be longer and scarier got me pumped up!!!!!!

in my opinion poppy playtime would be much scarier if the monsters weren't trying so hard, it's clear they were trying get them to fall into the uncanny valley but they added scary features and it just ended up being a bit bland horror wise. i'm hoping in chapter 2 they'll rely more on the horror of the atmosphere instead of the jump scares. this is all in my opinion though and i still love the game (mostly)

If chapter 2s antagonist is catbee being such a small toy I reckon it will be more tight spaces type stuff like vents or ducts or they might expand it so like each toy has an area with a larger "statue" of the featuring toy that is alive and hunts you so like chapter 1 was the huggy section. Deeper into the factory might be the catbee or Bron areas
